  1. If you have long hair you stay far away... right?
  2. Show us the BHAF to go with it please
  3. AH, I stick with the Bosch testing that presents itself with evidence. Have you seen any testing on what you are using? Also my 12 valve around 450 K miles on same engine, being that the engine is a bit more basic I think sends a louder message that it responds well to adding the two stroke, more power, better bottom end torque, better mileage. The engine simply comes alive when adding it.
  4. How do you plan on getting the score value back into the proper range and not causing premature wear? Do you have another product that has a tested result on scoring values?
  5. Let me know Joe if you don't like it, I need some more culvert for my driveway.
  6. Cool pic. Like ole man winter doesn't want to give up. BTW, the waterfall above is Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. Most fantastic waterfalls in Oregon are in Silver Falls State Park. There are enormous caves behind the falls. Caves the size of shopping malls and you can walk behind the water falls. There are about 8 waterfalls like that there. Amazing place.
  7. I just came thru northern California and it looks like all the evergreen trees made it but most of the deciduous trees are dead till you get a little ways further into Oregon.
  8. OPPS Thanks for the correction there boss.
  9. Mark you being down there in Texas heat means you should use 2 cycle all the more. For as long as everyone has been doing it I've dumped in a full qt. per fill up. Might leave an ounce of residual in the qt bottle so I'm not standin there waiting for every last drop, but, I reuse the same qt. bottles every time. I found some with good caps and threading to hold tight when stored behind the seat. I'm not yelling but want to........ Mark please get rid of that K&N Filter. That is the worse thing on a Cummins.
  10. I made a 14 hr run yesterday from down south. Couldn't wait to get away from the fast pace. Saw two close calls from speeders. They think it's like watching television. Two guys in diesel pick ups stomped it up the steep grades. Went by like they thought something was wrong with my Cummins cause I stayed behind. I just enjoyed how nice it was to be driving thru the mountains and planning my next destination.
  11. I think one of the worse situations is if a wreck is around a bend and your all alone with no one else to help slow folks coming. Better get the flares out fast. I once witnessed a head on at nite the occupants got out but each turned off their tail lights I immediatly yelled out to turn them back on but it was too late another car carreened into the rear of the wreck. Be careful you guys, those folks who walked away with turned off headlights were not very smart but me telling them to turn them back on could have been ever worse. Either one could have been hit walking back to the car. It is the heat of the moment that can cause a bad decision with things happening too fast around you. So always think about what is happening.
  12. I noticed down south they now have a watchman just to watch over the crew from the traffic going by, if anything isn't right he will yell out to warn them.
  13. Standing on a bridge over the falls. There is another pool behind me with a waterfall that is twice as high. Here you can see the bridge I was standing on with the falls below. Anyone know what it's called? JoeCool I know you know no spillin' the beans
  14. I'm glad your on high ground. Saw heavy rain and hail today. It woke me up. It was really hammering
  15. bump head many times ...... I do the same thing
  16. I was just kiddin' ya' Joe. Had to say something... you know this client did not get where he is with that boat on entittlements
  17. I've had grayish white smoke on my first gen for about 200,000 miles.
  18. They only take Rednecks that vote the right way Joe.
  19. I believe her name is Betty Boop created for cartoons in the 1930s or 40's
  20. Wild and Free, that was a client that invited me out on his boat, around the San Juans and up the inside of Vancouver Island. We went to several Canadian harbors that are very small tucked away places. It's amazing how folks live on these small islands.. they aren't in a hurry that's for sure. Dave, Nice grandkids. They are so precious and more than a boat load of fun. Yes it's nice to see a face finally and not a giant chicken.
  21. Thanks Dripley for the write up, interesting how you found it by accident. I had a similar problem on my first gen when it had it's first 200 k miles. Mine was only snug, not tight and showed resistance from dirt and corrosion. Michael that grounding connector you are showing.... mine was not a very snug fit when I would pull it apart ea. time. I didn't like that on the electronic equipment so I chopped it off and soldered the wires together and put marine grade shrink tubing over it. Not saying everyone should do that, I just like good connections.
  22. Yes, thank you for the update. I can tell you are dedicated to doing it the right way. I would like to go see this truck sometime when finished
  23. Great post IBM. Makes me want to go out and smoke'm
  24. Okay that reveals how I don't follow up on the news very well . I'm glad they did do that at least. They are Americans down there at Apple then. This why I think we need to lay off about half the government. They've had an expensive easy ride for too long. They're just like crooks taking more and more, all the while telling us how they are perfect saints.
