  1. old maps sensors can get "sticky" that would be my guess.
  2. because the map sensor was old and worn out?
  3. walmart has 7" andriod tablets for less than $50
  4. I highly recommend getting hte bluetooth not the wifi. Andriod devices are SOOOO much cheaper when the time comes to replace it. you don;t have to run gauges to run. The tune apply process requires the device. The quad cannot update ecm and abs items like tire size.
  5. according to the tsb if the ecm see's tps increase above %0 then high idle will cancel. You will have to troubleshoot your apps sensor to know if it is on it's way out or if it just needs to be recalibrated.
  6. Please review the TSB that covers OEM high idle functions Triggers for disabling high idle are
  7. bite me guys, bite me
  8. for 500 hp the 62 I would also do 7 x .011's or .012's.
  9. the last 4 vehicles I have owned made it beyond 250,000 miles running smooth when I sold them. No special oil, no 3k oil change, nothing out of the normal. If I remember to change the oil at 5-7k I did, if not I did not worry. I ran them hard and they did fine. I don't make a habit of worrying about oil. Heck I don't even know when I did the truck last...
  10. %100 normal for charging voltage to be higher when cold.
  11. When I am up in your area I just block off the entire grill in the winter using cardboard. Truck does fine with temps down below `- 20*f
  12. I doubt at this point an oil bypass would do anything to help. after that many miles the damage is done. I would just keep up your oil change and filter stuff.
  13. plug in the box then click the flash file, then hit get info from module.
  14. nope, When I moved the wall back I wanted to add a support under the floor for the spot where the wall got moved to. That requred me cut the floor out, which I wanted to replace anyways for good measures.
  15. Got the rear gate worked on this weekend, I still have to mock up a latch, but I am very happy at this point. I got really sick of the ramp being 1,000,000# and having to bend over to lift it etc. Wife couldn't do it. It was like this. I gutted the ramp, removed about 100# worth of plywood and rubber, then reinforced the door with metal as seen below. I put the ramp up, locked it in place, then welded 4x hinges, 2 on each side. I then used a straight edge to cut down the door at 2' on the left to give us a tack door. I still have some cleanup to do, grind the edges etc, but I am happy. Next is that back brace on the floor is getting cut out and replaced due to rust, After that the floor goes in and we are ready to use it to move the ***, I mean horse. In other related news the state finally gave me a title for this thing. I am the proud owner of this bad boy according to the state of colorado.
  16. please keep an eye on it.
  17. try disabling UAC to run the installer.
  18. The video and directions are pinned to the top fo the Quadzilla section The beeping is normal. Thats the quad asking if it should be using the bootloaded or not effectively. once the flash file connects to the box the beeping goes away.
  19. I had a ground lead pop off the battery 2 winters ago, resulted in voltage gauge spiking to 18.
  20. no need for an external regulator. Start with the grounds and go from there. I would be willing to bet on that anyways.
  21. well the job is done, parts store lifetime warrant reciept saved so next year I can take it to them and replace it for free.
  22. nope just what the store had, I have needed the truck on the road each time and kinda forced my hand
  23. I am sure google search reports are showing a spike of "how do I grown a mustache without looking like a pedophile. " or at least that is what my wife thinks I look like hahahaha
