  1. We may never meet, but I would be the third if we did. Welcome to the farm.
  2. Welcome, definitely laid back here. Just the way I like it.
  3. $3.29 for regular gas and $3.84 for diesel around here.
  4. One of my front wheel sensors set the brake lite on mine. I would defer to mopartechnician on the frequency of front or rear being the most prevalent.
  5. Not all codes will set the cel light, even with the number of them you have. Spin your rear tires and you can set the 500 code, does not mean the sensor is bad. Clear them, drive the truck and see what comes back.
  6. I would have to agree on a loose connection or ground. Is the ground wire from the PCM to the firewall still intact?
  7. I thought Clydesdales were made for pulling Budweiser!!!!
  8. I think you hit the nail on the head there.
  9. Happy belated B day, Mike. Very glad all is returning to normal at the hacienda.
  10. Welcome to the forum. Vulcan Performance is who UD is speaking of. Very good source and great folks to deal with.
  11. The low pressure fuel lights I am familiar with dont come on until 5 psi or below, that is why you are not seeing the light come on. I dont think the wire gauge should be a concern though someone else might be able to confirm this. I just wired some gauges that the leads appear to be 18 gauge and the only wire I could find was 16 gauge. All the gauges seem to be operating just fine. Your pressure numbers are very low and I would suspect it is your oe lift pump. An aftermarket lift pump would be highly recommended.
  12. Have you ever seen any fluid change intervals? I cant seem to find that either? I have been changing mine around 70k+ and the fluid does not appear contaminated. Darker in color is about all that is apparent.
  13. Coldest I have seen was -25* with a wind chill of 40 to 45* for about a week and a half in Wilkes Barre PA. That was cold enough for me. My plumber worked every day jack hammering dirt that was frozen like concrete just to rough in a slab. Had Chevy gasser that he came by and jumped off for me every morning. That Chevy did not like cold weather.
  14. I would definitely talk to them, mine was not a flash problem it just did not work. My oe went out with no 606 code. but the first one I received did not work and spit out a 606 code, freshly rebuilt and flashed. The case however looked like someone had pried it apart with a screw driver.
  15. I have done a fair amount of looking but cant seem to find what the syncromesh is, GL4 or 5 or what. My 96 5 speed to auto tranny fluid as I remember.
  16. Are you sure it was a new one, I am thinking reman. I would call ACE, you might have a bad one. I went this route with my ECM, after 2 tries and about 8 weeks I got one that worked except for cruise. It crapped out about a year later and now it is a paper weight. I dont know that is the issue, but I would be suspect.
  17. Praying for a speedy recovery for the both of you.
  18. You got a whale of a deal there compared to the asking price.
  19. Welcome to the farm. Try starting you a thread about your problem. You will get more looks in the forum and some advise.
  20. A picture is worth a thousand words as they say!!
  21. When you take the turbo off you will see what Tom is talking about. It is divided into a front and rear at the outlet of the manifold.
  22. They came both ways. You might look on the door inside of your glove box and see if there is a sticker in there that tells you what you have. There is on in my 02.Another way is to get on the highway and in 6th gear you ought to be around 2000 rpm at 70 to 72 mph depending on tire size. I run 265 75r 16's, with 3:55's
  23. If you could put it in 4w lo you would be even more amazed. Can't imagine how low it is with 4:10 gears instead of the 3:55's. You wont need 1st unless you are pulling said stump or hauling what ever.
  24. I have seen folks say anywhere from 350 to 450. I didn't weigh mine but i did rent a cherry picker and had a dolly and a floor jack. Couldn't convince any body we should just pick it up, me included.
  25. I had a family gathering when I did mine. Grandsons, son, brother, and it was my wife's size 5 shoe that nudged it in on the second try. Clunk and it mated almost perfectly. Still, having the behemoth raised that high under the truck was a bit unnerving on a floor jack.
