  1. I'm kinda remembering something about it, it was all staged I'm sure.
  2. Those that give you most crap are the ones to keep
  3. There are still some good people out there, but it's getting more rear to find.
  4. Not the June bugs...
  5. Who's that butt plugger
  6. I just got a vw jsw with 2.0l diesel, I'm slowly falling in love with it. I did a few mods already for dependability and been getting steady 49-51 mpg so far, mostly hwy. If I stay at 55-60mph I can probably get close to 60mpg. If I step on it, it's like a mini Cummins just pushes you in the seat and goes all the way to 5000 rpm.
  7. I was probably talking about kickdown cable, tells you how much I know about automatic transmissions.
  8. Luckily I know nothing about automatic transmission other than it works off pressure. On older gm 350 and 400 I messed with, all I did was pull the clip for TV cable then press throttle all the way and locked in the clip. Worked fine for what I did, which was bit the crap out of it mudding.
  9. But in all honesty when I got the quad back in the day, I went with it for simple fact that they didn't charge you extra for hot unlock and it seemed to had more options. Fast forward few years I was starting to wish I got an edge. Then for whatever reason I kept it and finally Nick put in his work into making what quad should of been from the beginning. Now I love it, but can't really compare it to anything else. Quad is the only reason I went with 7x10 and bigger turbo. I'm able to get close to 20mpg if I drive nice and if I get on it its a race truck. I think pop pressure definitely plays a role in how clean it runs, after a year I'm smoking a bit more, which my guess is injectors are sattleling down on pressure. I requested 320 bar and they ran extremely clean when installed. Anyway if you get time and read how it works and all the adjustments you can make, it would make sense why it's a better tuner on a vp truck. I honestly don't see myself without it now. It does take a long time to work bugs out, just to make a perfect tune. You can get close buy using someone else's tune with same set up, to get 100% out of it you need to know exactly what it does. They had some issues with connecting and whatever else but seems to be more with iso, Droid works better imo. Haven't heard much bad about it lately. No one is paying me to say this. I do agree quad is not for everyone. For some it's best to go with RV275 and a fooler.
  10. Does sound sketchy, but anything is possible. Sorry no good answers here.
  11. I went through it myself, not saying that's your problem. Turbos are not that common to fail imo. I guess anything is possible. Only one way to find out.
  12. You'd think someone would have opened a business across the pond by now. Must not be enough demand
  13. I'm using fleetguard from Cummins, blue in color. A lot of people use whatever and get away, with my luck I'll have cylinder wall pitting if I'll use wrong stuff.
  14. Use any tune you want that works best, just stay on level 3 and wire tap will not work. Anything above 3 uses wiretap, the more levels you chose the more it splits the power. I use 6 levels to get to max power sooner, but mostly stay on level 3.
  15. Best to take valve cover off and inspect the seals, see if they are tore or worked their way up of the seats. Its possible especially with exhaust break, some get lucky others don't.
  16. That was a first part I changed on my truck when I first got it.
  17. I have this from rockauto Seems beefy, joints were not greasable I drilled and tapped grease zirks. You could probably find it cheaper elsewhere
  18. That's still way better than a lot of other ways I can think off
  19. I figured it out long ago, most dealers are retarded, especially the ones selling parts. Bunch of zombies. They couldn't find their own dikk with a compass and a flashlight.
  20. I hope it's not just my phone that does this
  21. Maybe you just starched the cables, what brand are they.
  22. I had decent luck with discount tire, plus they been opening stores all over the place. They have 2 websites, one for store and one for wholesale.
