  1. If there is a difference in tire size from what was original on the truck it will skew the overhead readings.
  2. There are many guys with straight piped rigs. Semis are straight piped as well. Just depends if you are willing to listen to a little extra "noise"!
  3. I use Vulcan Performance. Have an Isspro. No problems with it. Get one for upto 30 psi.
  4. http://articles.mopar1973man.com/2nd-generation-24v-dodge-cummins/59-obdii-error-codes/181-p0380-intake-air-heater-relay-1-control-circuit http://articles.mopar1973man.com/2nd-generation-24v-dodge-cummins/59-obdii-error-codes/191-p0501-vehicle-speed-signal-rationality Here is info on your codes. But after your last post, there are other concerns as well. When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? Your pressure is dropping way too much! Check for kinks in the line, filter clogged and or a clog in the tank. Good luck! --- Update to the previous post... My is that I would turn it down to 20 psi. I have read where some guys run higher, but, the feeling on the forum is no higher than 20 psi at idle.
  5. Is the injection pump original? Have you checked for codes? You can have codes without the CEL on.
  6. I googled the numbers. Looks like it is a stock fuel pump from Dodge. My is that it is not worth trying to fix. You would be beeter off to put your money towards a FASS, AirDog, or Raptor set up.
  7. Welcome to the site! There are 2 ways. First you can goto your local parts store and they can do it. Usually free. Second. Turn key switch on, off, on, off, on (never starting it) look in the odometer window. write down codes (should be P...) write them down and repost them and then we can help more. It will say P done twice! Wait for it twice! Good luck!
  8. Welcome to the forum!
  9. Easiest way to find out is to go online with either AutoZone or Oreileys and punch in the type of vehicle for each year and see if the part #'s match. Answer would be done in 5 minutes!
  10. Reduce your weight and be careful with the skinny pedal.
  11. Follow the instructions that came with it. I know when I put on a TIMBO unit it had specific instructions for setting it up!
  12. I get mine from NAPA. Made by Permatex. Part #'s are: 765-1155 &765-1154.
  13. Are you using any thread sealant on the fuel lines? I had a similar problem thought I had my fittings tight. Finally put some spray sealant on the fuel fittings and problem fixed!
  14. He gets a A+ in my book!
  15. Glad you got it figured out. Just didn't want to see you be upset when the VP goes south!
  16. Is your VP the original? With those type of pressures your on borrowed time. Just putting on your AD 100 is going to help but it is not going to repair any damage done with your low pressure that your showing.

  18. Welcome aboard!
  19. MY is what ever batteries you get are: replace both at the same time, make sure the cca are at least above what your vehicle minimums are, and reserve capacity is high as well. I use AutoZone Golds my self. No Problems at all with them!
  20. If this is the one your thinking of http://www.gillettdiesel.com/delphifeedpump.aspx I personally would shy away from it. It looks like it is a replacement for the pump mounted on the block, it has a 1 year warranty (FASS, AirDog, and Raptor are lifetime), and there are no specs given on it. Just my .
  21. Welcome!
  22. I have heard that there is another VIN number stamped somewhere else other than the one on the dash. Maybe that was what he was looking for?
  23. Might check your grounds. Specifically under the drivers side battery. I have heard of this causing this type of problem before. Good luck!
  24. I am sure you can get it. Just have to ask the right question! You can get it for your house and its belongings. Normal home insurance pro-rates the value of your belongings. For a couple of dollars more you get replacement cost.
