  1. Well that's how you learn from it... But yeap most say its not worth it... But a winning combo that with get the smoke to roll is a set of RV275 injectors and a Edge Comp on 5x5. I've got to roll into the throttle really light to keep my smoke down. But once I clear 5-10 PSI I can roll into the throttle hard and heavy. But now from a dead stop and row out the gears when I hit 3rd gear and drop the hammer you better not be near me... I'll change your paint job to flat black really quick!!
  2. Holy cow... You didn't make it to 100K but darn close there Dorkweed... Do you have a pic of the Blackstone report? I'm really curious about the results after 84K miles!
  3. That right there is the driving force that keep me going here... Thnk you Russ those kind words make the world of difference!
  4. Comments in blue... ---------- Post added at 04:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:27 PM ---------- Well I double checked my book... It shows the cruise for the Gasoline system which use the vacuum motor setup... But the steering wheel controls are the same... It just the wires don't go to a vacuum motor but the PCM is wired to APPS...
  5. Ummm... Do you remember the error code number again? I know I scanned it once but I need the code number again I can look it up in my books...
  6. Hmmm... I got a set of white spoke rims I might have to clean up and shoot black and them mount my Coopers on...
  7. Reason why is my stock rims are getting rather corred around the edges from wheel weights being put on and taken off. It has got a couple of small corroded spots on the rims... Sure I know "Diesel" doesn't help it either but hiking his leg and watering my tires in the morning...
  8. Here is a wiring diagram for you... Do me a favor and double check you error codes I got docs for it but I need t oknow if there is error code present from the PCM of cruise control issues. P1595, P1596, P1597, P1683 these are cruise control error codes...
  9. Something I might consider doing myself... But I wondering how long the color hold up to offroad debris and mud??? I'd sure hate to have to paint my rims every weekend...
  10. Right here... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/showthread.php/899-Injector-upgrade?highlight=injectors Then thew write up.. http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/injectors/injectors.htm
  11. Heck... Put big orange trianlge on the back of it... Its tractor speed!
  12. Wow! That's a mouthful... Well at least it runs again... But seriously Flman where the cummins? It seems to be buried under a bunch...
  13. As for the cruise... Hmmm... Sounds like there is a wiring issue steering column maybe like clockspring... Let me dig through my books and see if I can find a good wiring diagram for cruise control and get it posted up. To me it sound like the cruise switch is stuck... But let me do some digging in the morning when I'm not so bushed...
  14. Taken care of... But that is the exact same vacuum pump I've got... http://www.foxruntools.com/vacuumpump-5cfmsnglstge.aspx
  15. Geez... Russ I told you a million times I would love to do the work for ya but you live on the other side of this island...:banghead: It truely sucks to live so far from friends and never really meet... About the best I can do is get you information when you need it...
  16. Humor me... I don't remember everything everyone got... Yeah even I get CRS sometimes... Stock vs. Big Line... Stock line is 6mm ID Big Line in 1/2" ID
  17. When coolant enters the oil typically it turns like chocolate malt in bad cases... But even in light cases you'll see moisture on the oil cap or top of the dip stick after the truck had sat overnight... Just monitor your coolant level and your oil level closely for a few days... If nothing changes then you should be fine... But like ISX pointed out it might not be a bad idea to have it tested...
  18. It looks like a Airtex lift pump... As for the cruise... I need to know what year? As for the ABS/BRAKE you got a speed sensor out... So assuming you still got speedometer its one of the front axle speed sensors...
  19. Actually running the heater doesn't do much... The other thing to check is the drain on the passender side firewall and make sure its not blocked up and filling with swampy water (the stink)... Heater core is after ther evaporator... So the only way to really cure this problem is to pull the system out and clean the entire HVAC system... Between ISX and myself I'm sure we can get you through it... The air enter on the passenger side from the cowling... Right above the blower motor...
  20. I wish... There is nothing out here... I've got 180 miles to go for a big town... So my local NAPA can get them for me at that price...
  21. I'm the one the that did the video... As for the switch in from ECT fooler that controls my high idle and 3 cyl high idle. Check it out... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/high-idle/high-idle.htm
