2002 2nd gen dually performance recommendations
Studs put in one by one if your headgasket is still good. Beyond that nope. if you want the best of the best infinite performance can build you a really really nice set of injectors. More budget minded then DAP. I would do DAP for the turbo regardless. I would go with borg warner sxe turbo in the size that fits your hp goal 7 x .010's are commonly called 150hp over stock but it is really 150hp -+25 depending on the builder

7 x .010's and a 62 mm inducer turbo is a popular setup for towing and 500 hp. You can go smaller on the turbo, but you will still eat the trans at 400 or 450 hp. How much power do you want? Your trans will not last a week if you upgrade injectors to 7 x .010. the lockup clutch will not be able to keep the tc locked. to the point of if you tow it will likely just burn up the atf fluid due to excess heat.

you are already playing with fire with the quadzilla and a stock trans. Time to spend $$ on the trans. @Dynamic what would you suggest?

One thing I will really miss is induction noise. My 750il has a noise that can make anyone smile. Hard to really put into words, but hearing that V12 howl at 4000 rpm is

Most of them are pay services to allow you to charge.- 01 24v VP44 to VE Swap (info gathering)
400-500 is still reliable. Harder on the drivetrain, but not terrible. 7x .011's and a he351ve would be a nice setup. I ran with 7 x .012's and it was fine but the turbo was opening up pretty good to keep from overshooting 130,000 rpm- Well the Order is in
KZ status as of today. Looks like it will get on the train soon.- The Future of Trucks
the cost in terms of only fuel vs paying the power bill for to and from work 5 days a week The focus gets right at 20 mpg city to and from work. 10 miles each way -> 20 miles a day total $ per KWH is at 0.09 here in colorado springs gas is at 3.25 right now. the volt is right at 30 kwh per 100 miles 1 gallon of gas per day for the focus x 5 days a week x 4 = ~$64 a month on fuel 6 kwh per day for 20 miles X .09 x5 days a week x 4 weeks a month = ~$11 a month for power. additional costs are unknown in terms of winter kwh per mile etc. but with power so cheap near me there is a lot of room to grow before hitting gas cost per gallon. the grid can't handle it. but the electrical need of the USA is climbing at a rate that the grid is already struggling to keep up with.- The Future of Trucks
lol the chevy bolt has a longer powertrain warranty then the cummins 8 year 100,000 vs 5 year 100,000 feds are offering 7.5k credit and colorado is offering 5k credit.....Man I hate that but wow if my tax dollars are paying for it I might have to use it @KATOOM Did you calculate plugging it in at work rather than the house? big savings once you get the 400' extension cord- The Future of Trucks
I've seen a ton of them recently as well. Tesla finally hit the 5k per week production. You are going to start to see a flood of them hit the roads, last time I checked Tesla was backlogged 5 months with existing orders. At the current rate that is 100,000 units in 5 months that are already sold. - The Future of Trucks
