I installed a new set of injectors and bled the lines. It'll fire up. Running rough though. When I hit the gas pedal I get zero. Check engine light is on 3 key turn read offers me these clues. PCU P0122 + P1693 ECU P0222 + P1693 Update got the throttle back, fixed itself, let it idol and now it seems to be running smooth. Error codes still in play.

All right, I ordered a new set of RV275 injectors and feed tube o-rings from DAP. They will be here tomorrow. I got all my old injectors pulled today. It was actually fairly easy, I had figured 5 and 6 were going to be a pain but they weren't. I can return my old injectors for a $100 refund but I was thinking about keeping them for a spare set. I decided to go ahead and take one apart tonight, and noticed there were two washers inside the injector above the spring? I've never taken one apart before, but isn't there only supposed to be one washer? Do you think the second washer has something to do with pop pressure? Injectors wore out? Also, just to make sure I hav…

I have heard that their is a mod where you can trick the map sensor into fueling all the time. How does one go about doing this I’ve heard you can throw resistors at it or a buddy of mine told me that you can put that sensor under a certain amount of pressure tricking it to fuel all the time. Does this work? If it does how much hp could you gain? Will the engine check light come on? If the resistors do work how do u go about doing that. Really any info will work. Really looking for info just on the 2 gens.

I have a 2001 dodge 2500 5.9 cummins 4x4 with an auto trans. When I start off in the morning I have to wait till the heat hand moves to leave the drive way. If i start off before that i have no power or speed. The truck does no smoke, use oil, or have any codes. It is not cold outside in the morning about 70 degrees f so i don't believe it needs pluged in. after it hits 190 degrees it runs strong. I am also fine all day as long as its driven ever so often. I did put a new lift pump on it and didn't help. Need help please...Thanks,

It rather suddenly became obvious I have a gear selector issue, very sloppy trying to select a gear. Any suggestions? I looked in the Parts diagrams, looks like perhaps a retainer fell off? No leaks. Bolt "#21" in diagram is there and tight. Photo of internal shift portion from Moses Ludel writeup. Is it possible/likely that clip he shows is my problem? KVID0021.mp4

I need some help! I just installed 7x.011 DFI injectors, I currently have a quadzilla with custom tunes as well. After I installed the injectors I’m getting a surging only when I press the clutch in to come bring the truck to a stop. Idles just fine no issues, no white smoke no ungodly knocking sounds. Idk what the issue is. I reset the apps after injector install since I unplugged it to install them. This surge happened with and Edge EZ as well. Can anyone help me narrow down the issue? Also no CEL codes. I should add this is 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 has approx. 181k miles.

Yea, I think so lol Not sure if it was a loose connection or what but I'll be ordering a new one. Sad part is this was replaced less then a year ago so unless it was really a loss connection (aka my fault) kinda sucks but I'll talk to Genos and see what they can work with me on. Theres no fuses I need to check right? Needless to say, check your connections often or use lock washers lol

  9. Hey all, I've tried everything I can think of and I can't resolve this issue. My 2000 automatic won't start because the lift pump (raptor 150) won't turn on. I had only 3000 miles on it before it suddenly stopped working. So I checked my ASD relay and my fuel system relay, both were fine. So I unplugged the pump and bumped the starter and checked voltage with my multimeter. Got a healthy 12.3-12.7 volts. So I figued the pump was bad and got a new one under warranty. When the new one came in, the same issue continued. I figured maybe there was some glitch and the ECM was telling the motor to defuel because the check engine light with p1693 came on when it stoppe…

HeyDriving today on highway - and around 60mph the truck starts to 'buck' gently like its missing fuel ?? Pressure gauge says 14 @ WOT and 16-17 regular.Me and ISX just put the old injectors out and put the oem ones back in (for the stall issue). It doesn't idle rough or appear to be missing (assumming missing in a diesel would sound like a rough idle/egnine etc). Not sure - Might stick some 2 stroke in it tomorrow - could one of the injectors be plugged/partial blocked ??

Hey there I just hooked up an OBDLink to my 24v and noticed some strange boost readings. At idle I’m getting 12.4 and at full throttle about 22.4. Is this the app not reading boost correctly or should I be checking my map and wastegate? It’s an 01 HO

  12. Hello, I am about to install a Air dog 100. I have purchased a big line kit from vulcan performance with the tapped elbow. So I can run a a needle valve and connect a grease gun line to it then to the electric fuel sender. I know alot of people by pass the filter heater cannister. How do you think it will perform. I know there will be another filter in the mix. I read a post on another site on a install like that. In the post the user cut the filter and used the o ring from the top of the filter. Any opinoins will be appreciated. Thanks,John

Looking to get a little more power, probably all I need is a little more boost. Anyone know anything about Turbosmart wastegates? Another option was a boost fooler but heard mixed reviews as how much they actually do. Also was looking at upgrading Turbo, Borg Warner makes a drop in K27 that it says has better low/mid range response. Not sure I want to upgrade to more performance electronics like Quadzilla or Edge. Any suggestions?

Hi All I am trying to help my friend who just got his truck back form someone that borrowed it and returned it in less than IDEAL Condition. 1999 5.9L 2500 2WD When you go start it (it will start) but then just REVS to very high RPM. We were able to borrow another computer form a local 99 5.9L and it didn't do that and acted much better with the swapped ECU. Locating an "affordable" part seems to be a pretty big issue. I think I am able to locate a 2000 ECU for a fair price. But form what I understand it will need to be programed by Someone to make it work with the 99 correctly!? Ebay Link: http://www.ebay.co…

  16. Before I lay down big bucks for a FASS or Airdog I decided to give the Herko fuel lift pump a try. 1998.5 Ram 2500 Cummins 5.9L 24V. The Herko pump Installed pretty easily. I had to grind one corner off the mounting plate on the pump to make it fit. My stock location is left rear of engine block. My Herko pump did not come with the 90 degree adaptor for the fuel line from tank hook up. It is not needed. I was able to clip my stock fuel line on to it no problem. The rest of the details and psi readings are here in the video. Yep a FASS or Airdog is likely in my future. We'll see how this Made In China Herko pump holds up. I can monitor it with my gauge. I will carry …

I have an airtex lift pump and it has been great. I changed my fuel filter last night and went to bump the starter and got nothing. My pump in the past has always run after bumping the starter. I got the truck running and the fuel pressure was fine: 18 PSI idle, 14 PSI cruise, never below 12PSI. I have stock fuel lines so it is going to drop a little more than bigger fuel lines. Any thoughts as to why the fuel pump didn't run when I bumped the starter? Would it be some sort of relay issue, computer issue, or just fuel pump issue?

  20. Hey guys. I'm at my uncles this weekend and he says he had a programmer that changes tire sizes. I have been wanting to do that for a bit so I said sure. I didn't even think it would try to tune my truck also. I have my comp box in the truck as well. I set the tire size and went for a drive. It felt like the the timing was all over the place!!!! I turned the comp off and it seemed to smoothen out but I have a serious power loss now. I tried to get back in with the other programmer to erase all its settings and now it won't recognize the truck. It says that it's not the original vehicle. This programmer is a smart chips "micro max" tuner. Obd II plug in. I have to drive 20…
