2nd Generation Dodge Non-Powertrain

A friend of mine came across a brand new, in the box, Borgeson Model #800120 quick ratio steering box. Is it worth getting without the steering column or pump to go with it? Will it work with stock steering column and pump?

What size hose do I need for a vacuum hose my line broke running from pump to firewall

Has anybody figured out why track bar failure occurs? This will be the 4th or 5th one that I have had to replace in 170k.... The end that attaches to the cross member is quite loose... If I recall correctly, the last one I replaced was in 2016 at about 160k . It is a Quick Steer brand made of "Forged Steel" according to the manf. Thanks and if You Guys have a recommended unit to buy this time, I am ready to try a different brand. Ed PS: I am a much more mellow driver in my advanced age (53) than I used to be!!

The neighbor and I ripped apart the cancerous rocker panel hole I had today. The spot weld drilling was no fun. F6C02B9C-8B1B-4A0D-A234-22273C1AD4A2.MOV Dodge screwed us in this deal. There’s foam attached to the outer rocker. Fitting the new rocker in. Getting ready to spot weld in Maybe be in bondo tonight Ready for bondo.

@Mopar1973Man @Me78569 I know that you 2 have been able to create a boost gauge for the OBDLink tool. I need some guidance setting this up with mine. I think it may help me diagnose other issues I’m having with my truck. First is where to go in the obdlink app to create the gauge?

Is there anyway to stop that crap? I pull my cables off and thoroughly wire brush them but it comes back right away and makes me mad! Anyone have a cure?

So I was wanting to get new leather seats for my truck. The katzkin leather I heard is popular, it's a kit that just pulls over the seat i believe, a dealer would install it for 1600 buck, that's material cost and labor . Anybody done this to there truck before? Does it seem to good to be true, maybe cheap product or something else? Also leatherseats.com has some nice looking seats you can make for 1300bucks, not including install.

Having issues with my fuel shut off went to pick it up from shop and it wouldn’t start the fuel shut off won’t stay up or even try going up they said there is a security Device by the park brake is black with 2 wires connected to it

Okay..... I know I'll probably regret it but, a guy can spend over 5-600 bucks just for stock sport headlights and I'm used to my first gen at 24 bucks ea. and its all glass. So wondering if anyone dealt with the issues on the ebay version? I plan on using LEXEL (it fuses to plastic) to seal around the lenses and then get stainless fine thread screws that I can change out for the adjustment screws. BTW, the Lexel sealant you can use to build up weak places in plastic since Michael Nelson was talking about some portion snapping off or something, basically warning me not to get them. lol.

Has anyone here ever put a rhino lining type product on their truck? I’m considering selling my rig and it’s got a lot of rock chips in the lower portion of the doors that I’d like to cover up without painting the truck. Iv seen a few pics of guys that have done it. I would line up to the first crease in the body just below the trim piece. Here’s a few brands Iv heard of. Rhino Line, Line X, Herculiner, Duraliner, Gardit, Reflex, Etc.

I want My truck to look new inside and out and under the hood. I would like to clean up under the hood from when that VP44 fitting broke and sprayed a ton of fuel all over the engine bay. Question is is it ok to poowerwash under the hood? What needs to be removed or protected before hand? What do you guys use for a degreaser?

I believe I have a Vacuum leak on my 99 24v, at idle when I push on the breaks the trucks idle drops and my cruise control no longer works, I’ve checked all fuses and no blown fuses, so I figured must be vacuum, anybody have a diagram or anything of that sort where all the vacuum lines run?

I hate to ask this because I know it's floating around somewhere, but I need some direction on narrowing down the blinker wires in the cab. I have a set of 4th gen mirrors from 1A that I'm trying to put on the truck right now and have not had much luck in narrowing down the blinkers. Any help is appreciated. Truck is an 01.

Morning Gents, As you guys might or might not know, I use my truck to tow my enclosed trailer out to the desert to ride in our dune buggy. I just bought a new buggy that consumes QUITE a bit more fuel than the last one did. I was getting away with 20 gallons/weekend, but this is not getting it any longer. so......... what Im looking for are options to take gas out with us. What's weird is if you change the year to 2001 1500, they're no longer as option so I'm wondering if they think a 2002 is actually a 3rd gen?
