I did the rebuild parts fass sent me. I told them to give me a better spring it was the same fp. I yanked on it and tested it, yanked some more until i was happy. If you have the old one try it or pull on one of them. If you have two of them you cant go wrong. Before i pulled on the spring i set it up next to the weak pressure spring. Then i made it just a taste bigger.

Do you have a gauge for the fuel pressure ? If yes what was it before the ball/spring change?I did a ball/spring change on my fass with no problems. I would check again, my 2nd ball had a funky burr around it so i shaved it berore the install.I never ran that chip/box/programmer thing you have, sorry. maybe the pump is going bad i am on m y 2nd pump. it was real loud when it was on. fass has an upgrade for the old pumps. give them a call with the pump #'ers.

You can also park the truck down hill to see if you have drain back.

If you are asking me about the springs i dont know my truck is used.

I have a hushpower. Look them up,they clame dyno hp. I cant say about the noise because ....well i have a 2nd gen and stacks so mine is no cr sounding truck at all.I will say i wish it was stainless because it is rusting, so keep that in mind as well.

If the blend ratio is different with them is it really fair? I see 200/1 on the 2 stroke.

When you turn the key but not starting it, do you here the lift pump run ? Check the tank lines to the lift pump. Check the filter out. If it burps and spits it could mean it is short on fuel.As for the vp pump the key way is the bugger on these. As well as the gear it self. Did you put the key way in correct. it has to go in one way. Did the pump shop tape the key way in place when thay shipped it ? If the gear it self moved and it is no longer dot to dot that would make it burp and spit.When it is cold and you run it how does it run ? Just like when it was new ? How does it run when you start it cold and warm it up,say on a ten mile run ? How does it run at 2000 + rpm loaded (up a big hill)?Dont rule out a bad pump. I had one. Had to send it back.

My truck came with a edge comp box it is a drag comp. I had problems only once. I called edge and they fixed it FREE. They are good people to deal with. I set mine at 5x5. I dont change it at all no matter what i do with the truck.

Wow you have a few more leafs than me. Thats the same camper from the looks of it. One more thing the guy had on mine is the extention bars on the hitch. they were welded into both ends.When i put 2500 in the bed i figured i was pushing it. Maybe i can go a little more ?

it is old and crusty. I dont use the air bags the ride is way to stiff when it is empty. The guy before me put a camper in the bed. anyone know how much them things weight?

Maybe he thinks they are hard on the vp's ? I have never run it in my truck. I too like the price of it.What system are you going to buy ? Did you have to cut into the wire harness ?

You can make a jig and weld one on. I will be doing this in spring. I want to be able to have a built in towbar. If i kill my truck again my buddys can pull me home. What were you planing for yours ?

I have a friend who is in his late 60's. He was a trucker all his life. Long long time ago they would run atf in the fuel. He never had a problem. I dont run it.

To me the problem is everybody thinks they can multitask. I come from a musical family all the way back to great grand parents. I can multitask. I can talk (not text) wile driving. I do think i am a better driver when i am not on the phone. After 20 + years of talking wile driving i have not had even a close call. I am for the ban. I will stop if it is put into law.
