I tried posting this in the 4K tunes spot but it wouldn’t let me choose that. I went to the track this weekend and used the hang on tune from the website. I’m really confused now cause when the truck shifted into second gear I pressed my lock up switch for the torque converter and the truck dies down and then pulls hard but it takes it a second to pull. Also at the light I was spooling up and I could not get the truck to go over 20psi without it trying to cut power back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just trying to prove that Quadzilla is the way to go.

I'm going to publicly say this. I've gotten a phone call from another member asking all these questions about ground wire mod and having to add the second ground strip from battery to battery this is NOT REQUIRED nor will you gain NOTHING! Just because W-T has a ham transmitter for his truck and draws large amounts of power. If the main cables are in good condition there will be ZERO drop or very little less than 0.2 volts. The existing main ground cables going to the block are more that enough. If you do a voltage drop test of your cables your going to find out if you have weak ground cables or positive cables. Anything over 0.2 volts voltage drop is a fail f…

  3. Heres inside a 51" Then after I beat on it with a bar. Wish I had a air cutter so I could reach in and cut it out. I couldn't get the ears to bend all the way out. Figured I'd share this here. The 51" 5" muffler in the application it was designed for. The exhaust 90 was rusted out. I did a quick bandaid with the new muffler it hopefully lasts a few years. I also did brakes on the drives and painted the bed. This truck takes priority over my pickup I drive it more anyways. It's a 365 big cam I've done no power mods on. Truck has 1.3mill on it. 365 was in framed at 837k replaced a couple injectors and clutch…

Hoping to hear from some of you gear heads out there who have experience with both the edge comp box and quadzilla adrenaline, honestly my head's hurting thinking about Which if any tuner I'm going to get for my truck. My plan was to get a gauge setup and go from there, if I take my local Cummins gurus advise there's really no choice but to get the edge monitor for my gauges then comp box. He says as far as not being glitchy and durable, like 15yrs durable then it's edge, but then I'm seeing a lot of y'all have quadzilla's and seem to like them? How long have you had them? Trouble free? I like the idea of the quad having gauges and killing two birds, but then read that th…

So I installed the quad today and it wasn't that bad at all. Using the stock tune I turned it up to lvl10 and went for a test drive. The first ten minutes were a BLAST! Extremely smooth. When the wiretap kicks in it definitely threw me back in the seat. Smoke and egts were much better than with the edge ez I removed. On the way home I romped on it one more time and blew an intercooler boot at 45psi. Oh well, it was fun. On a different note, we came back from camping today and had a hell of a trip. Was pulling out 37' fifth wheel with the wife's 4th gen. About an hour and a half from home I had to …

So I've been looking for the last 2 days and wasn't sure where to ask these questions so I made a new thread. I can't figure out how to update my sig, and was also wondering if anyone is running an s362 on 50hp sticks with quadzilla adr v2? I just have a few questions I can't figure out.

At idle I am showing 2-4% engine load. I can't remember but I think that means my injectors are getting wore out??

So: I can't tow (8000lb camper) in OD and I"m ok with that (low rpms due to 3.55 and 35" tires lol) Cruising in 3rd at lower rpms (1700-1900 on gravel roads) is also a bit warm too on the egt side. Question: The Quad EGT reads a 100ish deg lower than my glowshift max tow gauge around 900+ deg, some places I get the max tow to 1200 but Quad is showing 1100... Which should I trust? Both probes are side by each in the manifold. Water temp sits great at 195 and Oil temp stays at 208 on the quad. Towing boost also seams low- rarely over 17psi cruising (19-2100rpm). The motor is studded with 425's, 62 71 12 (I think) DPS turbo that's like 13/14 years old, 150h…

Howdy guys, it’s been some time since I was at all active online, but hopped on to see what was new and figured I’d let y’all know my current project. About a year ago I bought the shawty, it’s a 1995 rcsb. did the basic round of mods, maxed 180 pump, injectors, a s362, and a transmission that could hold it. Did 540hp on that setup that setup was a blast to daily drive, but I wanted to play with something new, so I decided to common rail swap it with some pretty good size wirly boiz all this was done in a rush to try and make it to the ATS gauntlet challenge, first fire was a week before the competition. …

  12. Good day Gents, I have recently purchased a 1999 Dodge with 5.7 Cummins 24v and it came with iquad adrenaline "aggressive" setup. The vehicle had 275hp injectors which i replaced with 50hp just last week. When i first got the vehicle the programming did not seem to work: no matter what the setting, the power output was the same and fuel economy sat at around 14mpg. With the new injectors, there is now a definite response from the different program settings however, the milage has not changed one bit even with the lower hp injectors and a full tank of babying the throttle. I have read through quite a few of the posts, i appreciate your knowledge and willingne…

Just got my 02 back from an extensive build from a local shop. The more I read about stacking, the dumber I seem to feel. The guy that writes the MM3 tunes for my shop recommended flashing the ecm with the mm3 tunes, and then putting in an Edge comp box through the data link to be able to "full field" the injection pump. Set up in this way, do these two work together? If they do, how can I set things up (things meaning wires lol) so that I can adjust both on the fly? Currently the edge is adjustable on the fly but to change levels with the mm3 I was told I would have to disconnect the edge and use the data link, then reconnect the edge when done. Any help would be greatly…

I have a 96 12 valve with a nv4500. I can hit peaks of 1600 degrees Fahrenheit at 38 psi of boost And it’s still climbing. The egts take off like that in 4th and 5th gear after 2000 rpm when I’m on it. It has a slightly bigger turbo, slightly bigger injectors, a #6 fuel plate, boost elbow, 4 in turbo back exhaust and and a cold air intake I’ve been driving it and pushing it like that for a year now not holding it past 1200 for any longer than a couple seconds I just don’t like spending more time looking at the egt gauge than the road btw the egt probe is mounted on the exhaust manifold. I’m thinking a different turbo or a better inter cooler or maybe a bit less fuel hope…

Driving my ‘02 24 valve after a fresh VP44 install and she feels a lot happier than before however when I give her the beans out of a stop she feels sluggish to get up and go through first and second then as soon as I get third she takes off like a rocket. Here is all the stuff I have done, does anyone have any ideas? Is it normal? a set of 150hp SAC injectors, thoroughbred diesel 2 year VP44, quadzilla adrenaline module Running power driven diesel tunes, built 47RE trans w/ a billet triple disc converter, 150gph fass, BD super B turbo (64.5mm comp 80mm turbine), AFE cold air intake, AFE exhaust manifold, and a 4” straight pipe, remote mount trans cooler under the bed, Yu…

  16. https://ibb.co/SfMjjWV Just purchased a quadzilla for iPhone for my 1999 5 speed Cummins. The boost numbers bounce around from 10 and back to 0 which causes the truck to jerk a lot. I just received this 5/21 and I took out my edge juice with attitude that I had zero issues with. Would show boost 30+ and the truck ran great. Quad number is ADR1000 which is correct for my 99. Now my main issue is the 3 prong map sensor connector. The middle prong inside the connector appears to be damaged. I’m not sure if this would cause the issues I’m having. I ordered form power driven diesel and just received it 3 days ago and just installed today. …

Hey guys just picked up an Used edge juice w/attitude cs2 for a good deal. So I already have egt, trans and fuel pressure gauges on my pillar mount. So basically When I go to install the edge I’m wondering do I have to install all of the sensors that come with the edge or am I able to splice the sensor wires on the edge harness into the appropriate wires for the gauges I already have?

  18. Got some presents in the mail today from the good ol US Postal Service. I am going to build a hybrid hx35/40. Well.. it'll be mostly HX40 with the only 35 carryover being the turbine housing. As much as I searched, it just does not seem like there is a reasonbly priced turbo between an HX35 and a 62/68 BW variant that everyone seems to love. As cool as a BW 62mm would be, i just dont need that much turbo, i dont want the added lag, and my truck's primary function is towing my 5th wheel toybox which is around 13k loaded so i need the turbo to spool reasonably quick. I ended up buying what is basically a new, un-assembled complete hx40 …

Well guys I finally reached my goal of over 20 mpg! I went on a drive from southern Washington to Northern and back which netted me 20.33 mpg @ 65 mph. I also did a mix of city driving as well. This is with a corrected speedometer and I actually lose ~1 mile over a 550 mile course. I believe this increase has come mainly from the weather heating up and from possibly using S15 D-2 diesel as opposed to B20. I had the timing set on the quad @ 18* at 65mph. Rpms are around 1780 with 3.54 rear and 295/70R17 tires. I also swapped the steel rims out with 3rd gen alloys which reduced some of the rotating mass. Soon I will be switching to 245/70R17 tires and I hope to see another …

I have an ‘02 cummins with what I believe is a failing stock VP44 due to the hard hot starting, P0126, and P1693 codes. My truck is fairly built already with a set of 150hp SAC injectors, quadzilla adrenaline module, ARP head studs, built 47RE trans, 150gph fass, S364 turbo, AFE cold air intake, AFE exhaust manifold, and a 4” straight pipe. Is a hot rod pump something that’s going to be worth the money on my truck or am I better off sticking to a stock pump. Also is there going to be a loss in reliability if i do a hot rod pump vs. a stock replacement?
