  1. drag the datalog into the box below
  2. The wife came home from work today and apparently was thinking about the weatherby most of the day.... so off to the gun store we went and returned with this. Weatherby Vanguard 2 Camilla in 6.5 creedmoor as well. Fits me like garbage and her like a glove. Since we own 2 of the same I guess I have to start reloading.......oh darn
  3. Make sure the iquad is connected to the box under the hood when you look at the datalog. Disconnect issues are common with vehicle profile mismatches. I wouldn't we worried about that yet. Once we figure out the profiled etc, then you can see if it still does it/.
  4. datalog the bucking situtation, that should clear up a lot of questions.
  5. please watch the youtube video in the first post. It is a start to finish of the entire process.
  6. you could use the iquad for gauges. I am not sure what hte wiring harness looks like on a CR truck, there should be a "wiretap" in the same sense as a vp truck.
  7. It is a PV2 screen, still old and unsupported. You can update to V2 tuning if you get the iquad dongle. the 4K a bit of a bummer. yes it can work, yes you can set rpm limit lower, but you will still have codes and a harsher tuner. It iwll not be as smooth or predictable.
  8. Yep, I ran out of time to manage it, now I dont have a 2nd gen to measure on and I can't find my notes.
  9. Not really possible as the ecm is fueling if the quadzilla gives up control. You could write a limiting table, but it wouldn't really work on multiple injectors Use valet mode setting to limit power and set the tuner to lvl 1. that will do exactly what you want it to do.
  10. got my CDS dial in today!! loving it can wait to try it.
  11. I used to use "glugs" lol when I did run it I would give it a couple good glugs per fill.
  12. Given that the ecm has wide support to write to the tables and is not limited by the communication protocols in place on a vp truck I would choose another route personally. the quad really shines in the vp world.
  13. The .270 is sold to a friend. I am thinking this is in my wife future Weatherby Vangaurd Camilla in 6.5 Creedmoor. Sportsmans had one in stock and she really liked how it felt. Nice and light, little shorter stock and barrel, high cheek reset. way nicer stock than anything else in the price range.
  14. Nope no V2 for CR trucks. The way the tuners work at a base level is vastly different. as for the tuning variables I am not entirely sure, haven't played with one so I can't say.
  15. Are you sure all your cross over tunes are seated well and you dont have any air leaks? If you are then I would say the injectors are bad.
  16. the quad reads boost from the ecm for 0-16 psi then from 17+ psi it adds on top of the ecm signal reading from the sensor itself.
  17. datalog the run where the jump happens. Export the log as csv and we can plot it and see what is happening. you go from 1 % increases in the 0-5 psi then by 3 above that. That might be the jump in power you feel. It might also be that your wiretap psi min is set to 30, so when you hit 30 psi the truck would likely jump out of it's own shell. Try lowering wiretap min psi to 10 psi
  18. Small to mid Small: 50-95's mid: 100 - 150's big: 175 + is my rule of thumb. Load a couple tunes that you want. try them out, then come back with things you want to change or to be different. Without a baseline for us to understand your wants it is hard for us to recommend something. If you have been running other tuners make sure you put your foot in it with the quadzilla. there is no maxing duration at low throttle input to give a false sense of power.
  19. Take a look at the tunes we have posted there are numerous mid injector tunes. https://mopar1973man.com/forum/185-standard-quadzilla-adrenaline-tunes/
  20. @Hawkez How does he like the x-bolt? My wife liked that one best of all the ones we looked at the other day.
  21. This video gives you a quick run down on the easiest way to check to see if your quadzilla is setup for V2 tuning. Please see this article if you need to update to V2 tuning. View full Cummins article
