I would confirm the W-T mod is done and done correctly. Clean all grounds and get the other battery in. What brand sticks are you running? My truck idles smooth with no haze. Have you checked for any codes with a scanner?

My brother in law and I are talking about heading up to Courtright in the spring. Its up above Shaver lake I believe. It’s dry camping and first come first serve. Supposedly able to park down close by the lake.

Had a cord of mountain oak delivered Saturday. Cut and split already. I don’t think I’m going to ever get a chance to use my new Echo 590 chain saw. It’s still early in the season. I’ll find something to cut. Probably do a snow run sometime after thanksgiving. Getting our first rain of the season today and tomorrow. Started our first fire and drinking a glass of wine.

Just replaced my drivers seat foam with @Genos Garage durafoam. Wow what a difference! So much more comfortable. I sit a little higher now. More leg room. Was easy to replace. If yours is worn I highly recommend it!

Yes that would cause a hard start. For now I would just try tightening the bolt.

Stay safe! This week we’ve been between 104 -113. Today is supposed to hit 107. Tomorrow will drop down to 88. I’ll take it! Mid 90’s to high 80’s is in the forecast next week! Even showing our low temps in the upper 50’s.

You should be very happy with that setup. My hybrid spools quick and tows great no regrets. Your SXE should outperform mine. A good tune will make it a beast.

Heading back home today. Been camping at Oceano state park. Highs in the mid 60’s lows mid 50’s. God I love the coast. Did some deep sea fishing out of Morro Bay. Won jackpot with my catch. 18.75 lbs. Been here since Friday. Going back to the valley to 102 degrees. Supposed to reach 110 by Sunday. 😢 The day of our rib off at the lodge.

Supposed to hit 106 in the valley today. A typical August day. By October we should start seeing some cooler temps.

You should have gotten some low rpm bucking out of that for sure. High timing and low rpm is hard on head gaskets especially under load. Quad recommends not going over 20 degrees below 2,000 rpms without head studs. Maybe the PSG isn’t calibrated right or maybe something is wrong with the quad. But that’s above my pay grade.

@Mopar1973Man So even though my fuel pressure gauge is showing 15 psi no fuel is coming back from the return? Sorry if I’m be redundant. I put the return line into my filler neck thinking I was doing something good. I actually never looked down the neck to confirm any return flow.
