  1. Welcome to the site! The lift pump can be on the side of the block by the fuel filter or in the tank. If the truck has a fuel pressure gauge what are the readings at idle and WOT. This bit of info can tell alot as to the potential health of your VP.As for the APPS, DO NOT buy it from the dealer! They are way over priced! A lot of us get a TIMBO unit. I don't have a link as to where to buy it at. Someone else will chime in!Not sure what your thinking as to the tranny. Drain the fluid, add new fluid, disconnect the front line of the tranny and start it up and let some of the old fluid be pushed out as well. Refill and check your level. A tranny flush with a machine is not recommended for these trannies!Good Luck!

  16. Welcome to the forum!Sounds like you are on the right track. Got gauges. What is your fp without the gauges? Are you running 2 stroke in the fuel to help lubricity?
  17. Check Geno's. I thought I saw a kit in a magazine that they just sent me. I threw it away already.
  18. Have you recently gotten rid of the puke bottle? I would think that you are losing oil even on a normal day. You might read this: http://articles.mopar1973man.com/2nd-generation-24v-dodge-cummins/26-engine-systems/42-crankcase-vent-mod I am sure others with more knowledge will chime in.

  20. What does everyone think of having a section for parts numbers for our trucks? Maybe a section for the engine, tranny, and drivelines. As each one of us buys a part we could add to the list and each of us would be giving back a little to the site. If I am for bringing this up then you can give me a .
