  1. From your testing and my testing I think 340-350 is about the max "recommended"
  2. ooo yea, Hows power compard ot the 7 x .014? did you run the 13's at normal bar or just jack them up and run them like a boss?
  3. after the tunnel you can head up 40 to 34 through winter park, granby then estes park
  4. meh she shouldn't notice any difference but I wont try and correct her.
  5. If you have not driven this yet I recommend this path Both areas circled are beautiful
  6. I am planning on going with 265 this time. I have wanted to try treadwright, but I the stories of friends brothers uncles having a blow out worries me. I know it is illogical but yea. @Wild and Free have you run a set on your 2500 yet?
  7. @kzimmer Try this. I put the fuel limit back to what it was on 2.7.1
  8. @kzimmer I dont think I messed with high idle but I will look.
  9. The appeal of the 19.5's is pretty big, but we are saving for a new truck so the money spent on 19.5's comes out of the new truck fund. I am leaning towards just sticking some no name's back on the 17" I have and hoping to get another year out of them, which will be enough time for us to get a new truck.....but 19.5......
  10. codes and running issues. I doubt your issues are with the vp44 though, everything you have posted screams electrical issue.
  11. The time has come to buy some new tires. Seems like I am burning through them at a pretty rapid rate. Wear is even, just wearing down fast. The current set are some off brand of tire, which explains why the low mileage. 25,000 miles ~1.5 year since I got them. Seems like towing the gooseneck really ramped up the rate of wear. I have no need for offroad style tires, the truck has been retired from off roading duty anyways. So I have a few choices here, I have a set of 17" alum rims on the side of the house I can throw lt tires on. 235/80/17 $150-200 per tire I have also been eyeing some 19.5" setups with commercial tires. The thought of 100,000+ miles on a set of tires is nice. Considering I put 25k a year that should, in theory, cut my tire cost by %50 over the next 5 years. Upfront cost is a big pill to swallow, but I really like the idea of getting 19.5" rims that I can move to the next truck etc. $1000 for rims and then another $1000 for tires So for those guys towing regularly, what kind of mileage are you seeing with your tires? Any recommendations?
  12. Doing some very rough math( comparing injector flow) vs your engine load % at cruise it looks liek you are burning %20-25 more fuel to do the same mph as my truck does. thats pretty signifIcant. are the injectors orginal?
  13. given your tire style, speed, DRW, weight, etc I think 16 mpg is pretty close. your engine load being in the %40 area confirms that you are having to burn a ton of fuel to move down the road.
  14. you need to pull the truck back about 20' and take a picture at night.
  15. Adjust the offset down a bit and run another tank. When it was1 gallon off how many gallons did you pump? 15.5 might be good or bad. How much stop and go? How much interstate?
  16. Have you parked in front of a wall and looked at the beam pattern? The fact that people are flashing you is telling you where your lights are going.
  17. There are various arduino relays that trigger off of 3.3v for a 12v pin I use it to control my lockup switch and eb logic
  18. I had the issue happen and the fix trigger. I did not feel anything in the seat when it happened. Hopefully this is the end of that damn bug
  19. @kzimmer This flash has a fix for the issue.
  20. Did you install the apps according to the directions? The ecm should not see more than %0 tpa at idle as a result of the I've built into the apps.
  21. Are you still seeing %1 tps at idle on and of?
  22. Does the buck happen under 10 psi of boost? Does it help to drop min wiretap % down to 0? Currently the tune is setup to make wiretap go to %25 if you are hard on the throttle once boost hits 10 psi. I would wager that you would get a good buck at heavy throttle when you pass that 10 psi mark. Are you %100 sure it only happens on wiretap levels?
  23. Can you export the tune you are using? The exterme tune doesn't match the 25% number.
  24. Ac noise can cause all sorts of issues in all the computers. Its not likely but can help point to the solution
