I would have to agree. Nvidia is more stable as far as drivers go and if you are using the computer for gaming Nvidia has better ray tracing then AMD also. If the rumors are true and you can get a 4060 for $329 then it would be worth the wait to get a 4000 series card. Current speculation for release is Sept this year.

Most GPUs are back in stock now and not at scalper prices. The next gen GPUs should be coming out in the next few months or so also.

Thanks. I am really into computer gaming so I like to have the best. I get discounts on CPUs or else I wouldn't of bought the 12900K. I would of gone your route and got an i5 or i7 and just OC'd it. I wanted a good video card for my games so I can run them all on maxed settings so I put most of the money for this build into that. I got it from EVGA, also at a discount (b-stock).

You are correct. Thats what I do. I have Boost, Fuel pressure, and EGT A-pillar gauges so I dont use the phone all the time. @Stanley You dont need to use any of gauges for tuning. The only thing you will need the gauges for is if you want to use the defuel setting for EGT or sensor warnings. Also if you want to use the cooldown setting in the quad you'll need the EGT probe connected (if you want to use temp vs time for cooldown trigger).

It comes with an EGT probe and trans/oil temp sensor. As far as a display, you just use your phone or a tablet. You can download the software to your phone or tablet now and check it out. You dont need the Quad to check out the software. You could even add a custom tune to it and have it ready to upload to the module once you get one. This is what I did.

I dont know all of your info like if you have a family, do you have any health issues that you need to rely on the benefits, but I would say if you have nothing keeping you tied to your current job then go for it. Life's too short to be unhappy. Get after it. I also worked at Monkey Wars (Montgomery Wards) in my younger days. I was working there when I graduated from ITT (Pittsburgh) and got hired at my current job, that was 21 years ago...

I get a slight haze when started and first put into gear (I run with grids disconnected). Once warm no haze. I also get no smoke unless I get on it with the quad turned up and then only a puff of black then away I go... When I first installed the 7x010 injectors I was worried that if I lost my quad that the truck would smoke like a train but driving around normally there is little to no smoke with the quad on 0. I have no lope and no issues with these injectors. When I bought mine I did new bodies and new cross-over tubes. I wanted to ensure I had zero issues after installing and so far so good.

Kind of hard to dispute those results...
