  1. What are the normal numbers a person should see from the IAT sensor this time of the year? This being without a diode stuffed into the wiring connector or having one of Prowelders setup hooked up! I see about 107*. Thanks for any help.
  2. Yea, time for a new VP. Sorry. There are a couple of vendors here that sell VP's. Good luck.
  3. http://forum.mopar1973man.com/threads/2573-P0251-Fuel-Inj-Pump-Mech-Failure-Fuel-Valve-Feedback-Circuit No listing for 0594. 1693 is a companion code, just telling you there are codes present. How did you read your codes?
  4. HexMike is going to have to upgrade the site if this story gets any longer!
  5. Welcome to the site. Since no one else has asked, where is Estonia?
  6. Tank is only 2 nuts, just have the tank as empty as possible. Disconnect the fuel filler and over flow hoses, before you drop the tank completely disconnect the wires on top of the tank. Shouldn't take all day, unless you have a beer brake after every turn of the wrench!
  7. 1 1/4 or 1 1/16 in my case. Old one was the smaller size, new one was the larger. Also, deep socket.
  8. Welcome to the site! That is why we put 2 cycle in for the lube qualities.
  9. What did you use to check for codes? I know you said your pressure is good but what are the numbers? Sometimes that info tells alot! Have you checked your fuel filter?
  10. I would love to hear from the purchaser after 6 monthes of use. Imagine the price of a fuel pump, injection pump, changing all of the fluids, new tires (I would be leary of using 10 year old tires), hoses, and repair of any leaks from non use for such a long time!
  11. When the thread was going on leaf springs I was amazed at how many different set ups there were on our trucks. Rogan, are we still friends? LOL
  12. I thought I had logged onto CF for a moment! I guess I will take my:spank: now. I don't know about my suspension, but I couldn't see the truck's appearance look any different than before. My truck rides like a tank even empty. Compared to our 95 Ford F150 and I put 200-300# in the back the trucks front end lifts up quite a lot. Maybe I am going:cookoo: for my earlier post.
  13. I have hauled 6000+ lbs. of gravel in mine. Surprised me when I went over the scales! Didn't make my truck squat in the slightest. No problem with driving either. I don't know if having a shortbed made it any better or not.
  14. That is where mine is hooked at and my volts drop. I don't know why there is a difference. I remember a big thread on this topic quite some time ago but, I can't find it. Must not be searching for the right words!

    Welcome to the site.
  16. The psi drop with the grid heaters on is normal. But, mine only drops 1-2 psi when mine kicks on. Don't know if you have aproblem with your 4-5 psi drop. Hopefully someone with an AirDog will chime in.
  17. Not if you're planning on using a stock lift pump. IMHO. Also, 1/2" lines are more than enough to keep the LP from starving. Pressure is the key to get the pump from starving.
  18. I believe that is Murphy's Law. I am the same though. Just tools. I give the truck a good once over before I leave for a long haul. Lot easier to do any work in the comfort of your own garage than along side of the road!
  19. Now, I can see why they are expensive! Lot of labor involved in making a gauge.
  20. Do you think I was pushing the issue of my starter clicking? Started about 2-3 weeks ago, I ordered a rebuilt kit for it immediately. Well, Last night went to the movies and it was the worst it has been ever, then wehen I left it did the same. So, that was a BIG hint to get thew contacts changed! Not bad at all to do! Glad I did it before I was stranded somewhere!
  21. Welcome to the forum.
  22. Which are we talking about an AirDog pump or Raptor pump?
  23. That is exactly what I was thinking to do! Just have to order a longer wire to get from there to the port.
  24. Well, it finally happened! My console quit working. Went to start the truck up this morning and no information showing. The lights and the security system still work though. Sad thing is I keep finding my self looking up for the temp. reading. I wonder how long it is going to take for me to quit that pattern! LOL
  25. I have one on my truck. Can set it for 1-5 minutes or forever. Have not had any problems with it. Doors can be locked plus, even if I leave it unlocked and you press the brake pedal it shuts everything down until the key is used again.
