Recommendation on Trailer Tires
Well it's 1119, almost a year old. Guess that's why they had best deal, they may get old stock my step dad doesn't care, he was going to use original tires, said 2000 is not that old I convinced him to change them, when I got it dismounted, I stepped on it and you can see giant crack pretty deep. He's happy that we got new ones

62 or Compounds?
I don't want to start thinking tweens, every time I think hard it happens, my wallet needs a break but it sounds so fun...

Recommendation on Trailer Tires
Great idea, the only problem is it's not offered in size that I need them.

Recommendation on Trailer Tires
Funny you mention that, I was already thinking what to tell Amazon in case that happens and how to convince them to send me fresh ones. Is there any laws or guidelines that tire salesman has to follow especially on trailer tires.

4th Gen shocks on 2nd gen?
I've done a lot of custom work when I was messing with cars and trucks back in the day, the only limit is your own imagination.

1999 3500 Cummins won't crank over
I think he had intermittent issues with it starting maybe and because he dropped the valve body, he thinks he damaged the switch inside of it because its cracked now and not functioning like it supposed to The trailer plug thing is funny though, I feel that any time I mess with anything something else comes up, we'll see what this installing a resonator brings

Productive day
Nice, it's worth a $1000 buy now if some engineer designed it

Muffler options.
Where is your fte again and how big ? It's never easy to tell sounds on video but seems good on yours, when you made little bit of noise in the cab it was easily heard over exhaust

Engine died driving down the road won't start.
Yes, that's why you see big guys keep reving it up few times after a race. Mine came close a few times, like it wanted to die but didn't. I have a mild set up and still i could tell it didn't like it. Could be a weak vp, who knows. I was about to change mine when I first got the truck thinking it was going out and it been 10 years since lol.

Muffler options.
I just measured my down pipe and it under 17" of round 4" tube closer to 14, I suppose there is only 12" of auger inside so it so it's possible to cut some off and make it work. I just don't know if that would restrict the flow in that section as like mentioned here before all the hot gasses will be trying to escape just after turbo. idk I'll let you all know as soon as I get it in there. Looks like I'll be fitting it starting between transmission and transfer case and ending about 16" before mufler. Keep in mind I have short bed.

Catch can
Sounds excessive to me, check for vacuum leaks

Iowa isn't much better, I try not to drive it in winter unless I absolutely have to

Muffler options.
Yeah I thought about putting a 17" in my 4" downpipe but wasn't sure if it'll restrict flow some so instead from reading a bunch, most had good luck putting it before the mufler and most used a 30" in that location, so I went with that. If I had more time and money I'd like to try all options and see all outcomes.

Recommendation on Trailer Tires
Got some 185/80/13 carsile in load D coming from amazon, we'll see. Rated at 1710 max, seen some on new boat trailers, same tires in gange C, which can be 1360 to 1570 load. I didn't pay attention last year and got a set of 1360 for my boat for almost $70 on discount tire, though it was a good deal lol, same tires on amazon in load D not C that I have is $49 Point is need to shop around before committing, or never look back

W-T ground mod
I'll have to ground my new resonator

Muffler options.
I'm leaving the mufler alone and will put this resonator as close forward as I can, we'll see what happens, can't get worse I hope. Being 5" I don't think there will be any losses in hp or egt change, at least that's what fte claims. Looks similar, I think my mufler is bigger around and not as rusty. Thanks for pictures

Muffler options.
Just ordered a 5x30 SS resonator RM5530SS from FTE with 4 clamps (need extras)and shipping $192, cheaper then anywhere else I found, didn't look that hard though. Since it's a 5" pipe and the magic is inside of it, I think I can fit it in just pass the transmission on the end of it and before the mufler that I got, which measures 9x23. Watched a lot of YouTube videos of the same resonator with everyone happy, so that was my excuse for wife, anything to keep her happy.

Muffler options.
That would be great, I can't find exact match on line, they probably changed over the years.

Muffler options.
I don't know if there is enough room there, need to investigate some more
-
Muffler options.
I've been reading a lot lately on this topic, need to figure out what PO put in my truck and go frome there. All I know is it got a 4" downpipe that turns to 5" after the bend at floor level and goes back to a muffler/resonator starting just under back part of the cab, then it bends around axle and comes out behind rear passenger tire. I'm hoping I have room for a resonator or a mufler someplace or maybe I can put in a different mufler in place of the one I have. Any easy way to tell what brand of exhaust I have? I don't think there will be much of hp loss on a 5" exhaust with my mods adding things.

struggling to build boost
What are your goals, I wouldn't waste money on testing your injectors if you're buying rv275 or whatever. You need to decide where you're going first, or you'll be buying parts again and again.
