Which vp44
just bear in mind that most of these folks will only give you core credit for the same type of pump. by that I mean if you have and SO pump they need an SO in exchange. What tranny do you have in yours? 6 speed would be an HO, 5 speed and autos have an SO pump. DAP and Vulcan will help you work that out.

wet floor on passenger side
Its raining and dark out this way, but it is easy to see as I remember. to all of 30 seconds to find.

wet floor on passenger side
It drains thru the fire wall on the passenger side. could be clogged with dirt or like mine the drain could be missing and the air movement under the hood is blowing back into the cab. I believe you can see where it goes thru from under the dash. I had to add a drain tube to mine.

Going to Dynamic!!
Sounds like the trip was very well worth it. Now if he will just open a shop on my side of the country and start building 6 speeds then I could make the trip too.

If you could go back in time when your truck only had 63K miles
If the miss is following the injector I would have to agree with your diagnosis.

Dead peddle & death code
It would help to know the other codes. Also it would be good to clear and see what comes back. Another thing that would help is to know some more about your truck and any mods that have been done. That would be best put in your signature and would appear below all of your posts so all can see what you are working with. you can do that by clicking on your name in the upper right hand of the page, then account settings and you will see "signature" in the left column. While the 216 code has the nickname "death code", that is not always the case. Not a good sign but not necessarily the end of the pump. Do you know what kind of fuel pressure you are running or know what fuel system you have?

Front end noises
I have a mystery clunk in mine, had it for a little over a year now. It bugs but i dont have much time at home to dig into the whole front end. Getting due for BJ's myself, Figured I would dig in deeper then. The 35's you are running wont help with the steering. At best the steering lacks something to be desired when the truck was new on stock tires. Mine came with 265 75's on it and I never could understand why I did not get pulled over on suspicion of DUI. I rebuilt my front end about 150k ago and tightened up the steering box a little and it has actually been pretty good since. Did wear out one track and had change it but the rest is the MOOG I installed on it. Since the noise was there before your rebuild and is still there, it would lead me to believe you need to look elsewhere. The sloppiness could easily be the tires, especially if they are old.

Control arm bushings?

Front end noises
By sloppy do you mean play in the whee? How is your steering box? Might need to tighten it up a little.

Np 241 dhd temp
I would think it would get hot enough not to be able to hold your hand on it for long. Even 140* is tough to hold unless your hands are used to it. as far the temp it should I dont know.

A cool thing happened today

Location of g-115 ground on my dodge
Here are the wiring maps out of the article section. Hope this helps. Not sure which system the g-115 is in.

Fuel module gasket
If it does not appear to be damaged, ie cut, wrinkled, or the like I would use it again. I had mine off for the first and only time about 7 years ago and it is still holding just fine. Could have been replaced by Dodge about 10 years ago when i got the intank pump. I dont know for sure but would think that would have been part of the kit.

A cool thing happened today
Just to add to that a little, I have had my problems too. Big ticket, ECM, tranny,VP, in tank fuel pump(one of my favorites). Those and along the way normal wear tear things like, clutches(one premature), wheel bearing, ball joints and other front items. That list can go on. I dont think I have spent but $2k a year on it since I paid it off in early 07 to keep it mechanically sound. That does not mean when I take off for my next job something might fail, things wear out. Just something you have to deal with. Be nice to have another new truck but what I want and what I feel I can afford are two different things. Another little thing to add for those that have children. Be they young or be they old they still say the darndest things. The other day I was talking with my youngest son, 40 as I remember. I told when my time came he was going to drive me to the grave in this truck. His response was, " It better be running good or I am going to tell them to dig a bigger hole". You gotta feel the love with that one. Maybe I will get lucky and have one of my grandsons feel a little different on that. One of his sons I hope!! Him and I did share a mighty big laugh on his statement though, so all is good.

Slight rant about auto forums
Back in 09 when my ECM went I turned to forums for some info to help me figure out what was wrong. CF mainly. The 2 favorite answers I got was "clean your grounds" or "search". Searches ended up with nothing or so many threads i could not read them all, much less tell what was good or bad info. No body much wanted to talk about it. In fairness I have since seen how hard it can be to diagnose a failed ECM and good advice is still a little hard to come by. That is when I found this site and people willing to talk to me and help thru some issues. I never agreed with the " just search " answer. You can get overloaded with info. We are still seeing people buying there first diesel pick up and they are second gens. I never minded helping some one with a problem thats been beat to death because I remember all the help i got when I went thru the same thing. They are just learning like we all once did. Just my way of paying it forward. Let em come is what i think. They are welcome.

Intercooler
I took a quick look. Just never saw how much came with it. For that kind of money it ought to come with some kind of bonus.

A cool thing happened today
Now to get the AC working again. The wreck last month punctured the condenser. Got a new one at the house. Be nice to see 500k before I retire but dont really want to work to work 4 more years if I dont have too. March of 2019 is the goal, but we shall see.

Fuel pressure goes up on Accel?????
Pretty interesting stuff, fellas. Learned more about pumps today than I knew to start with.

2001 5.9 dies p1698
How is your fuel pressure? The OE usually comes with the bell crank assembly and cost a fortune. A timbo apps is a much better replacement and only about $170 IIRC. I think your problem lies elsewhere, How does it work with the cheap one you mentioned earlier?

2001 5.9 dies p1698
How dirty are the tops of your batteries? I have been experiencing some surging issues for the past while and was reading voltage across the tops of them. I cleaned them up and no more surging. For couple months so far. Also it seemed every time i had the batteries disconnected for what ever reason the surging would stop for a couple days or couple weeks. Not sure whats going on but cleaning the battery tops helped immensely.
