  1. You have got plenty, I think when I have done mine a couple times 4ish gallons was about what it took.
  2. If you have not heard of or read Joel Skousens book "Strategic Relocation" I would recommend it. It is what I keep on my coffee table and it is a very popular read when people see it. Makes me glad I live in ND, the oil boom is bringing in folks from all over the nation who are causing some disturbances, there have been a couple of killings here and they are out of staters killing each other in the oil patch. The Latest killer was from Idaho. Here is another article that just came out too. http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/americas-death-zones-where-not-to-be-when-it-hits-the-fan_04042013 Here is a site I have in my favorites list and look at for the articles which are good at times, the discussion afterwards usually pisses me off as it is seems to be an extreme Liberal leftist Al Gore duped mentality site. http://www.off-grid.net/ http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=jzjm9MJFSA8 http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=SKtCt8Skvw4
  3. Always been a fan of Dodges, our family had several before the Cummins came along in the 80's and 90's and then it was a match made in heaven when the 2nd gen came along, although my dad bought one of the first off the line he got an 89 cummins 4wd chassis cab 3500!
  4. Reminds me of the fellow who pondered the long debated question between women and men. What hurts more, child birth or getting kicked in the nads? Well after thinking about it for a long spell over a few beers the answer suddenly came clear to him. Getting kicked in the nads is definately more painful than child birth. After time passes a woman most likely will want another child. You will never hear a man asking to get kicked in the nads again. So there you have the answer to the long debate. That is a funny lookin face, congrats to the family.
  5. I have read quite a few of Tom Brown Jr's books, probably best tracker in the world, taught by an old indian while he was a young boy. http://trackerschool.com/
  6. This guy had life made, at least for the last 5 years. http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/mobile3/56094373-219/knapp-county-mountain-burglaries.html.csp Goes back to the "Natural selection" scenario. I might be a bit cold about things like this but common sense and self prservation is becoming a thing of the past, if you can't survive off the land you have no business being out there in the first place. I love having been bred born and raised in the sticks and raised in a self sustainable enviroment grew and raised or hunted for all of our food. To me living in town would be like an innocent person being imprisoned for life. Clint Eastwood says it best! http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=CG2cux_6Rcw
  7. Here is an article about why we have a drug problem in the USA, very long but interesting read. http://www.infowars.com/chemical-warfare-against-the-nation-right-under-our-noses/ Here is another article that follows the same line. http://www.dailystar.com.lb/News/International/2013/Apr-01/212188-cartels-dispatch-agents-deep-inside-us.ashx#axzz2PEIIl03c
  8. If you look for a VW, Definately look for a Passat, it has way more room in the cabin than a Jetta, I too am a big guy and my wife has the car in my sig and I have been in Passats and there is no comparison. Also do not rule out any older Mercedes diesel cars if you can find one. You won't have the high mileage as a VW but you will have more power and torque.
  9. No they definately are not created equal. Different companies do different internal modifications to increase flow and pressures and control shift quality ect. Some companies just throw in el-cheapo after market shift kit parts.Best thing to do is visit with them and find out what they do to them or if they are selling another companies product if so find out whos VB they are selling.I have had very good luck personally with BD and Suncoast VBs and converters. I know DTT and Goerends are among the tops in quality as well. The only big name company I would stay away from is ATS, I have been around a lot of their products and have been less than impressed as have a lot of others I know. They have less than accomodating customer service after the sale if you have issues.Seeing you already have an aftermarket TC to best match you up they should get the specs from the company to best match the performance of the VB to the TC. They will need to know what the stall RPM is or in other words if it is a tight or lose converter some list this as a percentage.
  10. From everyone I have talked to a stock 6.7 with all the Government required jewelery only get around 15 mpg dd. Emmissions stripped off they are running over 18+.
  11. Russell Means stated it best in the video I posted above, "we as a nation have lost our culture". People coming from all around the globe and settling everywhere and intermingalling has caused a lot of this versus living in tight kint communities of other countries and things are easier to do and most of the country is already developed so there is less need to be as tight knit as when the country was spreading and growing. People now have what they came here for "Independence" but that has come with the price of not keeping the Government in check and now they find independant people a threat to their adgenda and you see where that is taking us.
  12. On my 02 I ran 90 hp and 155 hp Bd injectors on it with an II Silver 62 turbo and Edge Hot comp SO pump. The 90 Hp Bd injectors did a solid 2 mpg over stock all around 17-18 mpg overall DD, the 155 hp Bd's did exactly the same mpg as it did cold stock 15-16 mpg overall DD.
  13. Aren't government regulations great!!!!!!! Same goes with our entire medical system, all forms of cancer are naturally curable but the government has banned almost all natural remedies to keep the monetary system rolling. Once something has been classified as a disease only the medical cabal can treat this, this is why they have classified every single condition known to man as a disease now. The biggest scams of all time is the brainwashing that goes into making people donate to "Research for cure" programs. They keep looking for cures to curable diseases instead of looking at what causes them. Most diseases are Diet caused due to our overly processes and chemically infused GMO foods we have been surrounded with. Lactose intolerance is just one example of how a processed food causes issues that do not occur naturally. The same goes for the Gluten issues as well, humans did not evolve eating a lot of grains in the first place but as time and GMO technology has progresses to breed even more Gluten proteins into grains it becomes a problem for our digestive system then they take the Gluten and add it to many many other food products that naturally wouldn't have it. Gluten is much like lactose in milk the body treats it like a form of sugar it can't break down. - - - Updated - - - I love this site, Mike Adams is like the Alex Jones of Health news, in fact he filles in on Alexes show a lot. The amount of info here is overwhelming but you can research everything you could imangine on any health issues and how the government has and is keeping us sick to line their own pockets. http://www.naturalnews.com/index.html
  14. I took that line of thought before I bought my 2010 Hemi last year until I talked to many owners and used car dealers and my cousin who has a tundra. In my head I was going into it thinking I was 80% sure I was going to find a nice used Tundra, the Hemi was the backup plan. Well after talking and talking and talking I couldn't find a single person who would recommend a Tundra over the Hemi based on one single thing............The mileage sucks big time on them just using them as a DDer was not good but everyone I talked to said don't expect anything over 10 mpg with even the smallest of trailers on back. Secondly I couldn't find any in the price range I was looking to stay within. I found my used Hemi and have been more than impressed and extremely happy I went this route versus a Tundra. On the other hand once you jump into a Ram 2500 Chassis with a Hemi then the milage is comparable to the 1/2 ton Tundras.
  15. I love Ennio Merricone's music, most of the old Spaghetti westerns featured his music along with a lot of other movies and shows.
  16. Exactly, government got involved and subsidized the big dairy and put the small dairy farms out of business by fixing the price so low the small guys couldn't compete anymore, so now if there would be any cutting of subsidies to the big bloated commercial dairies the price would have gone up due to lack of dairy supplys because they themselves put the small guys out of business. Let the natural markets control themselves, once government interveins on any industry it becomes bloated dependant and unsustainable without the subsidies. USDA certified Organic cow shares are the only option if available in your area for quality chemical and drug free products. I get raw milk from an organic dairy locally here as well a couple times a month. Wifes family is very holistic / all natural organic and have gotten me aboard over the last 15 years as well.
  17. The thing is homoginization is worse than pasturization. If raw milk sours you can use it for baking, or make buttermilk, or feed the pigs. But homoginized milk does not sour, it rots. It is absolutely terrible, I am not sure but it may be poison. It is all about the Subsidized dairy industry having price fixing happening and buy being able to go around the price fixing subsidies and buy raw milk you are cutting the troats of big dairy.Ever notice You can not use coupons to buy milk...........................In the words of the FDA and governmentYou will drink what you are told........................and like it!
  18. You need to watch the documentary from Russel Means "RIP" Called "Welcome to the Reservation", it is very insiteful and pretty much sums up where our government came from and what it is doing to us as a whole. The indian reservations was the governments experiment that it has taken nation wide and pretty much every citizen is included in it now. http://www.infowars.com/russell-means-welcome-to-the-reservation/ http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LA-S64QY3o&feature=player_embedded
  19. Lactose intolerance does not exist in the real world of raw milk, lactose intolerance comes about due to pasturization because it kills all the good enzymes in the milk naturally to help break down the lactose. Most dairies are a thousand times cleaner than your operating rooms are at hospitals don't let any gov employee try and tell you differently. They are trying harder and harder to criminalize anyone selling raw milk accross the country, the most common way to get it is through what is called "cow shares" where you buy ownership into a cow on a dairy farm and collect the milk directly from that dairy. These laws came about during the depression after the 30's I believe before refridgeration when the time it took to deliver raw milk to final customers took too long and it became dirty and unsanitary and spoiled before refridgeration came about. Most milk contamination takes place after it leaves the farm. Modern refridgeration has taken 99% of the bad milk stories they try to scare you with out of the picture. I was breast few by my mother and once weaned from her we had a neighbor with dairy cows and had a 5 gallon bucket of raw milk in our fridge for years at least till I was about 12-13. This came directly from the bulk tank at our neighbors dairy. Never had an issue as did anyone else in the neighborhood over the years. Do a search and let us know how many stories of sick people you find who drink raw milk that have gotten sick from it, I follow these stories close and nobody including the government has found any modern cases of illness related to raw milk directly from the dairy farm to consumer with no middle man.
  20. Look to see if there is oily residue around the hub and when the rig is cold try to spin it by hand, it should turn fairly free with a slight drag maybe get a 1/2 to full revolution out of it with a flick if it is stiffer than that it is probably going bad.
  21. Me too. Kinda like taking the dash out and leaving it out because you "Might" have to replace another heater core sometime.
  22. And yet folks find ways to drop trannies and t-cases with no issues.. One needs to plan ahead or find a few clean containers!:wink:The mine rigs I work on hold up to 1000 gallons of fuel.
  23. 2 straps and a drop are way easier and faster than messing with the box in my opinion. Dropped many tanks over the years and probably only replaced a couple of straps that were due to be changed anyhow.
  24. The options are next to endless!Sorry I just couldn't resist!
  25. I perfer the Acuseal clamps versus the u-bolt clamps. http://www.ftediesel.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=195&idcategory=0
