  1. We'll just throw a party until we forget.
  2. Shoulda told me sooner! I'll bring beer over haha
  3. He's been staying with me a while now!
  4. Ever had those days where life seems to be against you? That was my yesterday when I managed to rear end my own car! Thankfully, no major damage was done since the truck rolled forward 15 feet, but on the other hand... Like seriously??
  5. If I were to stay with a single, I'd probably leave the current turbo I have. Plenty of low end torque due to the .70 housing, and has plenty of top end power. That's approximately where I am currently (not dyno proven). It's plenty of power, but @TFaoro has corrupted me so i'm going for moar.
  6. See, I never had an issue with cavitation when my return was as pictured above (both stock locations used as returns). The cavitation issue I was chasing turned out to be a faulty water separator. Now that I ran the 1/2" return right to the top of the basket, I only have cavitation at the 1/2 tank mark.
  7. Bayes is a power guru and you should listen to him, but I'm gonna share my experience with a S362 and an APG housing. I've got a secondhand S362/68 SXE from Smeding Diesel with a 14 cm (.80 A/R) nongated APG housing. The turbo itself has been great. The housing, while it has a badass turbine whistle, was slow to spool and the downpipe flange was machined just slightly under HX40 size, causing a leak. I recently went to a 12cm gated housing (as of a month ago) in preparation for compounds. Then life got in the way, so compounds are on hold. Here's my thoughts: at the time of me deciding to go to compounds, I had both a 62/65/12 and the 62/68/soon-to-be-12 at my disposal. I sold the 62/65 on the thought that the 68 turbine wheel would give me just a bit more top end in a compound setup. I'm running 7x0.0095 injectors. Now, I could be way off base here, but based on how hard the 62/68/12 pulls as a single, my thought would be to get the 68 turbine wheel for a bit more top end. @jlbayes, how far off am I? lol
  8. @notlimah that picture was pre- 1/2" return install. The new return line goes deeper into the basket, and I do notice some slight cavitation at the 1/2 tank mark. (though 1/2 tank on the gauge for me is about 25 out of 34 gallons). I'll see if I can get a test done this weekend sometime.
  9. - I don't know of a case where a DS was removed to alleviate air induction issues. I do know of a few people who did run their return lines down to the bottom of the basket to stop the fuel from foaming. - I raised the bed on my truck. It was easier for me, as I have a short bed, but the things you gotta look out for are the filler neck, and I also have a gooseneck, so there are extra steps for me to lift it. (pic related) - I didn't replumb the return line and I have had no issues so far.
  10. Because all VP's are angery.
  11. Been coming out of a slump, and this particular song has been great help
  12. So it won't show me when my NV6500 manuel trans enables lockup???? D:
  13. That's the main reason I want them. Good to know about the visibility!
  14. My main concern is my ability to transition from the little corner blind spot mirror to an independent, full length convex mirror... but I do need a replacement set, so what the hell lol
  15. I thought I had heard some Indian company started recasting those style valve covers....
  16. It's a three prong flat plug with only two active pins in it. Or at least mine is like that...
  17. Looks good! do you like the 4th gen style mirrors? I'm thinking of getting a set but I'm still on the fence yet.
  18. Actual picture taken of Nick on his way to go camping....
  19. I put my pedal to the floor on every shift, so that's a non-issue. Maybe a new set will help with the longer pedal travel before full engagement I've been seeing? Napa hydraulics on a south bend dual disk for him. Hence why I'm going to copy him again
  20. Having worked for Advance Auto, Carquest's new owner, I'm gonna shy away from anything carquest haha. Seen wayyyy to many failures. And I can guarantee they're fakes. The reason I'm going Napa is that @TFaoro used Napa's set and he has had good luck with them. He and I have similar clutches, so that's the main pull. And I was planning on replacing the whole system @Mopar1973Man
  21. I was under the truck today for other reasons and turns out my slave cylinder is leaking! I know they're easy to replace, and relatively cheap at NAPA, but has anyone else had this happen? Seems so strange for the slave to start leaking, but then again the truck is mad it's been sitting...
  22. There were multiple mentions of selling it after this incident....
