  1. I'd put my money on a bad/loose connection. That type of connection cause high resistance and high resistance causes heat. The higher the resistance, the more currant to overcome it, the more heat.
  2. It's called Annett's Mono Village located 13 miles west of Bridgeport, CA on the eastern slopes of the Seirra Navada mountains at 7100 feet. I've been camping and fishing here, with a group of people, since 1994. When I found out that Jag1 comes here the same time as us I invited him to join the gang. We have a great time fishing, hiking, target shooting, metal detecting, sitting around the campfire at night tell tails. Anyone is welcome to join us. https://monovillage.com/ A view from the campgrounds On the other side is Yosemite National Park
  3. Yes, now I know who it is. She's no twit. She's making a living on the Eco bandwagon.
  4. Same thing here. In California we pay the highest gas tax and fees at $1.19 per gallon and now the local county government wants to charge 4-6 cents a mile use tax and increase the sales tax 1.5% over the next 3 years to fund their mass transit. Yes, they want us out of our vehicles. Who's the Hobbit schoolgirl?
  5. The Communist Chines are doing it. They jumped ahead of the U S and got the rights to mine rare earth elements from the governments of third world countries. They have zero concern about the environmental impact. They will use and do whatever is needed to make the most money to fund their GDP. That's why here in California there are rolling blackouts, The Government asks us to "Flex your power" and turn off appliances, air conditioners, and car chargers during high demand times. It's close to the same thing they do in a third world country. You and I will contribute like good little cogs. It says so in the New Gree Deal. Drive the tractor and trailer into a compony charging station that is strategically located along the trailers route. Remove the depleted tractor, attach a fully charged tractor and repeat at next station. It will be like what the Pony Express did with horses.
  6. We need to explore the realm of space so that Mars can be colonized, then the human race can be saved when climate change wipes us out. The weather on Mars is lovely this time of year. In space no one needs a vacuum cleaner.
  7. They got what they voted for.
  8. When the people unite and tell these Progressive/Marxists, parading around as Democrats, "no more" and vote them out. Anyone who voted for Fool Biden and Chuckles Harris should be ashamed of themself for being duped by the Democratic prelection propaganda. They didn't tell the truth then and, surely, will not now. But wait! Is that a glimmer of hope on the horizon? Yes, we're saved. The price of gas dropped 2¢. What did you except when you have a couple of clowns as "leaders of the free world".
  9. It's okay...the corn was grown in Iowa. That question got me thinking. If the first Chinese Communist Party’s Coronavirus, AKA CORVID-19 virus, was the Alpha (Α) variant and then the next that we were told about was the Delta (Δ) variant and now we have the Omicron (Ο) variant What happened to the other 12 Greek lettered variants. Does the World Health Organization deem them not a problem and if so, why not? My research did find that the Omicron variant was supposed to be the Xi (Ξ) variant, but it could be mistaken for the Chinese Communist Party’s president Xi Jinping and they couldn't have that.
  10. It's hard to believe that this is in The Smithsonian's new FUTURES exhibit that asks "when we'll see 'single global government'". https://justthenews.com/nation/culture/smithsonians-new-futures-exhibit-asks-public-when-they-think-well-see-single-global I wonder if they will have a contest naming this new "global government" and what would the prize be; a small concrete module with a light bulb and running water? I'll make the first naming submission, "Hand Basket", because at this rate our government is going to hell in one.
  11. But do they make a better product? Maybe. It is still best to do research and get recommendations like what is found here.
  12. I have a HX35 with a wastegate and a manual boost controller and see 28-30 psi.
  13. It's an AUKEY Dash Cam 1080P FHD from Amazon but they don't have it any more. I'm thinking about getting another one that will record both front and rear.
  14. I've been using a dash cam for over 10 years. I'm on my third one. It's cheap insurance.
  15. You can try Google "2002 dodge ram 2500 diesel fuel lines". Here are a few places that have them; didn't see them at DAP. https://www.scheiddiesel.com/engines/dodge-cummins/dodge-5-9l-cummins-98-02-24-valve/fuel-lines/ https://www.moparpartsgiant.com/parts-list/2002-dodge-ram_2500-quad_club_cab/fuel/fuel_lines.htmlhttps://puredieselpower.com/dodge-products/2nd-gen-24v-98.5-02/injectors-and-fuel-system-3/fuel-related-parts-2 https://www.ebay.com/p/1127609779
  16. The fuel pickup sits just off the bottom of the tank, so if full or at 1/8 the pump is always sucking off the bottom.
  17. 2001.5 and older have drum brakes; 2001.5 and newer have disk brake pads with separate parking shoes. If you go to Rockauto you'll see both rear drum and rear disk brake parts listed for the 2001 Ram trucks.
  18. Here's an article about installing a fuel pump relay. https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/59_fuel/installing-protective-lift-pump-relay-r501/
  19. With a production date of 2/00 it most likely is a 2000 model year but for confirmation check the VIN with the Dodge parts department. 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 4X4 left parking brake cable part number 52009697AA. Google search "2000 dodge ram 2500 parking brake cable 52009697AA" turned up a few places that have it. I also found it at Rockauto, Raybestos' number BC95818. If the truck is a 2001 then the part number will be 52013007AA.
  20. Welcome to the forum. Seeing that you put a fuel gauge in may have introduced an air leak into the system and caused fuel starvation. You can check if there is fuel at the VP44 injection pump inlet fitting when the starter motor is engaged; if so then "crack open" the fuel lines at injectors 3,4, and 5 and see if fuel comes out of them when cranking.
  21. I still have the original apps on the engine but keep a spare Timbos under the back seat
  22. It's for engine off brakes. You get one shot wit power braking if the engine dies going down the road.
  23. How about doing something like this first? https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/12-valve-2nd-generation/axles-suspension-brakes/diy-hotrod-power-steering-pump-r381/
  24. I redid mine keeping the factory radio and wiring, replacing the front speakers with 6X9s and 5.25" rear speakers, cut the wires to the A-post tweeters and added a Infinity Primus 6004a Compact 4-Channel car Amplifier — 60 watts RMS x 4. I did have to add connectors and wires for the amp. @Red Ramblerdid something similar but i think he change his radio head. Picture of the booster under the drivers seat
  25. A 2.0 liter four stroke gas engine running at 2000 RPM intakes 2000 liters of air per minute. For a one tenth of one percent (00.1%) per minute of H₂ addition to the air charge 2 liter of hydrogen would have to be produced every minute. (RPM/2 · displacement) · .001 = H₂ needed for 00.1% enrichment
