  1. I think with your set up your definitely need more timing and maxout can bus sooner. Then need some work on wiretap if you're using that option.
  2. You're probably attracting naighbor mosquitoes to your place with that thing, put it away from the house so they all go party there. That's how I got rid of ants in the house, I dumped a pile of sugar way in back yard and they somehow smelt it and left, haven't seen any in a while. They also don't like cinnamon from what I hear.
  3. Beyond me, but I agree with the above and your thought process. Have you done the WT ground mod and checked your alternator to prevent future ecm failures.
  4. Did you have a sign of them going bad like miss at idle. This has always been my fear of aftermarket injectors, they just seem to have way more problems then originals. I'm hoping mine will last at least a 100k but somehow I'm not sure. Getting tired of pulling injectors for random reasons. I would like to get a pop tester soon just so u can start playing with my old take outs, they only have 10k on them be interesting to see where they're at. What tester you got ?
  5. Nets are bad here in Iowa, some mosquitoes also. Been a really wet spring this year. Leave me some
  6. It can be complicated at first, it takes time to figure out its full potential. Not everyone wants to waste time on it, some want plug and play. Problem with plug and play is it's very limited to what can be accomplished. Another reason is if you stay at or below 50hp injectors, you may be happy with just a simple box that has boost fooling and few settings to chose from. Imo if you're going to spend the money might as well get the quad, just don't get the 4k one, it's more for drag strip then dd.
  7. Quadzilla with v2 tuning would be my suggestion. It's not for everyone as we're finding out, but most should be able to figure it out.
  8. Not sure if you got the joke, I was referencing back to future
  9. That's the difference, on will come out of back and one from side. Just see where your stud comes out.
  10. Mine has Dana M80 I believe it's 80 in the pumpkin and 70 on hubs.
  11. Honestly from what I read in your posts you take care of your truck and don't neglect stuff. I would just change oil and filter and see what happens. If your oil is somewhat new, then just change the filter. What filter brand ate you using.
  12. This one guy I know in his 60s works on diesel engines said he drains oil and puts diesel fuel in for flushing. All the waste he burns in winter in his oil furnace. Not sure if using fuel is good enough but works for him i guess.
  13. I was going to suggest changing a filter, just never know. What filter are you using currently?
  14. Mine is not as bad , but more than once I thought about what if and every time a rust free cab sounded like a good idea.
  15. That's why I'm staying at level 3 on the quad. Whither my turbo and 7x10 I can get to where I need and stay just below going in danger zone. If i use wiretap, it will be more powerful but will get in high egts and boost. I'm happy with maxing out canbus and staying safe.
  16. As long as he doesn't go over 88 mph he should be safe.
  17. Personally I do the axle swap, cheaper easier and you can always keep your old axles in case you want to change back. Unless you're pretty confident in doing gear swap yourself then maybe that's the route to go.
  18. I dd it around town and on short trips like half hour to an hour max, it was fun getting gas and just going places, always had someone crawling under it when I came out of store or something lol, then 20 minutes later I'd be on the way. Cops didn't even bother me for the most part, only few times when they seen me crossing the river by roler damb lol, should of seen fishermen eyes it was priceless. I had a lot of fun, wouldn't change anything about that passed. Miss it sometimes, but life goes on.
  19. That was my next step is put a cummins in it, life changed and that's how I got my 02 now.
  20. True, when I was in mud letting it have it probably did like 10 gallons to a mile, but cruising around I could still squeeze 10-12 mpg out of it.
  21. For what it's worth this truck I used to have did about 12-14 mpg when I got it (pretty much stock with 350sbc) and then I jacked it up and was getting 10-12 mpg with built bbc, comfortable crusing speed was around 60-65 mph. It had michilens 1600 r 20 rims and tires weigh close to 400lb and 6.72 ratio in axles.
  22. I think all of this Madness that is happening in the world today can be easily resolved by those with money and power, but I'm afraid it's not what they want for the end game, at least for the majority of population. It's a sad false reality no doubt about it.
  23. These guy's built a lot of turbos http://www.northamericanturbo.com/ they may give you
