So as I was walking down my driveway today, I happened to look at my truck to see it sagging towards the driver side. So I just double checked my sanity and grabbed a couple levels and put them on my bed and sure enough it was leaning over towards that way. Next step, I measured the driveway, and believe it or not the driveway "leans" towards the passenger side! So I measured the tires, front left to front right and so forth and sure enough on the rear driver side tires, they're over an inch off, whereas the fronts are 1/2". Also I might add, when I step up into the truck that leaf close to where it connects to the front shackle creeks pretty good, and its easy to rock th…

Ok, here is my issue, I recently wrecked my 2002 Ram 2500 H.O. 6 speed and totaled it out. It only has 97,000 miles so I purchased a 1999 3500 with Cummins and an auto tranny to put my motor and transmission in. I have completed the engine and transmission swap and all is well....almost. The cruise will no longer work, the light won’t even come on in the dash. It worked on both trucks before the swap. Here’s another known problem, the 1999 truck had the vacuum actuator under the driver’s side battery for the cc and the 2002 cruise control is all electronic controlled. I used the pcm and ecm from the 2002 so I didn’t hook the vacuum actuator up as the 2002 di…

When rolling up my driver's side window, it'll start to chatter about half way up, or right when that leading corner hits the weatherstripping. Has anyone else experienced that? Do I get some silicone lubricant in there? Or replace the weatherstrip?

Hey all, I have a 2001 24v and a few months ago i started noticing the throttle acting weird / revving up and letting off on its own a tiny bit when cruising around 55mph, I would then put it on cruise control and wouldn't notice it. Then the other day I noticed after driving on the highway/ with cruise control I'd get off to get fuel and the truck would be idling high around 1k until I shut it off and re start then it would be fine. Finally on the trip home I was running 70mph with cruise control on and the cruise control cut off and the throttle went unresponsive and threw a check engine light. I did the key thing to get the codes on the dash and got p0500,p1693,p0121,p…

Hello all. Sorry I havent been on much lately. Just been so busy with work and moving again. Anyway, I noticed the other day that my old cummins is extra rattly, especially during shut down. It almost has an extra thump-thump to it. I cant tell if it is just something loose under the hood or internal engine. I am very much hoping for an easy fix. I have a couple videos I took of it. You can definitly hear the extra rattle as the engine shuts down and a little bit of the thump while its idling. Video 1 This video has a loud thump at the very end but that was just my phone hitting the dash as the mighty engine slows down. Video 2 Hope the videos hel…

Seems like everytime I try and give this truck any love or attention she gets all crazy on me. We make up eventually and it can get wild, but sometimes she loses her stuff. Oh wait, we're talking about trucks? So I was trying to continue to work on it, performing the center steering adjustment, when the key would no longer turn, in the ignition! I feel like I've tried everything to get the dang thing to turn but it just doesn't seem to want to happen. I took the ignition switch assembly off the column and tried to work on it that way. Still, to no avail, I cant get the key to turn. With a little more research, I tried to get the lock cy…

Went out this morning to go eat and as soon as I backed out of the driveway, brakes started going away. Pulled back in and fluid was gushing out of the frame near the front of the fuel tank. Huge rust out in the hard line. Tried looking up this part in the lookup tool but couldn’t get it to work. Anyway, besides going to the Dodge dealer, what is the best way to replace this line? It attaches to the front distribution block just up under the master cylinder, the ties in to another block on the axle with a rubber line. Need to find a shop I guess with some long solid lines. 3/16” I think.

Everything is back together but I have two problems. 1). The blend door is not working, with heat temp turned all the way up, I only Get cool air. I know the little spring loaded door was reinstalled correctly, and the vacuum line that goes through the firewall is connected and working because all air is directed to proper vents and after disconnecting the vac line that goes through the firewall, only the defrost vents work. Which vac line control the blend door? Any ideas?2). My fan only works on highest speed. Thanks guys!Eric

A/C blows the receiver/dryer off the evaporator connection, I thought at first it was building to mush high side pressure due to fan clutch seized and condenser beat up not getting good air flow, but those have been replaced. Just went to start truck after it sat for 20-30 minutes and it blew again, when it's working air blows ice cold. Was going to put gauges on while not running to see if pressure equalized between high/low sides but that will have to wait.

This is my passenger side brake hose. I guess my question is, a.) anybody had this happen? Did I hit something? On full lock it’s rubbing a metal line. B.) what would you recommend I replace with?

Hello, I have an 01 24 valve with no heat or Ac. I don’t really care about the AC, but would love to have heat. I have replaced the heater core and the thermostat, but still have no heat. When I used to try to run the heat, I would end up with a puddle of coolant on the floor. I’m not sure if the coolant stopped leaking after I replaced the heater core, simply because there was already so much on the floor and I’m afraid to try it again since I just finally got the carpet dry. Either way though, still no heat. I’m thinking it’s either the blen door or vacuum line, but would like a second opinion. Thanks!

So this morning I installed an adjustable overflow valve and finally got my fuel pressure back in check. after finishing I took my truck for a test drive. As soon as I got to the end of my road I noticed my ABS and brake lights were still on. I pulled the emergency brake handle again but they still stayed on. The truck does run or stop any different then it did before. I did some searching in a bunch of forums and have read countless threads on this same problem. I first checked my wiring running from the RWSS Along the frame. It was chaffed through the protective loom but not through any of the wires. Then I ran up to advanced auto and picked up a new RWSS for …

Ok guys I been known to ask some Jerry Seinfeld questions ..... but I just need to know for sure... My filter has been on the truck atleast 60k miles. I've washed it the proper way... I don't normally put air pressure to it... but I decided to just to feel how much air I would feel passing through the filter.... I pushed some air from the inside out and could hardly feel any air going thru the other side ... I been having trouble getting above 25lbs of boost lately ... and I want to rule out the air filter .. .. any input on this is greatly appreciated
