  1. Working all day on truck had keys in ignition - guess it was on ..., ? Go out later this evening after shower and it's dead. Now got to get jumped. Didn't think it could draw down that quick ....Thinking might get some battery tenders but they are so expensive for 1 time every other year Bang head

    plenty of guys selling now for same reasonId keep it and just try and get a new V2 pulse if you cant fix it.Still a good unit. Keep it till it dies - then move to something else.
  3. Guess what I mean is why don't air intake pushers , intake filters , intercoolers and everything else pre ignition make any measurable difference to our trucks
  4. Guess someone should through in duration/stretch combined with the injectors through a programmer. Never heard of injector issues for vp44 capabilities beyond that once you go over 150HP you want to go to a SAC style nozzle to reduce failure rate. Think the VP44 SO cant supply more fuel than 650-700 HP is the limit. Then have to go to a monster pump or a p-pump.
  5. sorry missed this 3rd Gen Rotors (bigger) 17" rims (for clearance). 3rd Gen Pads 3rd Gen Caliper Brackets thats it - you can reuse the existing calipers (at least on 01-02).
  6. but thinking out loud ..... this goes against mikes theory of warmer air = better effeciency/mpg. eg his IAT design seems on diesels its has more to do with CFM than temps ....... but thats just from seeing high HP and efficient engines with stock intercoolers. Alos backing this up is the increased efficiency you can get from head porting (supposdely) over things like intercoolers/cold air intakes. Kinda makes you wonder why BHAF/BIG RAM intake /intercoolers and such dont really seem to net anyone anything under 500+ HP .....

  8. Don't know but I read on CF that a number if very high HP trucks run stock intercooler
  9. I guess I meant didnt realize the brake lights engaged without ignition on. eg no power.Strange this happened straight after my brake job. I seem to have slightly more fluid in the resevoir - but no braking issues.

  12. Yeah compounded air, 150 sac sticks and juice/smarty stack. I was able to hit close to 50 psi without the juice wiretap. Its more than enough power ........ now just concerned about breaking something (tranny, HG, flexplate, input shaft, floating valve) etc etc ...... so far it seems ok ..... I generally dont push it that hard - but often in the 45 psi range. Glad to have that sorted - simple in the end .......... did my 3rd gen brake upgrade as well last week - its ok - wasnt like wow. Now a track bar, some touch up paint and maybe some lukes links replacement bushings ....
  13. So after the stealth plate mention and reading the install instructions again I decided to screw it down another full turn - wholla - 12v .... More importantly 55-60psi in seconds before I get out of it. !!! Turns out I must have been running untapped since the new injectors Crazy power
  14. Have to send to edge. I can hit 50psi on stock (0) and only 36 on level 6. Its like its defueling ...... but I have that turned off.
  15. How do you get to that point of the assembly. Remove rotors, remove caliper , remove caliper bracket ......remove hub ?? then ?
  16. yeah it is neoprene - eg wetsuit material. Its nice and comfortable. Ryan - no farts .... plus it will be a while before I make that trip - sorry bud - fly down and stay a few days !!
  17. Good to know - that may explain the 0 volts. But then I assume the vp44 always has 12v - so then how to know if the juice is sending. But that would indicate the juice module is working - else cooldown wouldnt work correct ?

  19. Weird0 volts.No lights on edge module. But monitor works and egt works and turbo cooldown works Need to call edge I guess
  20. Yeah I'm just testing the other end and it's 0 volts. Ryan ( whitelighening98) did the same on his truck and also got 0 v .... So .... Shrug Ignition on , engine off
  21. thanks man. Yeah I probably would have gotten yours - just couple weeks to late. The fronts really make a difference ........ nice to have the back as well - but the fronts alone were good. (for those wondering there are some for sale in the for sale section) On the middle console - it wraps at fronm and to back of console so yes it still opens

  24. Done. Nah it's half a kayak paddle carbon fibre. I'll let you know about how they handle - happy with the look do far ... Quality seems fair for $450 better than )$1200 leather.
