12 Valve boost increase or lack thereof..
Put a choke cable on it like old 2 1/2 ton military trucks. Pull the knob out to cut fuel.

What mods/maintenance do you guys have planned in the future?
I guess I could wash my truck It cover in a ton of mud and salt right now.

I've already had enough side show work. [*]Blew up my turbo So the most I would be doing is typical monthly inspections and maintenance of the truck. One of my biggest problems right now is getting the salt washed off the truck soon. I might do that tomorrow if the weather is descent.

I've seen it on a VE pump engine where the throttle cable was stretched enough that the throttle only traveled about 70-80% and wasn't giving a good WOT experience. I shimmed the cable with a ziptie... Owner is happy now...

I tend to agree with ISX you need to check the fuel pressure. I know on the P7100 its not a damage problem but a performance issue. You might have good filters and overflow valve but maybe just maybe the pump isn't strong anymore? All this would be seen on a fuel pressure gauge. You could install a 0-60 boost gauge as a fuel pressure and be able to check you pressure over speed.

For ISX and the 12V crowd...
It reminds me of my teenage years with Mopar muscle cars. Now we are doing all over again with diesel trucks. What's even more strange is my first car was a 1973 Dodge Charger (hence my nickname). But the 1973 Dodge Charger was the first year of smog control on the muscle cars. But had all the mild bonuses of electronic ignition and a few other nice mods compared to earlier models. Just like 2002 was the last of the first series smog controlled Cummins diesels with electronic controls. So when you look at it that way I got the best of both vehicles for the time. Now to make the Cummins last another 10 years and hope for a new technology to replace the common rail fuel system.

How's AD/Raptor Treating Folks on Warranty Now?
Wow! That's sad. :nono:I usually bend over backwards to call back the Caller ID number and make sure I'm finished with people. But to just hang up on someone that just really poor manners.

2013 Ford diesel accidentally put gas instead of diesel......
I hate to say it most times out of ten even with the newer Cummins engine and gasoline typically does some serious damage to the engine in a short order. So for your friend I would purge the system and have everything re-tested again. (Compression, injectors, fuel pump, etc.) Also remember most of the fuel system rely on the lubricant of the fuel to lubricate the injector parts and such now with running gas through it all I wonder how much galling and damage there is to parts. Kind of like dumping diesel fuel in the crankcase it will wipe out the bearings pretty quick.

Weird Hot Wire alternator. ATTN Mike Nel.
No that's a Ultima just like the OP's alternator right down to the part number. What I was showing is the typical Dodge field plug in back compared to his hack field leads. Even peek at my alternator test video. I've got the same plug. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6w0WF5wr2g

what causes wait to start light delay
Ok. Long post coming... What happens is just like you home computer when you turn on the key to your truck. The power is given to all the computers (ECM, PCM, AirBag, Anti-lock, etc.) But staying focused on the ECM when the power is given the computer reads the contents of the EPROM and loads into memory just like you PC does when you turn it on. Once the software is booted up then the software runs as designed. So during this long wait there is memory errors and the system keeps rebooting and rebooting trying to get up and running. So the first thing the software does once booted is check the IAT temp and trip ON the wait to start light. The wait to start light cannot be turned on till software is loaded from the EPROM there is no way around this. So if the on board RAM is failing throwing error it just gets longer and longer. Here is what's inside the ECM case. Processor, RAM EPROM, etc... This is the connector to the 50 pin connector and decoding the sensor input.

Brake pedal kickback
That does sound like your on the right track. You could rebuild it yourself. http://articles.mopar1973man.com/general-cummins/33-brake-system/79-brake-hydrobooster-rebuild

Something is wrong here... Here is what I found looking up the Ultima 05-0321 Alternator and here is the back side. Some has chopped up your alternator pure and simple. Broke down in iowa
As long as you chained up and in 4WD I see then you can use the EB. But I typically turn it off in the snow and such. As for your 2 pictures. Make sure when you do thaw out that you rinse the truck off with fresh water ASAP. as long and you keep the truck rinsed down good and remove all the mud and grime the salt won't eat the body and start the rusting.

ECM (driver side of the block) doesn't control the alternator... :nono:PCM (passenger side firewall) does that...

An honest deal?
I typically don't use either site or listing I pull out the owners manual which typically has the right answers...Also with trailer Dry Weight is meaningless. All weights are scaled weights or GCWR or GVWR. Never use or talk about Dry Weight. Dry weight is used for the shipping industry to ship the trailer from manufacture to dealer that all.Now talk to CajFlynn about this and you'll see a different answer all together.

Premature bearing failure bad ground strap question
Interesting...But typically I inspect my wiring and ground when I'm crawling around the truck. Sometimes during oil changes or other maintenance I inspect these little thing and check to be sure ground strap are not broken or damaged. There is a reason why the manufacture put these in place. I've so many time where some toss a ground strap in the trash to just removes it thinking the battery cable are good enough and find out it causes all kinds of weird issues.
