  1. Thanks @JAG1 $67 on summit. Looks like I’ll be buying a set. Did you get the center piece to?
  2. Anyone have these in your truck? If so do you like them and can you post some pictures? Thanks!
  3. Happy New Year!
  4. Merry Christmas!
  5. I know a little to late but about a year or so ago I added a small fuse panel and running a 5 amp fuse to power the Quad. I don’t know if that would save the Quad from a jump start or battery charger but it’s better than nothing. Also I can pull the fuse if need be then reinstall my tune.
  6. Been to BridgePort once. Years ago. Beautiful country! Ya maybe depends on when in the spring you guys go.
  7. Great idea! If time and finances permitted I’d love to meet up with some CA members. My goal also is when I retire in a few years. Is for the wife and I to travel the states. Mostly the red states. I’ve had my fill of the blue ones.
  8. I’d just clean both ends of with soap and water. Let it dry. Then put some adhesive silicone on the part that came off and hold it in place with some masking tape till it’s dry.
  9. I’m sure the “New green deal” will be great just like every other democrat plan and idea! 🤪
  10. I’d add more fuel on the bottom end. You should be able to start your canbus fueling closer to 100%. Unless you are having a lot of black smoke off the line. Load psi I’d change from 1 to 3 as well.
  11. We need some wet stuff to fall around here. Been pretty dry.
  12. I’ve been running Dap injectors for awhile now. No complaints. Truck runs great!
  13. Had to zoom in on my phone. Late night eyes. Lol Try load timing 2 low psi 5 scaling % 50.
  14. Post your tune. If there is little to no smoke add 1 across the canbus fueling until takeoff and smoke is acceptable.
  15. I put 5100’s on mine a couple of years ago I don’t remember what I took off. The truck did ride a little rougher. What has helped with softening the ride for me is when I’m not towing I put 60psi in the front and 45psi in the back. I also took the rear sway bar off when I installed the Timbrens.
  16. I just purchased from Geno’s the Gates tensioner with green belt combo. Pretty cheap compared to around here. The tensioner said made in Turkey. It’s actually my second tensioner. The other one made in China didn’t last long. It started chirping. Especially when it was cold. No more noise now. My truck has 271,000 on the clock.
  17. The Quadzilla will get its boost reading from the ECM from the comport. From what I understand it’s not to accurate. I’ve never compared the two. The EGT probe is only necessary if you’re using the defuel or turbo cool down feature. Your apillar fuel pressure gauge is best. As well as the rest. That way you won’t have to run with your head unit on all the time. As far a building a tune you would go into settings and tap on custom tuning.
  18. I was told you adjust it so your 1-2 gear change at WOT is between 2,800-2,900 rpms. That’s how I adjusted mine and it works fine.
  19. Does the WTS light come on as soon as you turn the key on? Have you tested for AC noise? Have you done the W-T ground reference mod?
  20. Mine did the same thing after I installed a 5 amp fuse. I was in town though. Dropped in the 7.5 that you recommended. Haven’t had another issue. That was probably a couple years ago. BTW thanks! Glad it was a simple fix. Those are my favorite!
  21. Take off from a stop. Towing. Not a power brake. Lol For me just regular driving. I’ll rephrase. My normal take offs and in town driving is much better at 15 degrees timing than 13. My timing band is 15,19,23,27 max 30. Light load 2*. With winter fuel with more ceatane I will drop 1* on each band and see how it runs.
  22. Interesting. Once I went to 15 mine quit bucking in drive cruising at 30. With my EGT’s around 400. Now in OD I would still get some bucking below 35 But around town driving I always have OD off. Less load and lower EGT’s. With my smaller tires For testing purposes I’ll have to try with OD on.
