Shocks for 2001 with 2" leveling kit
Sorry about the off topic. KYB mono max shocks makes a set that is specific to our trucks with a 2 inch leveling kit. Will, they are in my opinion, better than most all the rest.

Shocks for 2001 with 2" leveling kit
Yes mike I had to do all that and still was not right till I installed the longer end links for the sway bar. Then it needed a more expensive puller cause I couldn't get them off even with a big FAT hammer and heat

Shocks for 2001 with 2" leveling kit
Mike is right.... It cost me a lot of money to get my front right after a so called' simple 2'' level kit. It was worse when I'd load the back of truck and I'd get this major squat... so then it needed air bags to make it right. Oh man what a lot of money. That doesn't even count the time to recenter the steering wheel to 12 o'clock. That took a few hours. Recentering the differential to the truck chassi had to be done because of the vibration that felt like the front was going to fall apart. Just don't do it.

KYB Mono Max has what you are looking for. I've got them on my two in. level kit truck. You just have to order the fronts for that longer reach. KYB's are a very good shock.

Pressure washers
Thanks to all you guys. I got it taking in the soap this morning with the lowest pressure tip like you all say. Some walls are black with box elder bugs. I'm gettin' them suckers today. Update; Waited till just the right time and killed millions of those bugs yesterday. Great satisfaction with the pressure washer. As they'd try and fly off I could put a big cloud of mist in the air and watch them drop. Two thumbs up to this site.

Pressure washers
Thanks Mike it's a matter of putting on the lower pressure tip on the gun wand then. I do have lower pressure tips like that. Hope it reaches cause it makes a great sprayer too. I want to use a new treatment on my log house that is borates. Like a borax soap, it kills mold, bugs and arrests any potential wood rot organisms. Owning a log house sure is special. It's a bit more work but with a good PW makes it easier.

Pressure washers
Sooo to get it to work you guys are sayin' that I need to use a lower pressure nozzle. Thank you MnTom, It looks like I need a high pressure soap injector to reach up high like I need. I will talk with the folks I bought the PW from. Just talked with a friend of mine and he says his never worked either.

Pressure washers
Anyone know how to get the pressure washer to pick up soap to go thru it? Mine has the attachment for dropping the soap pick up tube in a bucket of soap and water but won't suck the solution in. I found the check ball and spring backwards and fixed it but still no soap going thru. Is there some sort of different attachment besides just dropping the feed tube in a bucket of soap? Seems like it needs a pump or maybe cut the check ball spring so it's not closed off so tight. Just want the best set up as I have a log house and need it to pick up bleach, soap and wood cleaners. I also have a box elder bug problem real bad this year and the soap kills them. Pressure washer is like a commercial sprayer if I can get the soap thru. Thanks for any experience with this kind of thing. Mike

Updating Dodge Computer
It is difficut to be positive when every time I go to a dealer, I've gotten screwed. It's like watch out what they put over on you. Quit thinking about just giving your money to them, get out of there and get second opinions, do more research. I'm sorry mopartech it's been that way because of past experiences.

Looks like I may have lost ANOTHER Vp-44.... looking for options and ideas
Not sure but, if you can file a claim in your state that's another plus for you since it would cause him to have to travel. I would think making the claim in Arizona would work since he sent the VP and written warranty to your state. The excessive ac noise (house type current) as opposed to dc type current affects computers and sensors if it exceeds a certain level due to noise from the Alternator. This often occurs when diodes start to go inside your alternator. You need an expensive volt meter to test for it as most cheaper ones cannot detect it properly. A Fluke volt meter is real good... you hook up to the back of the alternator, the big lug/ wire on the back with positive test lead and the other test lead goes to negative on the battery. Setting the volt meter to AC house current and starting the engine. Watch wires , your hands and everything else that can get caught in the belt. It's dangerous is why most guys just do the test at the two battery posts instead. AC should read no higher than 0.1, if that is correct. Hopefully someone will chime in and verify this.

Not sure on this but, you might be able to file a claim in your own state making him have to travel there. Another plus for your side, esp. if the warranty was issued and the VP was sent to your current state of Arizona.

Lope at Start up? VP44?
Mine started doing that on a long trip heavy haul so I let it idle in neutral for about 10 seconds before putting it in gear. If I could let it roll first that seemed to help stop the stalling also. Problem went away on it's own eventually. I understand that neutral gets the trans fluid pumping throughout the trans better when not underway.

Lope at Start up? VP44?
Two trucks that lope at Idle........Have you guys checked for tank vacuum when removing the fuel caps? After a run remove the cap to hear for any the hiss or air running into the tank. How about the screens in the tank and the other small canister shaped plastic screen filter in the module? Have you cut those things out yet. Sounds like a fuel delivery problem like fuel pressure bounce sort of like water hammer in piping if that applies.

JOE, you have it in writing the he would cover you into the 13th/14th mo. You should, at the very least, file a small claims complaint against him if he won't honor his written contract with you over warranty. That's fraud and in a fraudulent case you are eligible for punitive damages beyond what the VP costs you. I think you should tell this guy you have him over a barrel or else.... Also tell him you are going to blab his tactics all over the net if he does not do what he said he would do for you that's in witting. However, wherever the new VP comes from, you also want assurance that it has a new PSG. Assuming that means the small electronics on top of the VP. This guy has probably gotten rich off his b.s. and needs a wake up call. Have you checked the ground connection that is behind or near the starter motor? I just heard about that one. Plus check for continuity on the alternator ground thru the mounting bracket. Just shootin' from the hip on this....

Have you kept the 2 stroke oil in every tank? I have been running on the 0216 code for about 3 years now and carry an extra VP and tools in the truck. Still, I hope it doesn't leave me in a bad spot someday. I noticed other drivers are not slowing down when you close to the side.

Positive Thoughts about America
I think the first thing would be to print new money that expresses our military might along with our willingness to fight against evil for what is good and right. The new money would easily pay off the old debts and give us a fresh start. A clean slate because we are the strongest mightiest most Godly nation (caring for others) in the world. Not worshipping wealth, building palacial homes and expensive cars to show off, but helping to develop good governments, good economies throughout the world. This would help stop the influx of illegals since in their own country, they can get on their own feet with jobs and a path to strength. Just think of the number of people getting out of the drug business because of great paying jobs that would help develop their own country. One of the reasons we have a drug problem in this country is because of the peanuts for pay jobs that do not cover a car payment, fuel and insurance. Worthless pay for working like a dog is hurting our war on drugs

Positive Thoughts about America
All this negative talk about how much we are borrowing, about how the dollar is not backed by gold, Fort Knox being empty..... We have something better than all the gold in the world, think about this.....if we keep up with advancements in technology for our military forces and it's equipment. Protecting the rest of the world from evil factions, that we are already somewhat the worlds police force. Just think how the American dollar can remain strong on that basis. Anything valid here? If the rest of the world looked upon us as their great protector and having the greatest advancements in weaponry, why would a strong country such as ours ever fall into a position of an unacceptable and devalued dollar on the world markets? I think about this because it is worth far more than gold or worrying about debt. If we need to borrow to keep such a valuable country alive and strong what is the worry? Our dollar will always be valued and accepted. Now if we could only do a better job of keeping our technology secret along with an expediency toward coherent strategy that's not always blabbed all over the news.

Replacement Alternator
I just go for new only and think that the Nippon Denso Alternators are best. changed mine over to a new ND and the AC voltage/ noise is very low. I never go for rebuilt as I can save more time not exchanging rebuilt alternators. Plus a book I have explains all the shenanigans that rebuilders try to pull with their tactics. There are many shortcuts they can take in the process.

Close call... paint can... toxic fumes
My 80 yr old mother fell asleep in her easy chair. She has a small house cat that used to be a ferrel cat. It kept jumping up on her lap which is nothing unusual except the cat kept batting at her face till she finally woke up with a very sick feeling. The smell of natural gas was throughout the home. Fortunatly my mother was able to get outside and call the gas company. They found a leak in the gas line behind the kitchen stove. Animals never fail to surprise me. I'm glad you were able to find the source of the fumes before it resulted in a bad situation.

HELP! Electrical Issues with my Raptor 150 Pump. I''m Beat
This is interesting. Are you saying that you are now wired to the battery with a relay that is activated by the old pump connection from the ECM? Or is the pump wired directly off the battery with a manual switch to activate the pump?

Thanks wild and Free, I put that in favorites

Annoying squeek in steering column starting to get to me
I know your kidding..... I would like the straight thru piping Bart but, I live in this very quiet area with nothing but dead end roads. Folks love the peace around here...all end of the road kinda' folks. Even though we are farther apart due to acreages we all enjoy, the canyons and hills seem to make everything echo or reverberate around here.

Doesn't take much to effect 47re
Stop by my place Joe if you don't have the right volt meter. I'm only couple miles off the main drag.

Update on my 47re mod
I know very little on the subject..... Is it possible to damage a trans if you forget to turn it off at the right time or say turn it on at to low of rpms?

A less than good experience w/ Cummins parts and some needed part #'s
I find that it's the type of people they hire now a days. They probably feel it's too much extra effort to help someone that requires more work than the normal. I got a lumber yard that goes out of their way for me and even though I know some of their pricing is higher I still support them due to their service above and beyond.
