  1. Ummm... Someone did the math for me awhile back and it about 960 PSI at 35 PSI... (Trying to remember)
  2. They only reset after the the repair is done and the vehicle is MOVING! If you just keep starting the engine and shutting down it will never reset. Don't bother to dis-connect the battery it will not reset ABS code. So does your speedometer work right?
  3. Flman could you copy that article and post it up... Please...
  4. Typically there is a MPG gain to it but now calculate in the propane your using and see if the MPGs are rising or not... But of course thats after you install the propane setup...
  5. More I think about our phone conversation the more I tend to want to agree with the thought of parking the truck in the backyard buy another 24V and part your truck out for your new truck...
  6. What's rather odd in your pictures... The 13" clutches are about 2 wide in friction material and the stock clutch is like 2.5 or a bit more...
  7. Geez... You are boered... Enjoying the M73M driving simulator... Ok... As soon as I get my truck back up and running there will be more videos to come... Thanks... I also love the sound of it too... But what I think is awesome is the fact I've never done a brake job yet... 167K miles... That's a lot of trips up on down the mountain using a exhaust brake! I noticed no comment about the Boise County Court House...
  8. That a valid way of testing as long as you know which pins you got to bridge... I can't seem to find that connector...
  9. Intank pumps were Dodge's idea of replacing the stock 98.5-2002 lift pump with something better. As for the AirDog 100 or 150 either way your going to have to put a drawstraw into the system because you cannnot pull fuel through a dead lift pump. There is the basic style of drawstraw and the newer version that goes into the stock basket with some mods to the orignal sender...
  10. Yea but if you stuck a Auto ECM in a Manual truck then there is no idle governor set for it so hence the idle would fall rapidily and be loppy becuase there nothing to pull it back up. More I think about JL I would go for the dealer flash more. Because the fact the Smarty will follow what all ready on the ECM so it will noe enable that switch for you. So I would contact a dealer and ask for a reflash with the correct software...
  11. I did once in awhile but excused its as fluke because it like once a year I might smell it... When I pulled it out it should explain the smell. But it sucks that now I having to wait for a heater core to be shipped from Canada... Come on UPS... Looking for a Brown truck to show up...
  12. There has to be some sort of adjustment there for the contact...
  13. I don't see any reason why you couldn't use another propane bottle as long as the threads are the same in the valve (left hand). I'm curious of your results to using the propane setup...
  14. After all the work ot produce this video and upload over 150 MB of video file and no one has anything to say? Wow!
  15. Here check out something this is really interesting... http://www.pbs.org/mediashift/2009/01/warning-dependence-on-facebook-twitter-could-be-hazardous-to-your-business029.html
  16. I agree with both the guys about the K&N... why bother washing a filter constantly and breaking down the filter media to the point of passing dust. BHAF will last 5 years and 100K miles easy without washing, oiling, or even messing with it. Why? Simple because the fact the filter is so huge that the dust can't be held to the media by vacuum so with road vibration the dust is shook off and it becomes self cleaning lets say... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=923 As for mileage gains you need to consider a enhancement box of some sort. Like myself I got a Edge Comp and run it wide open 5x5 and been tipping the MPG at about 20-21 MPG typically. A good fuel system. A good lift pump will help keep the VP44 injection pump healthy longer so the MPG's will not degree as much. AirDog 100 or AirDog 150 both come with filter and filter down to about 2 microns compared to stock filter at 10 microns. Ah heck... There is even more information over here... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/general/better-mpgs/better-mpgs.htm
  17. Love to see this... Sounds interesting...
  18. Good to hear its going smoothly so far...
  19. This is a 2 part video I uploaded to YouTube. I was going to video a full trip all the way around but time was getting short so video trip came short as we enter Boise, ID but some day I take you down US95 and show you that side of the state... But without much delay here it is... Part 2...
  20. Oh so very true... My first truck I had in Idaho is a 1972 Dodge PowerWagon 3/4 Ton. I managed to put over 202K miles on it before I gave up on the truck. I bought it with just about 70K miles... But it had a broken piston ring and a few other minor problems. I pulled the engine and rebuilt it myself. When I gave up on the beast... The interior was complete shot. But the engine and trans still kept going the proble I had was I was breaking outer axle stubs (4WD and early 72 axle will just being discontinued). It a poor pic but... (really good truck I really do miss it!) http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1073 http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1072
  21. Holy Crap! GuessWho! That is a mouthful to rap your mind around... Worth reading some of that...
  22. The part that got me upset is the fact I see the wave coming to Idaho already... We are at $3.409 to $3.609 a gallon for diesel fuel. I'm sure a lot of you will chime in with much lower prices... But the fact remains that BP will lean on all the other oil industry and Big Gov't to help clean it up in return the price of diesel will go through the roof... (Again)... I think its BP problem... BP should clean it up.. BP mess should not effect the price of fuel... It other word I know just because of this mess I'm going to pay for the clean up by see a huge increase in fuel cost again... Just wrong...
  23. You'll know when you get up in place either it will sit into place really easy or refuse to go... But by the pics you given I would say the TQ Conv is in place... Now W&F has to get you setup on the VB part...
  24. But be aware the part for the NV5600 could be in short supply... From... http://quad4x4.com/NV5600%20parts.htm Since NV4500 trans were use in several different makes of vehicle Chevy's and Fords also there is more supplies for 5 speed trans than 6 speed trans. I'm still finding reports of trucks at the dealer waiting for 6 speed parts... The extra might be nice but the final gear ratio is (6 speed 0.73:1) and (5 speed 0.75:1) so top gear is basically the same...
  25. Hey I might of hit close to you guys problem... Another member was talking about Trans swaps... I just found a tidbit for you JL... This might be you problem the ECM is from a Auto and the anti-stall is DISABLED... The flash might be your trick...
