High Idle & MPG Fooler
Actually there is a goof on the 3/6 cyl mode switch in the drawing.

Terrible luck with Raptor.
I've got a old school AirDog with over 5-6 years on mine. The new owners of Pureflow seem of made AirDog/Raptor into junk these days. Cutting corners in quality.

Battery Recommendations
Same here... Good price and easy to get. Another battery I would buy is a NAPA battery absolutely nothing wrong with them.

Biology Exam
Students in an advanced Biology class were taking their mid-term exam. The last question was, 'Name seven advantages of Mother's Milk.’ The question was worth 70 points or none at all. One student, in particular, was hard put to think of seven advantages. However, he wrote: 1) It is perfect formula for the child. 2) It provides immunity against several diseases. 3) It is always the right temperature. 4) It is inexpensive. 5) It bonds the child to mother, and vice versa. 6) It is always available as needed. And then the student was stuck. Finally, in desperation, just before the bell rang indicating the end of the test, he wrote: ( Scroll down) 7) It comes in two attractive containers and it's high enough off the ground where the cat can't get it.He got an A.

High Idle & MPG Fooler
There is a way to daisy chain the MPG fooler into the IAT setup. I'll have to draw that one..

You're a "Real" Fire Wood Burner if.........................
Yes those are my 235/85 R16 tires... (70 PSI in the front and 60 PSI in the rear) Of course we hate to have to break out the file and sharpen chains because of rock damage. That serious firewood burner foul there! Yes those round were heavy even in half and yes we noodled them... That is Red Fir the prize firewood of the area. People treat red fir trees like gold mine you NEVER tell a friend even where you got it. As for that load it closer to 1.5 cords. I got in argument over the amount with the friend in the picture. He told me to split the pile and then stack it and measure the cords. In three fat loads like that totaled little over 5 cords measured... (Go big or go home... I went home big!) Point of reference look at the tree there is a 16" measure stick laying on the trunk of the fallen tree...

High Idle & MPG Fooler
Because of safety factors. With the high idle flash and box you still have all the safety system in place. The high idle will cancel with... [*]Touching the throttle [*]Touching the brake pedal [*]Placing the trans in gear (auto) [*]Speed above 0 MPH [*]Coolant above 170*F With a choke cable to hand throttle you can't use the exhaust brake as a warm up aid because the throttle is above 0% so exhaust brake is canceled. (virtual loading) Then also there is no 3 cylinder mode with choke or hand throttle which creates more heat than 6 cylinder. (virtual loading)

Only had it a week and,,,,,,,,
Ummm... Seriously Stodg is right. If you present it to her properly it will work. For the longest time I use to get the weirdest looks from MoparMom and debate what is needed for the truck to make it last. Well now there is no questions asked about after 10 years of ownership and 208K miles she has no problems with anything I ask for now because she understands my design and what I'm after.

D-Max gets spanked!
Same here. There is a lot of sites with this kind of mind set of everyday competition with each other. As for the video I still this its a lame idea to even compare by chaining up. If you want to compare truck take them to the dyno or out to the quarter mile track and race. Not drag another truck around on a chain that's just stupid, wreckless, careless, etc...

D-Max gets spanked!
... Very stupid...

D-Max gets spanked!
Never does prove anything... :rolleyes:There is a secret to tug-o-wars between truck the truck with the higher stance will typically win because as the shorten stance truck starts to pull he will be pulled upwards loosing traction as the weight of the smaller stance truck is pull down on the taller giving traction. After that torque takes over and you get the above video. The difference in stance can be as small as a few inches and still make huge difference.

I don't know How The Deer know......
All I can say is that's one messed up deer... Good thing the gene pool got a bit of chlorine there...

1st a question and then a venting ...
Ah...I've got a wonderful Kenwood deck in my truck but the rollers for the CD eject tend to get dusty at time and then quit ejecting the disc. So what I do is typically try ejecting to see if I can see the edge of the disc and either grab it will needle nose pilers or another disc and lightly press downward to aid the roller. Now to clean this mess up is fairly easy. Take a old CD (damaged one) and wrap a single layer of a tee shirt or thin cloth over the disc now moisten the cloth with rubbing alcohol and the lightly insert the disc to the player allowing the roller to try and grab the disc covered cloth. Don't let the disc to be sucked in. But get the rollers cleaned up so they can push / pull the disc. So check you cloth for dirt and keep going to clean. Now you should have a working eject.

I don't know How The Deer know......
Well the old boy I'm talking about is living on the original homestead land from 1890's. Still no power on the property. Rex Baker still goes out every single day and takes care of his cows riding a ATV up to 30-40 miles tending cows. His Mom is still alive at the age of 90 (I think) and she still going not as good as Rex but still going.Baker Ranch and Rex Baker standing to the right. I guess us Idahoian's tend to better care of ourselves...

What causes popping! and WHY
Well between way late valve timing (loose valve lash), late ignition timing (mis-adjusted), and air in the fuel (longer to pop pressure) you could have some seriously wacky things go on.

I don't know How The Deer know......
Out here its the way the F&G is setup. They let all the bow hunter out to stir the pot. Then cut the rifle hunter out after the bow hunter done spoked then all. Also during all this only open a few units for a couple days and have everyone cram into the few open units and move like wave of locust from unit to unit as the open and close. I gave up years ago... Cheaper to go to the store and buy it cut and wrapped. As for deer and animals they know what's going to happen with the weather. They move down out of the bad weather areas well before the storm comes. The old tymers up here tell you the same thing if you want to know what the weather is going to do just watch the deer and cows. They will travel up hill on clear warm days but come a storm either rain or snow they will be heading down hill before the storm get there.
