I posted that a few days ago before it made landfall but it wouldn't go through. I'm not sure why it just showed up now but my apologies, no joking matter now...

It's kind of hard to tell from the picture but I wonder if that's an optional spot for the dipstick tube. A lot of motors that are installed in a bus or stationary equipment for example will have the dipstick moved for clearance issues.- replacing or relocation intercoolers/rad
I thought this was going to be a manual transmission? Perhaps you're talking about the power steering cooler and not the trans cooler?- Push starting a manual transmission Cummins

The Minneapolis area got hit harder, its it's a mess down there. But for $2800 I think I could call in sick to work.- Morning Pic For Today...........Post A Pic around your place.....
Also a beautiful spring day here in northern MN. This was taken yesterday afternoon, we got about a foot as of this morning. I've about had it with winter! This is video from Saturday of a very angry Lake Superior a few miles down the shore from me. For reference those are 20-30 foot tall rock faces the waves are crashing into.- Borgeson steering box
It will work just fine with the stock power steering pump. As long as your steering shaft is in good shape it shouldn't make much of a difference but I believe there's an adapter you'll need to go from steering box to factory shaft.- Utility/Landscape Trailer
Word of advice. Assuming it has bearing buddies, bring a grease gun and give each one a few pumps. Most new trailer bearings are installed dry then some grease is pumped through the bearing buddy.- Utility/Landscape Trailer
If in doubt always go bigger. For less than $4000 you can get a brand new 20 foot 10,000 pound car hauler. Super handy to have around even if you don't need the weight capacity. Also if these tanks are 8' wide do you plan on blocking them up so they will sit above the fenders?- Morning Pic For Today...........Post A Pic around your place.....
The drifts are getting to be chest deep! Another sure fire way to measure snow depth is just toss a 4 year old boy into the front yard. If he disappears then yep that's a lot of snow.- Morning Pic For Today...........Post A Pic around your place.....

- Oil change interval question
With t6 and a good filter you can very easily run the oil out to at least 10,000 miles. I've done oil analysis out to 20,000 on t6 (filter change at 10k) and the oil was still in great shape. If you want to change at 7,500 save some money and switch it back to regular oil. Change it once a year. Dumping 3 gallons of oil every 2,500 miles isn't necessary.- Lets see who you are!

I believe you meant to say: Those are fighting words....Eh- Front Axle CAD Vacuum Actuator to Manual Posi Lock
I've had mine for about 4 years and no real complaints. It can be a little screwy to get it engaged/disengaged but no worse than waiting for the vacuum cad. Just make sure you get it engaged before you need 4wd or you'll be trying to rock the truck back and forth while pulling on the knob and inventing new curse words. To disengage: I've found that if you're rolling forward at slow speed hold inward pressure on the knob and stab the brake pedal a few times. Seems to help align things and pops right out. For routing the cable, I would go straight out from the firewall over the motor mount and make a long sweep down to the axle. Mine is routed differently and has some tightish bends and that might be why it gets a little sticky sometimes.- Suspension
http://www.zenithspring.com/index.html This is where I get U bolts from, they will make any custom size you want. You'll need to measure the width of your leaf spring, length and diameter of the U bolt. I'm assuming you have a 9/16" diameter bolt but the easiest way to check is see what size wrench fits over the threaded portion of the bolt.- SUV talk...go
So what's the reason for no cap? Just so people don't forget to put the cap back on?- Abnormal Braking
A bad wheel bearing can make for some strange braking but it is usually just a pull. If it's an ABS issue I would pull the fuse and drive it for a few days leaving ample room between you and any Hondas to see if that cures it. You'll probably lose your speedometer but I'd rather lose that than the brakes.- Manual Trans Conversion - Seeking Advice/Tips/Issues/etc
Have you checked the transfer case vent?- Another battery thread.....
Interstates and OE batteries are the only batteries I can get to last more than a couple years. Wife's 05 suburban still has the factory acdelco. 6 year old interstate in her car. 8 year old deep cycle interstate in the 1958 John Deere. 4 year old interstates in the cummins. Carquest in the 68 F100 died in less than two years and it only lived outside in the summer. Group 27 Deka didn't last two years in my plow truck. Replaced it with one of the old half wore out interstates from the cummins, and works fine after 2 years. A Motorcraft from my brothers 07 powerstroke gets rotated through various other "yard art" and still has plenty of power. - OIL LEAK FOUND Need help
