  1. Yes. Make sure the Edge Comp is unplugged before flashing. This just ensures there is nothing to goof up the flash process.
  2. Here is a example of how crowded. Went to Council, ID to take care personally stuff. Drove along at 55 MPH and ended up behind a semi and two other vehicles driving slow because it just snowed few hours before. Roads are just wet. But from my house to Council, ID in 1 hour exactly for 52 miles. Then got done there and turned around and went to Grangeville, ID and taken care of more up there. Idaho county is the largest county of Idaho State and it only got 1 traffic light in the entire county. Crowded??? Where? Go to a large city like Boise, ID and you'll see crowded.
  3. Join the club but I found that excessive pressure in the front promotes the wondering issues. Like scaled weight is 4,400 in the front. 4400 / 2 = 2200 / 3042 = 0.72 x 80 = 57.8 (58 PSI). The only change I've done is drop 5 PSI from the math to 53 PSI.
  4. Still say you've done a good job restoring the body paint to a good level of appearance for a rattle can.
  5. Not bad at all for what I see on my monitor.
  6. The best solvent that I was told for peeling all that baked on carbon and junk is Carb Dip. Just make sure to remove all rubber part before dipping.
  7. Now try doing the tire pressures like Wild and Free suggested it will change the way it runs too. Shocking but true.
  8. What year of truck you want? I might just have what you want...
  9. Where I'm at there is so little traffic till summer time then it gets a little busy but still not bad. Hard to get crowded when you have to either live on the benches of the canyon bottom above flood level or find a way to built at the top of the canyon and plow your own roads in and out.
  10. We had a winter but nothing like what I've seen in the past. Typically we have 2-3 feet of snow here and I spend nearly every day plowing snow. This year I think I plowed maybe 4-5 times.
  11. Heck last night I woke up at 2am to the sound of rain pouring down on the steel roof. I mean pouring down.
  12. Just take note of it. Might be just a fluke. I won't jump at changing thermostat right away.
  13. You an JAG1 need to get together and chat sometime. Sometimes you need a different point of view to understand what is going wrong.
  14. Strange enough spring start in February which was weird for us. We typically have snow on the ground yet and spitting snow off and through this month. Ummm... No. It would be a extremely cold ride and long walk home. This green??? Wait till April / May and the water is turned on. Then we'll have green grass. This is just half dead lawn from last year.
  15. It was a beautiful morning here so I grabbed the camera a shot a few pictures of the sun rising over the canyon.
  16. The factory amp is mount directly on the front speakers in the doors. There is one amp per side so there is a amp on left that drives all the left side speakers and then there is a amp in the right door for all the right side speakers.
  17. Pull the fuel filter out of the way. Then there is a Allen screw holding the plug into the ECM.
  18. Welcome to the family... First off did you test for excessive AC noise from the alternator? Grab a digital volt meter and test right at the alternator BATT terminal it should measure less than 0.1 AC volts. Second did you do the diagnostics for the error code? http://articles.mopar1973man.com/2nd-generation-24v-dodge-cummins/59-obdii-error-codes/151-p0122-apps-sensor-signal-voltage-too-low
  19. Time to collect warranty on the ABS computer and then check for alternator noise which should be below 0.1 AC Volts.
  20. Most likely from the top. You'll have to pull the stock fuel filter out completely and then your looking right at it.
  21. Vise grip would be in the way of valve retainers that you have to remove.
  22. Even if I follow his example... https://www.autorepairhelp.us/ But then certain amount of the members would most likely bail out to degree.
  23. Polishing aluminium is labor intensive. Back in the day I use to be a polisher of my Honda's. Today it really doesn't matter. I got to admit it does look really good...
  24. I'm all bumper pull trailers and hasn't change tire wear for me at all either way. Loading the truck bed or loading the trailer. But so far the soft tire pressure tend to add to the traction level a bit more giving less slip on steep dirt road grades.
