  1. Not sure what to say... He deserves the credit for making that article and helping so many with it. I know he said he was happy to help this community with his knowledge. Hope he's doing well after what he went through.
  2. I had similar problem, thought it was vp, between changing injectors, cleaning up wiring, rebuilding alternator (can just replace with a good unit) my surging went away and later I did the WT mod and it runs even better now.
  3. I know our frame is in 2 pieces with rivets mine has rust that has swelling and bulging between the two halfs. Guessing this was one of ways fiat saving money? Front half is not as thick as rear? Idk maybe something going on there ? Seems a lot of sled pulling guys folded these trucks in half before.
  4. Could be bushings in leaf springs, or like mentioned above something to do with lose ubolts, cracked springs, idk was just saying it could be something with the way rear end is behaving.
  5. I had a mustang that did that, ended up being one of the rear control arm bushings was going bad.
  6. Figured you might take it out of the vehicle, good for you you don't have to deal with it
  7. And now you get to fix it too... Oh that day is around a corner for me, unless my kids will be more successful in life then me and will just buy new vehicle every so often. Hard to plan for future these days with so much unknown...
  8. It's what @Mopar1973Man said, a fuse on a charge wire from alternator to pcm. There is an article here somewhere. In case alternator shorts out it will blow the fuse instead of pcm. WT is a very good mood that doesn't cost much and improves electrical stuff on our trucks.
  9. I don't think too many here know much about ppump conversions. @TFaoro was one of few that did, but hasn't been here in a while. There are few other guys that knew more that I haven't seen in sometime ether. Guessing all your lights are going nuts because ECM is not seeing vp signals and sounds like they cut some corners on throwing that truck together. It shouldn't need much to run since it's controlled mechanically now, I know there are few things that will no longer work correctly with the conversion, just don't remember what.
  10. Switching to led bulbs would help to reduce amp draw on wires.
  11. As long as we're all on the same page we'll be fine, problem is they try to devide us each and every way possible.
  12. Masks are just a stepping stone towards what's next, shots, then other things will come, slowly but surely. The agenda is moving forward as planned many years ago and yet so many are fooled and believe the garbage on tv. Don't think for a second it'll be same as a year ago, see china....? coming to town near you in not so distant future if we keep bending the way wind blows. This world has gone mad money rules, people sell out thinking they will be speared because they obey, in the end all will be in same the man that will save this place came here once before because none of us are good enough and it seems that he will be coming back soon maybe sooner then we think, if there are those that still do that.
  13. I tack welded mine
  14. you can say I've done a few things I'm not proud of it all seem to work out in the end
  15. Mine is old craftsman, stella going. Not sure what I'd buy next when needed.
  16. Labs are good dogs
  17. Ah the people in Russia... I love watching their road rage videos. But this one almost looked staged, I suppose anything is possible.
  18. My town driving is usually 16s in summer and 14s in winter on hwy I can still get low 20s in summer and 18s in winter if I drive around 60-65ish speed seems to be the killer for me, on rear occasion I can get 19 going 75
  19. I'm not experienced in tweens, but 35 over 472 with 150s and quad would be a good set up, I'd probably even go bigger on injectors with tweens.
  20. Same here, too many... I did a lot of random jobs for people that been screwed one way or another, wasn't hard to keep getting work as they told their friends about me. That's how it started for me, my first vehicle I got ripped off by a trusted friends mechanic and I didn't know any better until I overheard him one day bragging how he made so much on me. I went to the Sears and got my first tool kit, never went back to any shop since then, for alignment few times and tire mount maybe, that's it. Even then they manage to screw up and I had to go back to realign or rebalance. I think most of us on this forum have similar experiences that's why we all here.
  21. I see a lot more of ford on the road here too. Endless examples, try to pass not bothering anyone and they step on the gas so you can't, get behind them thinking they're going to pickup the speed, nope they slow right back, then second time I pas I don't give them any me nice guy. Last guy I confronted about a di.k move, he turned in to gas station and so did I, I asked his reasoning for not letting me pass, he didn't have an answer just a dumb look on his face, kept say just go just go, not sure what was wrong with him and many others. Anymore I have cruse set and if I see I'm coming up on someone I just step on it ahead of time so they don't have a chance to respond and get far enough ahead of them. For the most part it works but there is always these ford's that would catch up and ride your like now their pissed you passed them. Few even would pass me again and in few miles slow down so now I have to pass them again. Not sure what goes through their mind...
