  1. http://cppdiesel.com/7-8-high-temp-silicone-oil-drain-hose/ I think it's 7/8"
  2. I had to heat the drain tube with torch and used pliers to flatten it out near the flange. Then it didn't line up perfectly with the rubber, so I had to cut it back and get a longer piece of hose to make the connection.
  3. I think the valve body needs to be set up perfectly with a single disc and higher power. My single was slipping in lockup with 350-400hp. Now I have a triple disc and billet input, same valve body, no slipping. One friction surface holding 800+ ft-lbs of torque...
  4. http://www.cascadetransmissionparts.com/47regovernorpressureservicekit2000up.aspx Spend the $150, do it yourself. Plus 7 quarts of atf+4
  5. Nations. Don't know how accurate their website is, probably need to call https://www.nationsstarteralternator.com/180-Amp-HP-High-Output-Alternator-for-2000-Dodge-p/13823-180-hp.htm
  6. Gear ratio? I've got 3.55s and 285 tires and I'm going to down size when these tires wear out. Leveled and bigger tires needs and adjustable track bar with the 3rd gen bracket, eliminates ball joint connection at frame for a bushing. 2010 "T" style steering linkage if you're replacing tie rods anyways.
  7. No sealer. I did the same thing, I think I put the plate in first, then snuck the gasket in.
  8. Ohh figures, worth a try. I was hoping someone might have tried NAPA severe duty or performance frictions or something like that. My cousin has power stop z36s on his f250, carbon fiber infused ceramic?? We installed them and they were aggressive empty, but he hasn't towed with them yet, jurys not out.
  9. After driving around my 1/2 ton for so long, the dodge brakes just don't compare. Has anyone tried a more aggressive pad? Just got my truck back from the shop, brake system is fine, system was flushed and bled. I ran EBC greenstuff when I first got the truck, they grabbed great unloaded, once hot and loaded with weight, those ceramics wouldn't hold. Now I have NAPA semi metallic, they work but I want more. Not worried about burning up my front rotors as long as my truck stops better. Exhaust brake is out of the question and my 16" rims and tires have plenty of life so 3rd gen brake upgrade is out too. Looking at performance frictions

  11. Keep the 4th gen rims
  12. Did you try oem mopar? I'm not sure who makes the oem belt, I know the tensioner is dayco. My local shop said run oem or it'll squeal. I've been running oem mopar belt and tensioner for a couple years, only squeaks on shutoff.
  13. That is the updated "stepped" case, so you shouldn't have to tab it, same on my 01'. That hole should be smaller than the dowel.
  14. Did you end getting a billet input shaft?
  15. Harbor freight 3/4" breaker bar and a 4 foot stick of metal pipe to slip over it
  16. Thanks @jlbayes, hoping it's just my turbo to downpipe connection that's making noise. 7x.009 SACs appear to be more smokey than 7x.009 VCOs. DAPs vs DFIs too.
  17. Only driven it 3 times since doing that, only about 30 mins each time. My sticker expired and I have spongey brakes. Hopefully fixing it this long weekend. They didn't blow yet, double worm clamped each connection.
  18. I did the same as dripley. I think there's a little stub or nipple on the firewall where the condensation drips outs. It can drain back into the cab. Use a shop vac or air compressor or both and make sure it's not clogged, then use a band clamp and some hose.
  19. Was it hissing or growling that you could hear?
  20. I hooked up a fernco and pvc fitting to the turbo, ran 20psi through it and had air coming out the crankcase breather and turbo to downpipe connection. Sprayed what I could see of the intercooler with soapy water, no bubbles on the end tanks or boot connections. No bubbles on the manifold or anywhere else. Are these intercoolers known to leak in the middle? Meaning pull the intercooler and test it individually?
  21. Anyone know who makes the oem intercooler? I think I read somewhere it was Valeo? VALEO 817151 I think mine is leaking somewhere, need to do a boost leak test next weekend to verify, and I can't justify spending almost $900 for a Mishimoto, the cheapest one, when I can get oem for $400. Correct me if I'm wrong, but an aftermarket intercooler isn't going to net me much of anything with 100hp injectors, super b, quadzilla xzt and not towing really heavy.
