Travel trailer newbie!
Yea I looked into discount tires 'trade-in' thing they do but it seems like they give you pawn star offers. Someone said they had a brand new set of 5, stock tires, M/T type and they offered 400 bucks. So I'll just run these until it's time for new ones then go smaller from there.

I did have a 3-500 hundred pounds in the bed of extra camping gear, generator, dog, chairs, all that stuff so it definitely added to the rear end squat. But ideally I'm wanting to get the suspension, lift wise, back to stock to avoid any of these issues in the future.

Thanks guys. Having been on here long enough, I wouldn't of put these tires on myself, the PO did and they still have a ton of tread so I'm just going to have to deal with it for now until it's time for new tires.

Alright @dripley here's what mine leaf springs look like. I assume that top leaf is my overload spring? The 'spacer' is just a 2in block that sits on top of the coil up front. I would take them out if I could fit these tires with stock suspension.

Longer cranking...
So couple updates here... 1. I got a new spring and ball from FASS for my return line. My fuel pressure was bordering 15-16 psi and I didn't like that. Plus when I attempted to adjust my spring by stretching it out it seemed to make my pressures even more all over the place. It went from 19 now back down 15-16. I looked at the old ball and it has some indentations which I'm thinking adds to the fluctuating but I'm wondering if that could be causing a slight leak in return and causing the hard starts. We'll see once I have a chance swap them out. 2. Also it really seems like my lift pump won't do its 2 sec prime when my fuel tank is around 1/4 tank. No matter how long the trucks sits, uphill or downhill it won't prime. Once the truck starts there's a slight maybe 1 sec delay until fuel pressure builds. It's almost as though the lift pump isn't getting power. Bumping the starter doesn't build pressure higher then 1-3psi during these times either. As soon as I fill up, in the next start up or two, it's back to priming 2sec at key on. Really weird! But as long as it's still starting fine, and it doesn't seem to be an ECM issue since the WTS is functions as normal, I'm just going to keep driving! I have some other things I want to try here in the next couple days so I'll keep you all posted on my findings.

Teardown and Rebuild
Lookin good Tyler! Speaking as someone who knows little about transmissions. Is it possible the trans case can get hotter and retain heat better then the actual trans fluid which is why your seeing the spread you are? Or is 120 too low a number, period?

Torque Converter Lock / Unlock Issues
Yea I mean definitely glad that the bad grounds fixed your situation, but from the findings on this site, once the alternator starts to die and the AC noise increases, this problem will return, only to be fixed by replacing the alternator. Obviously a poor ground connection will cause issues, but I don't believe that's the root of the problem here.

Torque Converter Lock / Unlock Issues
I'm not a huge electrical wiring guy, but it seems like you just cleaned the ground cables or replaced bad connectors and then put the ground cables in different locations, correct?

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Yea for sure! haha What's the difference between the two models that DAP has on their website?

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
I'm not opposed to the extra screen, but not sure where I'd put it since I already have the pillar gauge setup. I figure if I could set it up to show things like what my OBD sensor shows and things like you mentioned then it'd be a nice addition.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Yea I knew it'd only be on quad, just wasn't sure if the xzt boxes could get some tuning as well. If a guy like me were to get a quad adr and I already have full gauges, what would I have to do to get the tuning/setup done?
-
Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Don't think this was mentioned already but is this tuning only available on the Quad Adrenaline?

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Finally catching up with all this. If this tuning allows for working cruise control with power mods, it's worth it's weight in gold with that alone! Haha

Fuel pressure problem, again
Here's a link to Geno's that sells the washer you need for the banjo bolt at the back of the head https://www.genosgarage.com/product/bf-3963983/gauge-related

Any pics of the second ground setup?

Fuel pressure problem, again
Might as well try that out, let us know what the results are.

Torque Converter Lock / Unlock Issues
AFAIK NAPAs test isn't checking for ac noise specifically and its checking it under full load, so you'll get different results.

Teardown and Rebuild
Nah no arguing man! Lol Ive just never seen any other retailer advertise that they were valved specifically for the dodges but maybe that's there way of saying they are for dodges lol. I just assumed since they offered a 0-3in, 4in & 6in version they must be doing something internally. I could be completely wrong though and these could just be your regular ol 5100s!

Shredded belt and ...
First off, welcome to the forum! Glad to have ya! As far as the fan coming loose like that, I've never heard of that happening before but I doubt it's a first. More then likely the PO was doing work or had work done to it and didn't re-install it correctly and ended up with your situation. As far as the hypertech, if it's the tuner that connects through the obd port then it should correct for tire size other then stock. Honestly if you don't already have a hypertech I'd go with a smarty and just keep the tune mild and your foot light and your trans will be fine. But that all depends on your driving style and habits.

Teardown and Rebuild
Sorry wasn't trying to say that the ones you were looking at weren't 5100s. Just that the ones from CJC seem to have some extra work done to them to be valved for our trucks. Where as your "normal" 5100 are just valved for multiple use applications from bilstein.

Torque Converter Lock / Unlock Issues
Exactly! If you found something that fixes this issue then let us know. That's what these forums are all about! Just seems like you're taking a weird approach to this whole thing.
-
Teardown and Rebuild
No the 5100s are like their universal type of shock I believe. But those I linked from CJC seem specifically valved for these dodges weight so I'd imagine they're a little better then just 'regular' 5100

Torque Converter Lock / Unlock Issues
No I'm not

Sooo are you going to say what you did or is it a secret?

Teardown and Rebuild
When I upgrade I'm going with THESE. They say they're valved for the 2500/3500 specifically so in hoping it'll add a little higher level of comfort.
