Ok guys here it is I got this code after I plug the OBD II scanner tool on this truck I just bought. The previous owner told me about this problem , when the truck is running at speeds of 60 o 70 the pedal wont respond and the speed goes down and I have to lower the speed by braking or putting it on neutral and then it will respond. What do you guys think?

So, since I have installed the mopar1973man blowby mod, it exits right at the front differential on the driver side. I was wondering what normal blowby looks like. Does the outside temp. have any influence as well? My dipstick says its at the top of the full line still, but the differential looks wet like I accidently dropped some oil on it. It does not accumulate enough to the point that it drips on the ground though...

  5. Good Evening, I am wondering if anyone can tell me how they like the ATS copilot on there truck and how you basically use it towing? ATS website doesn't really go in depth about it. The 3500 in question I am thinking of adding the copilot to has a recently built Suncoast transmission with billet input, flexplate and Dynamic transmissions hauling valve body. Trying to see if it is actually worth getting and trying it for my company for towing purposes. I also ran into some posts on Firepunk Anteater. Does anyone have any input or have one that can share some input on it? Thanks for your time, Steve

Have been gradually losing fuel pressure, adjustment screw didn't help, so figured maybe filters needed changed. No difference! Tried to call pure flow, left some messages but no one called me back. I finally got ahold of someone yesterday, (no call back cause they were getting ready for big diesel event) anyway, he told me to check inlet screen and get serial #. I was a little concerned as I thought warranty was 1 year. Screen was clean so called back today. Dummy me, never sent in warranty card! They said "no problem"! Used serial # to find date of manufacture, and fortunately pump has 2 year warranty. They're sending me a new pump today! YeHa! Hope this isn't a y…

Does anyone out there have any information at all regarding H-Pumps on a 24v? Fit, cc, build specs etc. There was a guy over on CF who got a hold of one a while back but the project never went anywhere. I really haven't seen or heard much about them so just curious if anyone has any information on them.

  8. Hello, new to this forum and it looks great, I was told that I could find a downloadable manual for my 99 dodge here, I am able to do my own work just looking for the info to do so and sounds like MoparMans the one in the know. Thanks

Hi guys, I want to know if I can tap the hole in the hy35 housing where the metal hose goes for the wastegate. I want to put the elbow that come with the edge jwa for increase boost?? Does it work or I'm better with a j-hook to increase boost?? Second question. For my 2001 24v automatic, does this vp44 pump #BOSH 0470506005 ---- #CUMMINS 3676670 fit directly on my truck or I need to get another key for the shaft?? If its bolt-on right with no problems?? I found one near. guys want 500$ new and said its for 1998-1999. It's a close enterprise ... Thank you

  10. I took my 2002 HO cummins with the 6 speed manual transmission to the dealer the to have the 3 and 6 cylinder high idle enabled . They said it was to warm to try it but said it was enabled . I've had a chance to test it in -18C, or 0F. Nothing happened after 10 minutes. I called them and they said my remote starter and alarm probably isn't letting it work. Has anyone else ran into this or heard this?

  12. Ok gang... I got my next task at hand. Got up this morning and had to run to McCall to do a bit of grocery shopping and when I fired up the engine I had a strange growl/howl that was unsual. Went shopping and returned home and figured I would check it out. Pull the belt and check the tensioner bearing smooth and no wooble, water pump feels good, and the fan bear is good. But get to the alternator rough and howls when spun. Assuming I found my source of noise. I know Prowelder did a write up of a alternator rebuild on CF.com http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/98-5-02-powertrain/257771-bosch-alternator-rebuild.html Also I know he got parts from Fixinrams.com http://…

  13. Well fellas, I can now officially call myself a dumb@$$!!! I made a very stupid mistake! As y'all now, I'm installing an engine in a guys 6.7 Dodge 2500 because of his neglect and stupidity! Now I'm having to tow my own truck in. He apparently doesn't realize that these trucks run off diesel fuel.... he ran my 98.5 3500 24 v out of diesel....and drive it 60 miles with it spitting and sputtering!!!! He calls and said hey something's wrong with your truck... I turned in my driveway and it bucked hard and died!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead: I asked why didn't you call me 60 miles ago...his response was I knew you were busy working on trying to finish up my truck a…

Looks like my NV4500 trans hashed itself. Looked online, saw Midwestern and SP Precision. SPP has them on sale + a lower core charge. Anyone use either of these places?Any other rebuilder recommendations?

  15. I already did the track bar about a year and half ago, but it's time--- Probably way beyond time, for ball joints, tie rods. I got almost 1/2 inch slop up and down in the outer tierods. yep.. I get the goody out of stuff.. So, looking at components from moog. outer tie rods (2) the inner tie rod to pitman, and the connecting bar from that TR to the main drag link. Might as well throw in new connector sleeves too. Then might as well do the ball joints too, Moog again. I'm only going with the standard non offset type. anyone know why they offer 'adjustable' camber +/- 1 1/2 degree? ...the offset do have an advantage I suppose, the uppers are greasable, whereas the …

If its not one thing its another. With the help of you guys finally got the obvious issues resolved with my white beast. Now however about a week ago the truck started producing a new quite loud sound when I let up on the accelerator. Hard to reproduce in letters but sort of a "whirrr" or "rurrr" noise that starts the moment I take my foot off of the fuel pedal and continues until the rpms drop. The harder I am accelerating when I release the pedal, the louder it is. I do not hear it when I am accelerating but at that time the exhaust noise may be covering up the sound. I don't notice any driving issues (truck seems to be running normally) and no check engine light,…

Owners manual, didn't want to wade through entire 60 page manual, (unless I get one) Question...Can I use this in my 2nd gen most of time but also move it to a different car when I want? Or once you program it for a certain vehicle, that's it? Question...Do all the features advertised work on 2nd gen's or do only show some, because of (age, or type of vehicle)? Question...Would you buy another? If I'm going to get something like a Quadzilla someday , is getting scan gauge worth the money? don't some features overlap? Thanks

I know its been asked so forgive me, but I have done the Moparman mod and before I took my truck to the body shop I got maybe one drip of oil from the tube after 4 months with the mod. However after I got my truck back it drips after every trip. Just a small drop. I did the blow by test and it Is perfect. Is this normal or something I need to look into? Thanks guys!

So I have a 1999 24 valve all stock no tuner.. and I can start the truck and it fired right up and it will idle around 800 or so rpm and when I hit the throttle it will idle at 1100 and at highway speeds the truck will buck and if I let off it’s fine until I get on the throttle again I just replaced tps/apps and set the correct voltage and done the pedal thing the map and iat sensor are showing they work on my scan tool but no codes I’ve only owned the truck for a couple weeks and the vp44 has a sticker on it and it looks brand new all my ground are good but idk what to do.....
