  1. I had an 03' hemi 2500 aam axles. I used amsoil 75-90 with no issues.
  2. dpc triple low stall, tcs(usa) billet input, bd flexplate, all upgraded internals, raybestos blue clutches. It was a local build, not sure what they did to the valve body. Valve body and torque converter are the biggies for shifting. Did you and Dynamic talk stall speed on the TC? Last month I swapped out some 100hp vcos for 100hp sacs and swapped the edge comp for a quadzilla xzt...it's smokey down low with the low stall TC and super b turbo. I liked the stall of stock TC much better.
  3. I'll poke the fire...after all my tranny work, I still want a manual. Having complete control over shifts can't be beat. Daily driving, stuck in bumper to bumper traffic frequently would be the only downside to a manual, in my opinion. Cost wise between a built auto and manual is comparable, minus the labor time for the manual swap. After upgrading to a low stall triple disc, billet input and billet flexplate, I probably have close to $5k in the tranny, and I still don't like the shifting. My biased opinion.
  4. oil and work it/spin/twist and pull, Sneak your fingers in between the vanes?
  5. 7/8" ID. Hard hose size to get locally. CPP diesel has it, expensive. Look under turbo oil return lines.
  6. I checked the flexplate through the viewport last year and didn't see any cracks but I think I'll have to drop the tranny just to make sure. I'm starting to think it's the flexplate.
  7. Finally swapped out injectors for new ones, still pinging and panging under load. Sounds like it's coming from the VP. Any ideas? Only when the torque converter is locked under load. I'm frustrated...
  8. Where's Tbo? He's not far. I'd shoot over but I'm on a jobsite in New York. New belt, new water pump, super easy.
  9. What do you have for gears? I have 3.02s which is a real dog and I need to keep it in manual mode just to make up some hills...
  10. Ebay, OEM Mopar shaft, $130. I had the dorman for a very short time and had the same exact thing.
  11. Nice truck! DW, I highly recommend a Hellwig rear sway bar. Really helps out body roll and makes towing a lot better. Riding empty is even better.
  12. Did you replace everything with the stock "Y" style steering set-up or the upgrade HD ("T") style? When I got my truck I replaced everything with moog "Y" style and the truck was tight for a while. After about 20k miles I had bumpsteer again, but everything was still pretty tight. After upgrading to new "T" style, truck is much more firm, more controlled, no bumpsteer.
  13. WHATTTTTT! I've haven't gotten over 18mpg in 40,000 miles! 2013 Chevy 1500 MPG.xlsx
  14. Add 1 quart at a time, since you don't have a drain plug to easily drain extra.
  15. 5 to 7 quarts, depending on your setup and how long you wait for fluid to drain. I was told to put it in neutral when draining also. Aftermarket tranny pan?
  16. Check out gillette diesel. I have ordered multiple housings and wheels from them, all genuine holset. A slight upgrade to a 58mm or 60mm wheel and housing is not that expensive also.
  17. I'll tell you in a week or so when I install the Borgeson sitting in my closet. Rehead was loose after a couple months and Bluetop was loose out of the gate. Local builder in Ohio was loose after a couple months and had no low rpm assist. There's my debbie downer story
  18. Follow the install directions to the "T" on those bolts. I stretch broke a couple checking the torque spec after rotating 90 degrees. Running them for over 5k miles with no leaks.
  19. Yes, service kit!
  20. I ordered those bolts from mcmaster-carr.com, I think.
  21. Passenger shakes at idle only, not even that badly. Driving down the road, both are just fine.
  22. JCW03DAY16 jcwhitney 15% off http://www.jcwhitney.com/kool-vue-oe-replacement-power-mirror/p3038526.jcwx?skuId=7539392&filterid=d50370y2001g2j1
  23. Not a great site, but a good one for me. Old Dodgey working on my Parent's new house up in Maine...half a mile from the beach
  24. I'd like to hear back about spooling and temps on this one
