Bad Injectors ? Video Inside
Ahh ok, the way you said it made me think it was something way different haha

FASS regulator with Fuel Boss
AFAIK, as long as your vp is one of the newer ones without the old plastic/rubbery mesh filter and has the upgraded 'metal' filter your fine for higher pressures.

How are you controlling using the grids? Or you just talking about plugging in and WTS light?

Teardown and Rebuild
Nice! Where'd you find that?!

Brake squeakssss
It was replaced by Les Schwab so nothing fancy. I'll tear into it soon and check for anything out of the norm.

Bad Injectors ? Video Inside
I'd second that! Almost sounds like it has a slight lope to it! How old is the VP? Also... what the crap do you guys measure you oil pressure in up there?!?

relay board and accessory power feed
That looks awesome! Definitely want to see what it looks like installed!

Brake squeakssss
Hmm, I didn't know that. I'll look into it. The brakes were serviced not too long ago by the PO but it might be worth tearing into to check for things like that.

FASS regulator with Fuel Boss
I feel like if my fuel pressure was too steady I'd think something was wrong! haha I don't really have much of a spread... maybe 1-2psi from idle to WOT. The only thing that changes is my beginning idle psi. Sometimes on colder mornings I'll idle around 16.5-17psi, then after some driving I'll be up to 18-18.5psi @ idle and 17-17.5 @ WOT. Typically you hear of people wanting to have a regulator in their systems to avoid a psi drop into a zone that's not good for the VP. You have the opposite 'problem' since the fuel boss only increases with rpm. If your between 16-19psi I'd say leave it be. You're never going to be in a danger zone or even 'yellow' zone for VP fuel pressures so why mess with it? I'd be more worried about installing the regulator and in turn having fuel pressures end up where I don't want them. Just my Like I've mentioned in some of your other threads, it's your truck and if not how you like it then change it! I just like to play devils advocate sometimes!

Sanity check
Yea your not lyin! I really just need a hood since mine looks like it's on risers ever since it flew open at 55mph.
-
Longer cranking...
It'd be for my 02, I see what your saying now though. I misread your first post. I thought it was an entire block off block eliminating the stock fuel filter.

Sanity check
Hey guys, just want to make sure, all hoods from 94-02 trucks will be/fit any truck from that same year regardless or 1500/2500/3500 right? Im looking at getting a hood from a 2001 1500 and just wanted to make sure it'll fit my 99.

Longer cranking...
Yea that's pretty much what I did and ended up close to the same price as you in parts, but with my inexperience and taking the time to do it right, it put me well over the time/money for the custom cables. Still not cheap though!

automatic transmission late shift
So apps and alternator were bad hunh? Glad you got it figured out!
-
Longer cranking...
That sounds like a good alternative, do you have a link to what you got? Currently my stock fuel filter is just taking up space.

W&F Hauling stuff part 2.
This makes me wish I had a reason to have a trailer!

removing fuel sending unit
That looks really good! If I had the flat bed I'd definitely look into this. As far as the fuel level full at all times... Just make sure that you put it back in at the same orientation that it was stock ie; make sure your stock fuel lines are pointed towards the drivers side-ish. If for whatever reason it does get stuck, just get under there and beat on it with a rubber/plastic hammer and it should come loose.

automatic transmission late shift
If you weren't getting the P0122/P0121 then it could still be possible the VP could be the culprit to your problems. Given the codes you have, I DO NOT think the VP is the problem for you, I think it's the APPS. P0121 = APPS Sensor Volts do not agree idle validation P0122 = APPS sensor signal voltage too low I would first try and re-calibrate your APPS to see if that will correct the issue and get rid of the codes. Check your voltage on the stock APPS HERE & Make sure you reset the APPS as well HERE If none of those procedures fixes your problem then I'd look at getting a Timbo APPS from HERE
