  1. Looks great! We’re looking to upgrade in a few years. Once I retire.
  2. I started taking the rear loom apart. I decided to stop. I went up to the plug under the drivers fender. Tested there. Nothing seemed out of sorts. Took the plug adapter off my trailer brake controller. With the trailer plugged in and the trailer lights on I got 7.5 volts. Applied the brake 12.3 bolts. Key on truck off. Scratched my head. Unplugged the trailer. Only had 12.3 when applying the break. No voltage with the lights on. Hmmm. Truck must’ve fine. Decided to buy a new trailer plug. Still had power to breaks when the headlights came on. Sooo I started looking at new trailers. 😍. The wife shot that down. So back to diagnosing. Decided to disconnect the green trailer light wire from the trailer . Everything worked like it should. Then I decided to just tie in the trailer marker lights. Everything worked as it should. Tied in the tail light’s problem popped up again. Thought there must be a short in the trailer somewhere. I remembered back in November I put some cheap , in Presidents Trumps voice , made in “China “ LED bulbs in. Took them out and put the stock bulbs back in and believe it on not everything Is working properly now. Because of those cheap *** bulbs I had to replace all the brakes on the trailer. and Rewired the trailer breaks. So be careful where you buy parts from. Been trying to figure this out for months. After I replaced the breaks last month everything was good. Heading back up to Roseville halfway there I turned the headlights on and oh crap. Finally just cut the blue wire to get there. For the trip home I wired it back up and left early enough where I wouldn’t need lights. Glad I finally figured it out.
  3. Yes I have a plug adapter that connects my break controller to under the dash to the factory plug.
  4. I’ve got to take my trailer plug loom apart. When I turn the running lights on the trailer breaks engage.
  5. Check this place out Minton Motors inc. a salvage yard. Nothing but Dodge trucks. I believe they ship. I tried adding a link and it’s not showing up.
  6. I don’t remember. I replaced mine with a cable actuator. Hook them up. If it doesn’t work swap them. Not going to hurt anything. There is a diaphragm on the passenger axle that engages it.
  7. Those are the vacuum lines that engage the ,CAD, front axle.
  8. No. It plugs into the map sensor and the comport in the engine bay. There is a couple more but those are the main two.
  9. It’s due this November so 2021. The Quad intercepts the signal from the ECM. Then changes it to the injection pump. Nothing is changed in the ECM. If they see it I’ll unplug it. Should still pass the smoke test. They sure have been sending all my vehicles to star only stations.
  10. I put my stock air filter assembly on when I smog it. My Quad is hidden and passes with it on. My injectors burn clean. My first 10 psi is set at 100% fueling. Don’t even need to run it on valet, So even if I had to take it off to pass there shouldn’t be an issue.
  11. Do you have to take that off when it comes smog time?
  12. I changed mine out one at a time. Then I retorqued them after they were all installed. I don’t recall having to lift the cab or anything extra to replace the back studs. It’s not said to do it in the instructions but after a week of driving I did a retorque to 130 ft. Lbs. Also relashed the valves both times.
  13. Welcome aboard!
  14. I would also get the needle valve. That way you have full control of flow. Also if the line or sending unit starts leaking you can shut it off till it’s repaired. I’d drill the probe on the back three cylinder port. Don’t drill in the middle. The port divider is there.
  15. Merry Christmas!
  16. Very likely. Bad grounds on these trucks will make them do all sorts of weird stuff.
  17. I would confirm the W-T mod is done and done correctly. Clean all grounds and get the other battery in. What brand sticks are you running? My truck idles smooth with no haze. Have you checked for any codes with a scanner?
  18. Costco last night was $5.39. Last fill up was $5.79.
  19. IMG_4201.MOV Ran across this today.
  20. Happy Thanksgiving!
  21. My brother in law and I are talking about heading up to Courtright in the spring. Its up above Shaver lake I believe. It’s dry camping and first come first serve. Supposedly able to park down close by the lake.
  22. Posts must be down because this site is so good everyone’s truck is running great! I know mine is!
  23. Had a cord of mountain oak delivered Saturday. Cut and split already. I don’t think I’m going to ever get a chance to use my new Echo 590 chain saw. It’s still early in the season. I’ll find something to cut. Probably do a snow run sometime after thanksgiving. Getting our first rain of the season today and tomorrow. Started our first fire and drinking a glass of wine.
