Winter Fronts - Best way to keep you Cummins Warm!
Just make a set out of what ever... I'm using a old aluminum sign and cut it up to fit the grill. I used a nut (Ny-loc) and bolt with a fender washer to hold it on. Little secret bow the metal slightly so as you tight the bolt up it sucks it flat against the grill... ;)

ScanGuage 2
As a matter of fact I was asking if they could come up with a corrected XGauge for the MAP sensor so we can see corrected values... But my emails are slow to get responses... I'm going to try calling them soon... Here is the contact info on them... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/manufacture/manufacture.htm

High Idle BOMB COMPLETED!
Take a look... It works excellent and is a great way to warm up your truck on cold winter mornings. It will warm up a truck in under 10 minutes! :thumbsup http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/high-idle/high-idle.htm

Winter Fronts - Best way to keep you Cummins Warm!
Yeah but when the coolant is cold you don't have cold wind blowing across the radiator, block and such making it even longer to warm up... Like me I got to add in the last 2 covers on my grill it only 28-30*F right now... (Brrr)Last few day the mornings would be cold 32-35*F then warm up to 65-70*F during the day so I've been only running the upper 2 covers and left the lower 2 covers off. This allowed for quicker warm up but allowed for enough cool air to keep it from getting hot.

Winterization...
Thank you... I've got them installed already ofr this winter now... But the day time temp are still rather high so I might pop the bottom row out to add a bit more air to the coolers... But Morning temps are low 28-34*F here... 8|

a 2 stroke oil question?
Standard interval as usual... 2 cycle oil doesn't effect either the engine oil or the fuel filter changes...But use the standard 128:1 ratio. ! oz of oil to 1 gallon of fuel... :thumbsup

Welcome to my little forum... I know you active vendor so I gave you your own access so you can advertise products here... I'm not going to push for payments for advertising right now. But maybe in the future you might toss a donatation to the M73M.com site.As for Not owning a Dodge that's fine... By chance what do you own and maybe I'll get busy and create a area for you to handle if you crazy enough... I'm not very knowledgeable of fords or chevys but I do understand the basic functions... :thumbsup

Speedometer question ??
I got a buddy "Taz" that's got the same issue... His does it for 10-15 miles... Then comes back... It's electronic and controlled by the PCM in the fender. There is a sensor in the trans...(Or transfer case). No error codes... Here is the flash code listing for them... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/general/error-codes/error-codes.htm

4:10s MPG
4.10 gear makes it rather hard to get big numbers but 21 is nothing to sneeze at... 8|

Edge Mileage Max Module
Also you lose the timing advancement when you boost exceeds about 5-7 PSI... You can hear a change if you got a smoke switch... :D

Im a New B . . .
That why the limitiation was setup. Because once you go to far the burn characteristic change considerably. Hence a change in power and MPG. I've got some people using 2 cycle oil to add lubricity back to fuels like JET-A and others that need it and they are between 1/2 gallon to 1 gallon of 2 cycle oil per tank. But since in there case they are getting the fuel for cheap rate it offset the cost of 2 cycle oil. As for myself I spend $64 bucks a year on 2 cycle oil for 20K miles basically. (128:1 Ratio) ;)

2 Stroke and the Common Rail
Using 2 cycle oil with a CAr isn't bad. Dorkweed here is using 2 cycle oil in his 2004.5 and also got a CAT. The one you don't want to use in is the DPF (Diesel Particuate Filter)

Well... I just got done doing a computer job yesterday for some people in Riggins, ID. They wanted me to move software for the vinyl cutter from a laptop to a desktop computer. I couldn't resist looking at all that fresh vinyl in the back room.. So I had to draw up a windshield banner for my truck... Sorry to say I'm advertising everyone else on the back glass but the front is going to be mine! The artwork is 5 foot wide and 7 inches tall in raw form... By monday I'm going back to town and have it cut... What you guys think??? (Sorry the pics is chopped in the right... ".Com")
