  1. Hopefully I answered this correctly. If not I'm sure the smart guys will correct me!
  2. There are kits that are just turbo timers, it doesn't have to be a quad or smarty. My truck never really gets run THAT hard, but I typically just pull up to where ever I'm going and sit in the cab for a bit until I see my EGTs come down. You can be a cool kid like Tyler if you want though!
  3. Luckily I didn't need to drop the whole drive shaft, just loosen it a good bit. I honestly wouldn't mind cleaning out the debris, just don't really know how to go about doing it.
  4. So what did you end up using for mud flaps?
  5. Well finally got the tank out! Really wish I would've known ahead of time that dropping the bolts on the carrier bearing would've made this easier! Anyways, it's out and lesson learned. Couple things, there seems to be a good amount of small debri in the tank, should I worry about cleaning it out? If so how? Next up is getting the fuel module fitted with the drawstraw 5 as well as the return line.
  6. Yea from what I understood the SO/HO were directly related to the engine type being either SO/HO. If I remember correctly, there seems to be no real benefit to getting the HO or hot rod pumps, but I have no experience with either. What did DAP tell you?
  7. It might differ a little too with the tweeter pod vs no tweeter pod.
  8. Yea definitely have to agree that the a pillar does impede the view a bit. I love the look and functionality of it, but on left handers and in confined spaces with people around and such, I find myself moving forward a bit to make sure I'm not playing bumper cars with anyone's face.
  9. Yea that's what I run on the 99 and how I was planning on installing it on the 02. I run the push lock tee > needle valve > push lock fitting for hose > hose > push lock fitting for hose into gauge
  10. Ahh yea I forgot you were running the electric gauges. I'm all mechanical.
  11. Yea sub life is not for me!
  12. Aren't the snubber and needle valve supposed to do the same thing? Or did you add in the redundancy to protect the gauges even further?
  13. Ok cool, just wondering. I'll do a system flush.
  14. I figured I'd try the marine grease from Walmart. Have a grease gun on the way!
  15. Speaking of plane talk Just another day in the office, down at 300ft!
  16. Could you do the same steps as listed above except use a siphon to get out all the fluid from the reservoir, refill with fresh fluid, turn lock to lock, siphon and repeat?
  17. It's begun! I finally got my fuel down enough to where I don't have to siphon too much gas out of the tank before dropping it. But that's where I've hit my first dilemma, need a impact wrench to get that forward most tank strap loosened up. I want to take my time modifying the fuel module with the draw straw and bigger return lines since this is the only part I am only unfamiliar with. Everything else should be fairly straight forward.
  18. If you want a mechanical gauge as a back up then why not just route in another tee and route a mechanical gauge with a needle valve at the tee so you could just pop the hood, open the needle valve and check it real quick, then close it back up and be good to go? That way you never loose pressure in the lines and have to re bleed. @Mopar1973Man do you run the pressure tee, a snubber valve then a needle valve? Then connect the push lock for the hose then hose to gauge?
  19. IMO I say keep the shirt the way it is! Unless you reaaaally don't want your truck on there anymore, I'd say just reproduce the same shirt! My only suggestion would be to offer a darker color, like black or dark blue and instead of the main art work being on the front, have it on the back. But that's just my
  20. What are the main benefits for this upgrade?
  21. I already commented over on CF but looking good man! What exhaust tip are you running?
  22. So are you just going to tee into the 90 that goes into the vp44? Or are you looking to splice the line again and add in the ability to plug in a test port? I'm with TFaoro on this one, I'd just unscrew the full time gauge port and plug in my test gauge there. That way I'd be reading pressure from the same exact spot as my full time gauge.
  23. I just like the idea of being able to help people out if they were to need it, so that's what my toolbox is being used for. Although, once I get line-x or something, the tool box might get the boot, we'll see.
  24. I hear ya about the shirt orders. I like the stickers but like Hawkez said, I've never been a big sticker on the vehicle guy. You could take pre orders on the shirts to feel out how big of an order to get
