  1. The 7blade found in the HE351 will flow more air, but the turbine will probably flow less.
  2. My Smarty lets me adjust the speedo on my 05, I adjust the odo and take the small (~1%) speedo error into account.
  3. Usually when you adjust the speedo the odo adjusts too. If I were to make my speedo accurate my odo would read fast, putting more miles on the car than actual. I don't want to have that happen.
  4. Does that effect the odo as well?
  5. My odo is within 1%, it's just the needle that is off.
  6. Looks like fun!! Your sig says the 06 is stock, but the MM in the photo tells me otherwise??? This is the most my OH has seen, and I don't run any tuning that effects the OH.
  7. Have they checked all the grounds? How about the battery cables?
  8. I've met a few good looking gals from Riggins....
  9. So are you posting that video next week?
  10. Time for 1, or more, wheel speed sensors.
  11. I have $20 on that Michael was the camera man...
  12. Well I am not sure what happened to the original photo, as I don't delete them... Anyhow here is an updated one.
  13. The HE351 and the HX40 (7blade) use the same compressor wheel, what does the 35/40 use?It seems there are multiple variants. Are you sure you are running out of air? Or are you running out of turbine?
  14. Where are you at hp wise?Garrett GT3782R Stage 2 Powermax kit.
  15. I would double check your boost gauge, it seems to be reading slow and low.
  16. Any pics of it? I can let you know if it looks like mine or not.
  17. Do you have a non-standard fridge? Most just slide out into the interior of the trailer. - - - Updated - - - I forgot to take pictures during the install, but here are a couple. You can just barely see the fan looking up thru the removable panel.
  18. I spent the weekend working on things around the house, but found time for 2 quick mods to the travel trailer. The first was easy, all I did was give the converter it's own AC breaker. There have been times over the years I want to shut the converter off, but they way it's wired from the factory that also shuts off half of the AC outlets. So I put an additional 15A breaker in the box, and now it is dedicated to the converter. I also got a fan installed behind the fridge. This took a little longer as I had to pull the fridge out to gain access to the space to mount the fan. The fan is located about 1/2 way between the condensing tubes and heat exchanger. The fan (Valtera Fridge Cool) is wired with 2 temperature switches. They are both on at 100° and off at 85°. There is one switch glued to the fan itself, and the other attaches to the burner tube. I attached the 12v wires to the existing fridge 12v power, and will eventually add a switch to the pos wire but for now it just uses the temp switches for operation. I ran the fridge for about an hour on Friday in 90° heat to verify it worked, and the fan kicked on. I climbed up on top if the camper and felt by the vent, that little fan moves a decent amount of air. The online results from multiple people that have done before/after testing is about a 10° drop on the upper shelf of the fridge in a day of 100-105° weather, and the fridge will cycle vs continuous operation and getting warm.
  19. I'd be interested to see if you could find some specs on it. I looked into a S330 for the 360° pad, and it was just too much money for a journal bearing. They are a stout setup for sure. High EGT's isn't the only indicator of pushing a compressor past it's map. You can lead to sheared shafts too.
  20. The 330 is the HD version of the S300. What compressor do you have? 50 psi isn't common on S330 or S300 maps.
  21. Could you have a gauge issue? 0 psi at cruise is not correct. Look into a spring adapter for the WG, to let DP control boost.
  22. I think the last time I ran mine for more than a few miles was 2008, but my point was the Smarty on SW5 and lower doesn't not attribute to the error.
  23. About right. I bet your error is the same if you were to run stock software.
  24. As others have said you need to back the boost down, 33-35 is the absolute most you want to see and probably better in the 33-35 range. The HX still has a fairly small small compressor wheel, and more than 35 psi is just starting to push hot air. Also as stated the HX has a larger turbine housing, which means slower to spool in this case. It shouldn't be much but it will be there. This is also the reason for the higher cruise EGT's, you have less boost at cruise. Unless they are a lot hotter that's not a big deal.
  25. Interesting. The OEM resonator from the megacab is the last thing in line, and is on the axle up pipe. It works great in that position on my truck.
