  1. I'm making a transition from self employed landscaper to leather worker. Body just won't take the physical work anymore. Pushing 60 years old. It's a young mans game. Too many illegals driving wages down. In 30 years things have changed a lot! Used to be able to make a decent living. My spiritual life is good. Wish my wife was on the same path. Causes friction. But we are doing good.
  2. In general, I believe that the Catholic Church has been off course for a long time. We're told to not make idols of anything but God. But the pope seems to me to be a figure placed on a pedistal. People flock by the millions to see him. Becoming more politically correct and softening their stance on issues which are very clear in scripture seems wrong. Jesus is the head of the church. Is he welcome and does he feel welcome in your church? Or is he knocking on the door asking if he can come in?
  3. What's amazing is that all these things are fore told in the bible. Look at the fall of Israel. The harbinger is another one to look at. I sent this video to the most leraned person who know on the bible. We'll see what he says. At the very least, in my opinion the Catholic Churches stance on global warming points to a lack of faith in God. And places the faith in man. Not good.
  4. You should do a video and put in articles section.
  5. What about calling a GOOD front end shop? Maybe they can source longer lasting ball joints? John's Alignment in Portland Oregon does most of the government work around the area including TRI-MET busses.
  6. Especially for those who will be paying to have them installed, there's got to be a solution that's has more longevity.
  7. Awesome looking camper. Welcome!
  8. Don't forget...Christ is the reason for the season. Born today many years ago to begin a new covenant of grace. Many of the Old Testament covenants became no longer valid. Christ was the blessing given to all who accept him. Love and grace replaced sacrifice.
  9. I am primarily asking about jumping others.
  10. All this talk about bad alternators makes me nervous about jumping other vehicles. Is there a SAFE way to do it?
  11. You mean wearing a tinfoil hat won't fix it? That was high on my list of things to try.? We should probably be thankful that the a/c ripple causes a noticeable effect. Since it can have a ripple effect into so many other things...ECM, PCM, VP problems and even trashing them. Using a go around to the problem is a sure way to spend a lot of money on other stuff.
  12. Nothing like old school CHAINS on all 4 tires. I carry a full set in my truck for emergency use. Offroad mostly in snow.
  13. I'm pretty sure that's all that would move enough to hit the diff cover.
  14. The use of some aftermarket track bar bushings require popping a dimple in the diff cover for clearance. Might be your issue.
  15. Scratch Oregon off your list. Too liberal and drives me crazy! Idaho as long as you can make a living or semi retire.
  16. I do predator hunting. Bobcat and cougar mostly. No dogs, bobcat at night with spotlights and calling cougar. A group of us go each February to a mule deer wintering area in central Oregon. Let me know if any of you want to go cougar hunting about Valentine's Day.
  17. Set required for each axle of trailer. I'd be comfortable with studded snows on truck and chained trailer. Just gotta keep things going straight and not have the trailer going sideways behind you.
  18. Here in Oregon you need chains on each axle. I've seen snowmobilers with big covered trailers on the mountain passes before. Bet it's a bit of a white nuckle affair.
  19. Christ's second coming is near. Lots of grief ahead. Better hunker down and get good with God.
  20. Why is that? Seems like it'd be good for determining TDC for each cylinder during valve seal replacement with head left on.
  21. Need to link up to our Amazon store.
  22. Price you pay for re-engineering the front end of the truck.
  23. Had an interesting message yesterday. About blessings in prayer...we often ask to be blessed or to bless our food, etc.. Well, since Christ we've been given the biggest blessing we could ask for. God gave us Christ and the promise of eternal life. What more could we ask for? We need to turn it around in prayer...bless God. Our new motto should be...America Bless God. Not God Bless America. He's already blessed us more than we can ask for.
  24. Back in the day, I worked in a pizza parlor. We had the Atari club meeting once a month there in the banquet room. Bunch of Sheldon Cooper types. Pocket protectors, slide rulers, etc.. Texas Instruments had one of the best early calculators too. Good to know Michaels roots. Lol. The Techtronics guys were more fun. Come off swing shift and drink mass quantities of beer. Had a lot of boat people working there too. They'd say "beeah". You could ask them...blue cheese? They'd nod yes. Lol. Very limited communication skills. Didn't have to worry too much about DUII back then. Can remember cars weaving all over the road on a regular basis. Defensive driving meant something back then. You could tell the drinkers on my paper route too. Ruts along driveway and smashed up garage doors. Good old days!
