I'm starting to ask the local fuel stations if they are getting winterized or summer fuel... Found some stations are summer fuel already while others are not. As for the 2 cycle oil I've been down to as low as 100:1 mix rate but beyond that you start to see degrade in power / MPG's.From what I know the lubricant package is suppose to be added to the fuel at the time of filling the delievery truck. :confused: Railroads??? We don't have any railroad here anymore... `

Dang... I wish... I'm in the 40-50*F bracket now and it raining here in Idaho. With the winter fronts it would push the IAT temps up to about 100*F and gain me about 1-2 MPG but my EGt here in the canyon were about 600-900*F. But now that I pulled the winter fronts my EGT are now down to 500-600*F and IAT dropped to 80*F... Now the MPG's slid down the 1-2 points and back to the lower numbers... Can't win for losing... LOL

Wow what a mess... Now as for the grid heaters I'm starting to see several failures of the relay that control the grid heaters. They will stick and stay on. I would check and see if the relay is actually stuck or is the ECM sending power to the relay needlessly. As for the P1689 that could be from the lack of voltage during the time the grid heater were sticking or because the fuel pump relay is got weak contaacts. trade the fuel pump realy in the PDC with something else or just replace it. Is the fuel pump still running with the key out? I've heard of a simular thing it happen to be the ABS brake pump on the drivers fender that was running... But double check to see... :confused:

Who me??? LOL Stock should be 3" from the turbo to the resinator and then 4" to the muffler then 3" out to the tail pipe... Yeap its 4" pipe between the muffler and resinator of all wierd things... So if you wanting straight pipe it just measure out a chunk of 3" pipe and put it in... I done 3 trucks now... 8|

The way I set my low beams... The low beam pattern should never shine on highway signs or reflectors. It should hold to its lane. I've got a short video I did with my fog lamps but it really hard to tell how far the beam pattern goes till it hits signsa and such... I could compile it for you... :confused:

As for keeping it quiet you could go with a glass pack which exact like the resinator but the stock rtesinator is 3" on one end and 4" on the other... :mad

I've got a short video I could put together but the camera cant see the lights as good... But I've got a good 1/4 to 1/3 mile light path but its just as wide as a 2 lane highway plus another 50 feet over (in the ditch on both sides). Deer getters... :smart But down low seem to work really well...

Firts there has to be some trash in the tank to clean out...I've been running solely petroluem diesel now for the life of my truck and never had any trash in my tank or fuel lines..

Ummmm... 4 - 100W bulbs across the front... 2 - 100W bulbs in the rear... :rolleyes Strange enough... Been running them for over 5 years now and NEVER been high beamed nor has a police officer said a thing about them... So I must of done something right... ;)

I can't even compare at 141K miles... LOL

Well that's a tough one... The fact is at least here in Idaho it illegal to sell replacement H3 bulbs greater than 55W. So no matter what you buy for a bulb you stuck with 55W lights. From my experience with bulbs 55W by any name is about all the same. But you jump up to 100W bulbs now thing get bright quick. But remember the more wattage the more heat so becareful. I've got a set of those 35W one myself... There OK but don't have the range as the one I've got shown which are 100W and shine out about 1/4 to 1/3 of a mile. But now there is a problem with the 100W bulbs. They get REALLY HOT. It not something you want to cram into a small area.
