Power tow mirrors with blinkers
Gotcha!

RV275s
Alright guys I have some questions regarding rv275 injectors. I've decided that these injectors will more then likely be what I go with when the time comes to upgrade mainly because I'm just looking for a mild boost in fueling without getting EGTs too crazy because I still want the truck to be able to tow a house. Questions are... -How big (hp wise) are the rv275s? I've heard multiple different claims -Are all rv275s created equal? Bosch vs DFI for example? -Biggest turbo could reasonably run on rv275s (with towing in mind)

Power tow mirrors with blinkers
Hmm well dually noted for sure, but it seems that it's more of an opinionated thing then factual. I don't have any issues seeing behind me in either mode. The convex mirror provides me an awesome view of the side of the truck and rear tire and the bigger section of the mirror is plenty big for me to see everything behind me.

Power tow mirrors with blinkers
Really? That's surprising to hear John, I love my 4th gen mirrors! It was a huge step up from my non-tow mirror option the truck came with. I really like the big convex mirrors, work perfect for me to be able to see the rear tire and the big mirror to see everything behind me. To each their own though!

Power tow mirrors with blinkers
4th gen mirrors have a full convex mirror on the outside as opposed to just the bottom 1/4 or the mirror on the 2nd/3rd gen mirrors. It also has a nice 'zoom' like feature on the passenger side mirror to see easier but I don't know if that was exclusive to 4th gen mirrors or not.

Power tow mirrors with blinkers
Those are 3rd gen mirrors @leathermaneod. Tyler was thinking they made 4th gen with blinkers but they don't yet. From what I've seen they're next release was going to be 4th gen mirrors with power fold options and possibly blinkers for 2nd gen trucks but I stopped following once I got my 4th gen style mirrors.

Air filter performance ratings
I doubt you have anything to worry about. You've seen Mike's pic of his turbo after some 100k miles through the BHAF right? Pretty good looking results. With the amount of people running them, I'm pretty sure we would've heard of any particle filtration issues with the BHAF. I finally got mine installed earlier this week.

What to do with old battery cables...keep/sell/scrap?
I replaced mine from custombatterycables as well and I just kept my old ones. Figured that maybe somewhere down the road either me or someone else would need them. I'm sure you could scrap them though no problem.

RPM Matching when Shifting
So strictly speaking of driving a manual on everything other then these trucks, I've done this on every other vehicle, from smaller trucks to motorcycles. It really is a feeling thing more then an exact RPM thing. Typically the way I learn to "rev match" while downshifting in an unfamiliar vehicle is to start slowing down way ahead of time by letting off the throttle, depressing clutch, selecting gear, then "blipping" the throttle to the appropriate level for my speed and gear and fairly quickly releasing the clutch. You're not going to be letting the clutch out as slow as you would from a start, it's pretty fast. If this evolution isn't smooth and has some jerks, then you didn't blip enough. The other way around isn't a big a deal, but you won't be slowing down as much. Again, this is all based on smoothness and feel. As for the up shifting, I can't really comment because I've never driven a slower shifting vehicle where the RPMs would drop all the way back to idle before I could have my next gear selected and ready to go. What that sounds like to me is maybe you need to rev it out a little more before shifting, or maybe the trans is just showing some age/wear/tear since it's taking a bit to shift. If anything a quick blip to get the RPMs back up before you release the clutch and then immediately get back on the throttle in this case would probably be your best bet. Anyways, hope this helped, but really all this is doing for me is making me wish my 5speed swap was already happening!

Truck stolen
Did you change anything when you sent it to me before Tyler? I flashed mine and it's an auto and it didn't have any adverse effects.

I'll text ya a bit later about the Smarty Tyler.

Truck stolen
Like I said before, really glad your truck made it out relatively unscathed. This had disaster written all over it, but really happy that it's not in pieces! Would've been a huge shame to see all the work and effort you put into end up like that! Since they left your smarty, I may need to borrow that sometime soon!

Trailer connector wiring
Hahaha dude you crack me up! This is why I just solder and heat shrink all my connections just so I don't worry about it.

Trailer connector wiring
Yea after seeing those pics, I would've done the same.

Grossing 16-17k in the Northeast, should I expect more from truck?
From what I understand the reason 5 & 6 read hotter is due to the intake plenum design. It tends to be restrictive to those rear cylinders which would explain why you're seeing cooler temps up in the front cylinders.

Codes and more codes
Avoid at all costs anything 'noise cancelling' as that is only a bandaid fix to the actual problem. If its AC noise causing issues, the replace he alternator, plain and simple. As as far as your APPS, perfectly fine to get a timbo! They're Jesper then OEM and work better to boot so win win!

As long as it lasts and works that's all you can ask for! Nice job.

Manual Trans Conversion - Seeking Advice/Tips/Issues/etc
Thanks @NightHawk! I really appreciate it! It'll definitely help out when it comes time to do my swap. I planned on just taking some time off work to do this so I'd have plenty of time. Mine might be a little bit before the swap just because my auto is working fine now, but at 175k and growing I'm sure I'll see signs of wear and tear soon so I want to be ready when it happens!

The time has come to produce the Mopar1973Man High Idle & MPG fooler switches again.
Ok I'll send it in to ya! Just let me know where and I'll get it sent Monday morning.

Yea so that sounds like what was happening. I got the switch positions backwards and thought the MPG mode was the very last turn to the right. So that explains the long WTS. If you think something might be off I can send it back to ya. I just took it out of my 99 because I was going to put it in the 02.

Ok so the images are in order from starting fully counter clockwise then each click clockwise. So I just labeled the images wrong but they are in the correct order. I guess my follow on question then is if the numbers are right and I'm seeing an insanely long delay in my WTS light going out, something must've changed ECM side then right?

Manual Trans Conversion - Seeking Advice/Tips/Issues/etc
A parts list and vendors would be awesome! I have never done a trans swap or anything like it, but my brother would be helping with the swap and has done tons or trans swaps and a lot of custom jobs so we should be covered.

Trailer connector wiring
My dad is one of the most anal people I know when it comes to do anything 'the right way' he won't do any wiring unless he can solder and heat shrink it himself and I've never seen any of his work fail.
