2nd Generation Dodge 24 Valve Powertrain

Hey so i got a 98.5 auto 24 valve an have been putting off for way to long the issue with my tc! Several months ago it stopped locking up and so I replaced the tc lockup solenoid on the valve body, and adjusted the bands while I was in there... didn't fix it!... so I took it to a dealer an had them hook up their code reader and they told me the lock up solenoid needed replaced and I had just replaced that so that made me think it was a wiring issue. And now lately whenever I turn sharp right the oil psi gauge on my dash goes to zero and the check gauges light goes on an then when I turn back straight it goes back to normal.... any similar issues? Fixes?

Are the intake and exhaust pushrods the same dimensions (from factory)?

Ive done the Wiring Mod and that cured my surging issue for 6months. 3months ago I had to park the truck since the HydroBooster went out and ive had bad experiences with part store boosters. So I ordered one from mopar that took forever. I finally got it going again today and it started surging immediately I tried doing a apps reset with no luck. I went ahead and ordered all new cables, terminal ends, and batteries to try to remedy it. Is there anything else I should try while im at it?

Does anyone know what is the wattage for our map sensors I’m guessing it would be around 1/4 to 1/6

I recently tossed the automatic and installed a G56 manual in my 98.5 short box. Love the trans but now I have too much axle wrap. My rear springs are on the soft side because I took a leaf out of each side to improve ride and offset it with a pair of coil springs. I have had traction bars before, on this truck and two previous trucks. Each set sucked. The last set I paid something around $700 because they were supposed to be good and beefy, but the heim joints quickly wore and rattled and clunked like mad. . .heims at both ends (bad idea and not quality ones at that). When i start my truck it has no throttle response (dead Pedal), I let it idle for about 5 to 10 minutes, turn off truck and restart throttle response returns and it runs great. I have replaced the Throttle position sensor and still has same issue. I have tried to check for AC noise but don't have the right tester, i have removed the 140 alternator fuse and it still has same issue, next stepp is to remove alternator and have it tested. Any other option would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Yes folks after 175000 miles and many of them with an edge set on kill and the last 10 k with a set of 100 sticks. Its toast. I can not complain at all. Its all original looking to me and even the converter is NOT a billet one. So here is my question. I can get a low mile bilt trans from my buddy that wants to put in a 5 speed. Or I have found a 2013 48re that has just 3000 miles on it. Truck was burnt in the cab and insurance wrote it off. Can one of these fit in my truck...should I even think about this at all. Hey guys, just replaced the tappet cover gasket on my '01 and it started up fine but I have no throttle response at all. I just unplugged the batteries to try the apps reset but curious if maybe I missed a connection somewhere? has anyone had this problem before? thanks!

My 01 just dies when I put it in gear...starts in park fine and idles great in park and neutral but as soon as I put it in any gear it dies...any ideas? Torque converter? Maybe a sensor?

I’ve got a friends 2001 Ram 2500 that run rough, dies and doesn’t restart but this is intermittent. It will run fine for miles before it starts acting up. There was no check engine light but I checked for codes anyway and it had a P0320. I graphed the injector pump timing with my scan tool and the timing showed to be all over the place. Truck has 179,000 on it, original injector pump but has direct replacement FASS fuel pump on it. It also has the original crankshaft sensor. Questioning whether it’s the injection pump or the crankshaft sensor. Any ideas are appreciated. Thank You.

Sorry to bother you guys again, I just don’t know who else to go two, after a long year of not having a motor in my pickup I finally got one in and running! Truck is an 02 but i put an 01 motor in. Runs great in stock form but the problem is i hooked my Adrenaline back up and when the data link portion is plugged in and you rev the truck up it spits sputters and blows blue smoke, unplugged it runs normal kinda lost dont know if the box is messed up or what but it worked perfect before the last motor gave out and it reads voltage egts and fuel pressure fine but it also dosent read boost anymore which i think could be a hint as to what isnt making a connection??? i cant fo…

My Adrenaline box has the V2 2.7 beta software. My tune pages look much different than the standard V2 (more detailed it seems). Can I update to the newest software without a cable and computer? I'd love to run some of these tunes I see but the iPod the beta software is on won't connect to the internet anymore. I wrote a basic tune using Quadzillas website as a guide. It works better than the crazy tune that was in it which you can't look at settings. If you select the arrow to make changes it boots you out of IQuad. Thoughts?

Ok so I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins. It just randomly started revving and trying to turn my rear wheels and Rolling coal when I was slowing down to stop. It happened when I got down to about 10 mph, and the revving caused my truck to shake very aggressively. I also noticed it was shifting to early (my truck was shifting so early, I was already in overdrive by about 48 mph?? Any solutions/ suggestions? Thank you for any help you can provide

I bought a 2002 cummins recently. There is a wiring harness that runs under the fan shroud. The fan shroud is broken and the wiring harness got cut in half by the fan. I am trying to splice the wires back together but there are about 5 wires that have an exact duplicate color so I am not sure how to differentiate them to get them spliced correctly. Can anyone help me with any info on splicing them back together?

I have a 99 2500 4x4 with a quadzilla tuner and air dog. Today on my way to work my cruise just stopped working, my air bag light came on and it spitted and stuttered a little. When I went to leave work I bumped the key to engage the pump and no pump and no start. I have always had to wait for the wait to start light to go out before starting and always had a hard start. But this just has me puzzled. Could this be my ECM or is it somewhere else?

I have scraped and cleaned. Can't seem to find the elusive needle grease fitting. Were some driveshafts released without them?

Last night I was doing some stuff and had the door open. Got back in, shut the door and the interior cab lights wouldn't turn off. Also didn't hear the dinger either. Hey fellas back again with a question for yas seems how this seems to be the only place to get any 24v info but The issue that I am having is this weekend at the dunes i was driving around and had bad terminals truck wouldnt start monkeyed with them long story short forgot to tighten nut that i had 12v power going to quadzilla. drove fine and then i shut it off... when i tried to start truck first thing the key was backwards all lights on dash lit when key was off and got a constant noise from fuel system relay when turned on nothing i unpluged tuner from fuse block in cab(engine fuse 9) and just plugged normal fuse in and all was normal just wouldnt roll over after plugg…
