I've got an older one ton Ford motorhome, I leave my driveway at about 10 or 11,000 lb. Needless to say I chew through brakes especially front. Exhaust brake would be great but cant find any. Whats the reason there's no exhaust brake for gasoline Motors?

Hunting was slow at best for ducks. Geese a little bit better. That blizzard that went thru 2 weeks prior kept birds in Canada and drove most of the locals South. Hope you enjoy the pix. Just a hodgepodge of pix.

30mile draft behind a truck. Fail Bucking a heavy wind coming out of salt lake headed to boise. Made the bad decision to cross the 50-60mile stretch with no fuel stations. Got in behind a semi letting it pull and buck the wind for me. Instant mpg drafting in the 40s bucking my own trail it was in the high teens. Sucked her dry watching fuel pressure gauge go to zero pulling a small grade semi leaving me. Managed to pull the hill topping she levels psi comes back coasting down hill shes back to life psi reading 20 sweat rolling off my forehead. I'm thinking I got this I've never run you out of fuel yet. 6 miles to go instant numbers in the 30s coming off…

Just seen a webpage that one part of our "royal family" has taken a private flight to Nice on a Cessna, fair enough, whats really puzzling me is some eco boffin Ejit has decided the carbon footprint is over 4 tons..... or around 8500lb ish, for a flight to south france, which is maybe at most a 1000miles away.... dunno its france, now back when I did school and to be fair it was a long time ago the law of physics states you can not get more out than you put in, my rv trailer is 9000lb and that will never fly no way no how so I would say..... correct me if there are any plane people here but a Cessna cannot be 4 ton or 8500lb SO how does it emit 4 tons of carbon on a max o…

It's been a while since I posted, but earlier this week I got a call from a detective with Indianapolis police department. He told me they may have found my 18ft PJ flatbed trailer that was stolen back in Dec 2009. Got the call today from him saying it was mine. She's back in the driveway, little worse for wear, but mostly functional. I'm happy that I've got it back; never figured I'd see it again, from the night I filed the police report. That being said, I'm still kinda pissed about the damage to the fenders and some other damage to the rest of the trailer. They dont know much else, I guess it was abandoned and found, but I was able to ge…

I buy very few OEM parts at all. But every now and then there are some things that are dealer only items. I was searching E-Bay for some rear axle u-bolt plates and found these to be the cheapest ones on there. Original Mopar and from a dealer being the cheapest hard to believe. That's not the case though with the $3000 VP44 they have. Here's the link. They are from @dripley's home town. Wonder if he knows them?

Gonna be hot but should be cool. Hard rock/metal bands. If by chance you're here for the show hit me up. Be cool to meet some new people from m1973m.

Christine and I are planning to burn to Kansas. 2400rd trip in November. Well be dragging a ford home and everything of her sons we can fit on the goose kneck. I'm slightly concerned about snow going through wyoming(Evanston) I'll need to get a front driveline before possibly a set of chains to toss on the steers . I told christine if conditions are bad enough we could regret going my mind says November will be fine but the voice in the back of my head wonders if I'm making a mistake in agreeing to go. 4wd will only take so far doesn't matter if we cant see . In my younger days I burned Orlando to here in 48hrs non stop. 3 of us driving …

My Dad, just 35 years old was in a Huey on rescue duty when it was blown up with a shape charge in DaNang Oct 1964. He was covering for a friend who hadn't had a chance to see the latest Movie brought to the base. Thank you to all Service vets and the families that made the greatest sacrifice.
