  1. @Mopar1973Man and @JAG1 I agree with you both. It really disappoints me seeing how this country has been on a downward spiral due to politics. They're ruining the country in a power struggle but the ones that will ultimately pay in more ways than just money are us. The American people. It's all kind of embarrassing, with the internet we are on a world stage and everyone can see how we are all being manipulated and controlled like a bunch of sheep to be used as pawns in a political chess game. I'm very angry over the whole thing personally but what can one person do when the majority doesn't even see it? All we can do I suppose it prepare for the worst and hope and pray for the best.
  2. I have yet to hook to our camper to see if I can even remotely see around it. I doubt it though. 29 footer
  3. Sh!tshow is right, I can't watch the news anymore other than maybe the weather ( and they're wrong half the time to ) it just angers me. Disgusts me and generally makes me sick.
  4. That could be possible as well. I'm sure someone might chime in.
  5. If I'm not mistaken, isn't the synthetic oil supposed to hold it's viscocity better than dino in wide temperature swings say from summer heat to winter cold for those that do a 12 month oci?
  6. Unfortunately, sooner or later this will probably turn into much more bloodshed. A civil war or sorts. The government is putting the people against one another through the media. It fuels the race issue with high octane racing gas and it's catching fast. It won't take much to cause an explosion. What we've seen so far will pale in comparison. Sad to see this country go that way.
  7. I won't "push" amsoil here. I don't know what they offer for diesels, I'm not a dealer either but I do use it in my Harley. It seems to help keep engine temps down some and on an air cooled v-twin that's a plus. Transmission also shifts smoother with it in and same for the clutch. I recommend it to guys I ride with but in that case I have personal experience with it. Not the case here.
  8. I never really checked my yearly milage. I would estimate it at about 15k.
  9. I'd be nervous waiting 87k for an oil change!
  10. Be careful out there. It's a strange time in this country. You never know what's around the next corner.
  11. Nice tip! I've had wax and compound get on those textured handles before, could never get it to come off.
  12. Beautiful scenery!
  13. Right, and due to the recent increase in ammo prices, there will be no warning shots. Lol
  14. I am also concerned about what may be going on in the background right now with everyone distracted by all the civil unrest. The government tends to take advantage of situations like this. All eyes somewhere else so they can do what they want.
  15. Well thanks to the media in general you only hear if the things that will cause the most social damage, fuel the racism or somehow cause a disruptive action. That's what they do. If everyone of every color would just have some courtesy towards each other and stop being hung up on their own color and just be human things would be much better. We all know that won't happen though.
  16. I am watching this thread until I understand where Blueox01 is coming from and going with it. No disrespect Blue, not sure what ya mean here buddy.
  17. Yes he will. It seems to be the norm with these groups of protestors. I understand why they're upset, I don't blame them. I don't understand how rioting and looting promotes their cause. It's just stupid and it isn't all of them. The bad ones get it started and it just grows from there. Sad that Americans think the best way to get attention is to destroy America. It all sickens me and I will be keeping my distance from any of it.
  18. I like the old school decal. Looks good on there.
  19. That's the rout I'm taking. I'm gonna try to pick up a battery load tester in the next day or two and check the batteries. Now that the batteries are back up to, or should be up to full charge again I might try to hook up the breaker again to see if it still trips. It may have been a result of me leaving the key on overnight causing a severe draw to recharge once it was started. We shall see.
  20. I have a few vehicles in my past is love to have back! I think we all probably do
  21. Mine are disconnected at the moment. Wouldn't be the grids at this point.
  22. I looked at the batteries, they're dated 2014. 6 years old so it's probably about that time. As for the PCM, I haven't done it yet but I want to put a dedicated fuse online for that as well. Only bad thing about buying a used truck that's 19 years old. Alot if catching up to do on maintenance and preventative measures to avoid other serious problems.
  23. That's a good point, the batteries are getting old. The date sticker is still on them. I don't remember the year off hand though. Plus I've been wanting to get a battery load tester anyway. Nothing fancy but with all the tractors and other machinery around here it would be useful.
  24. So today I had to go to my parents house to do some work for them, had the truck loaded with the tools and materials I needed, noticed that I left my keys in the ignition. No big deal, I've done it before but, this time I left the ignition on some how. Started the truck, cranked just fine and fired right up. Volt meter was down a bit, comparable to as if the grids were on ( they're unhooked at the moment). Figured the batteries would charge on my 25 minute drive. I made it 1 mile and "check gauges" lit up, voltage now at 8. Checked the 150amp breaker, it was tripped. Reset the breaker, tripped again. Went back to the house and removed said breaker for now. Running late had to go. I don't know if I should reinstall the breaker now or not. Also, why would the alternator put out so many amps to trip it? Aren't the alternators (I assume mine is a stock unit) rated for 140amp output? Thanks for any thoughts. Btw, the breaker I am referring to is one I installed after doing the WT ground mod.
