Proper Final Ratio
Here’s what I would try on your timing. Fuel load 2-3 Reduction 4-5 scaling 50% Light load cruise 2-3 roughly about 20-21 degrees total 1500- 14 2000-18/19 2500- 22/23 3000- 27/28 max -30 As been said your tire size is hurting your load %. I keep my truck in drive up to 55 - 60 mph. At 55mph my EGTS float around 550-600 on level ground. Rpms are about 2,100. I want to say my load is about 25%. Anything much above 55 mph I turn the over drive on. My brother in laws 02 has rv275’s and an HX35. I’ve got his canbus starting around the mid 90’s. Still blows black on take off and under lower psi boost. I need to cut more.

Proper Final Ratio
IMHO, every truck is different but you’ve left a lot on the table with that tune.

Quad Turbo Timer
Mine is set at 350 as well.

16" Wheels suggestions?
I’ve got both. And as far as having an auto I’d still recommend both. My EB opens back up at 30 mph or about 1,000 rpm. I can drop into second and first with the EB on. That helps more but having nothing but brakes when it shuts off especially when an idiot in a car cuts in front of you the bigger brakes definitely helps getting stopped. The amount of pedal pressure to stop is significantly less with the 3rd gen. As far as mileage I’ll never hit what Mike can. As far as weight my short bed is lighter than his long bed. 🤣

It had to happen
Sorry to see and hear that. I hate dealing with insurance companies. You pay late you pay an additional late fee or they cancel you. But when it comes to do what you’re paying them to do they take their sweet a$$ time.

Costco diesel here was $6.79. Some places are over $7.00 now.

Turbo/Injector balance for towing/EGT control
Mine is no slouch just running canbus fueling.

Turbo/Injector balance for towing/EGT control
When I bought my bone stock truck I was told the transmission had just been rebuilt. That’s all I knew about it at the time. Once I got home I pulled the inspection cover to find a billet converter. Brand idk. The only thing I’ve done to it is a Dynamic valvebody. And a lockup switch. With all my mods it’s held up fine for several years now. My pump isn’t tapped because it was under warranty. At this point not really interested in it. I don’t want to have to replace a head gasket or drivetrain components anytime soon. The only real towing it does is our travel trailer that dry weighs 6,000 lbs a few times a year. I’ve towed up grades any where from 7%-11% doing 55 mph.

@Mopar1973Man what was your average speed?

Looks good man! What’s the life expectancy of wrap?

16" Wheels suggestions?
I have to ask, what is the difference in the 2nd gen to 3rd gen brakes? Sorry, to lazy to look it up this morning Bigger pads and rotors in the front. All I did was get 3rd gen caliper brackets, pads and rotors. The calipers are the same.

16" Wheels suggestions?
Food for thought. If you picked up some 17” wheels you could upgrade to third gen brakes. Made a huge difference in stopping power for me.

Turbo/Injector balance for towing/EGT control
I’m running a hybrid I pieced together. Between that my injectors and a Quad it lights fast and tows like a mofo!

New water pump for the RV?
Mine did the same thing and filled the fresh water tank. Replacing the pump fixed it.

Max boost only with WG hose pinched
Welcome aboard. Looks like you got a nice setup there. If pinching the hose works I would put an adjustable boost elbow in. Then adjust it to what you want.

Where'd Everybody Go?
I don’t look down on success either. It’s the American way! My issue is the majority of these now corporations are ran by libtards. They donate millions to the democrat party. The anti American way party. Oh and don’t get me started on the RINO’s! Sorry off topic

Where'd Everybody Go?
I know without this site and the knowledgeable people on here my truck and my brother in laws would not be as reliable and perform nearly as well as they do now. Any business that isn’t profitable can’t stay afloat. I look at it this way. I remember all the mom and pop stores that used to be around. You knew them and they new you on kind of a personal level , like Mike here does. Now with all these chains stores. They have put them out of business. And that personal level is gone. They can’t give the price breaks that the big chain stores can give. Just look at Walmart. I hate to go there. And I rarely do. I know I can call Mike up on the phone with a question. He’ll answer or call me back. Try to get the CEO of Costco to do that.

New injectors on the way.....
Slippery slope! I foresee a Quadzilla in your near future.

First time towing with new setup.
When the fuel ignition faze happens later less force is pushing down the piston because the exhaust valve is opening forcing that pressure past the turbine thus the turbo spooling faster. With my truck it does like a little more timing. My guess is the slip with the converter and my higher pop pressure on my injectors. My first 10 psi of boost on my truck is 100%. Little to no smoke. As far as the exhaust valves burning unless your holding over 1350 EGTS for a long period of time there is nothing to worry about.

First time towing with new setup.
There are a few things you can try incrementally to see if the truck likes it or not. max load offset 2 or 3 Low psi reduction 4 or 5 I watch the timing when I step on it. I don’t let it drop below 12 degrees. Scaling 50% Your 1500 timing I would move to 15. Once you get that dialed in I would try adding fuel on the bottom end until you are happy with the take off/ turbo spool while keeping the smoke under control.
