And here I thought I had to go outside the box a bit on my track bar install! Looking real good! I now no longer believe I can do this swap haha

Advantage of Draw straw?
I have a drawstraw installed in place of my in tank lift pump (replaced with FASS) as well as 1/2in return line all into the stock (now modified) fuel module. I've ran the tank down below an 1/8th and never had any issues. From what I can tell is anyone having issues with 1/4 tank problems has done something wrong (even slightly) on install. I've had the same talk with the guys at Glacier and ultimately ended up going WITH the drawstraw and haven't had any regrets.

Destroyed Dana 70 rear end...
The first thing I was going to mention was the shop! Looks real nice! Glad you were able to get a decent priced axle. Where did the shop cut the driveshaft to shorten it? I wonder how different the blue top is from red head lol

Exaust 4 or 5 inch
From what I understand there's really no need for the 5in until you get over 500hp yes, but there's really no negative side effects. Most arguments against it were the need for back pressure but most people have stated that there's no need for back pressure.

Snubber, needle valve, or both?
Eric really is a great guy. I've never met him and I'm not sure if he remembers me when I call but we've have quite a few 30+ minute conversations, some were him walking me through things while he was still working, others just shooting the breeze. I think it's pretty awesome when we can bond over a common interest and that it shows there are genuinely good people still out there.

Exaust 4 or 5 inch
Basically there to disrupt the flow of sound waves in the exhaust that would in turn create vibration in the exhaust and cause drone, without sacrificing sound too much.

Exaust 4 or 5 inch
I think 4/5in exhaust drone is a truck by truck basis. I've heard/read multiple different times that some trucks droned like mad with 4in and less with 5in, others are the opposite. Some used factory supplied clamps, others used band clamps. Some added extra support to the exhaust, others didn't. There's so many different variables besides just 'which drones more, 4in or 5in?' I say if you want 5in then get it! If it drones like a mother, then add a resonator. If it still doesn't help then 4in it is and sell the 5in! I have a 4in on my 99 and love it, but I will be putting a 5in on my 02 when I get one ordered. For now I'm just enjoying the quietness that is stock exhaust!

Pyrometers install
That's good to hear that companies are sticking by their products regardless of who purchased it! I have a similar experience with ISSPRO, either way, it's nice to have an extra gauge laying around just in case.

Having an RV is almost a needed item now a days.....
I only say that long ago so I wouldn't have to live through the BS we see today. I know this change has happened in the last 10 years or so, but I wish I could've avoided the whole deal! I grew up really close to my grand parents, my grandpa was born in 1919 and the stories he used to tell me were some of the best stories I'd ever heard. It wasn't until I was older that I realized how sad it was that those stories would likely never be things I'd be able to tell my children or grand children.

You hit the nail on the head on irony in this country. These sort of things really make me wish I was born 80-90 years ago. It seemed back then that people just knew what was right and what was wrong. They didn't need anyone to explain to them how they felt and no one tried to sway a person one way or another. It was cut and dry, plain and simple. Something missing in today's society.

removing fuel sending unit
Did FASS not provide a new auction hose? If not you should get ahold of Eric at Vulcan and get one. I'd advise against using the stock suction hose as it's a really small diameter and has the potential to collapse in on itself under the high suction pressure from the FASS. I'd also suggest pivoting your bulk head fitting 90* one way or another to help ease installation of he hose, or any future adjusting. My suction fitting faced towards the back of the truck and I just ran a little longer hose.

Steering upgrades: How easy are they?
@CTcummins24V What size tires you running? Truck looks real good! I've been tempted to get my wheels powder coated black and this pic isn't helping! ***edit*** nvm! I see it in your sig! How far do they stick out from the body? @leathermaneod As far as the DOR steering upgrade is concerned, from what I understand the main difference between the synergy and DOR is going to be the type of ends the use. Synergy uses a more stock (but obviously beefier) design, where DOR is heim joints. Some people bring up the question of whether or not heim joints are even legal for road going vehicles (probably depends on state laws) and also question the comfort or those same joints. I've had no issues ordering from DOR and have received a couple different fairly quick emails from them in regards to questions I had. You just have to know/understand their a really small operation and Danny does everything, so he's got to pick his priorities/battles. All in all, if you were to order from them, I'd ONLY order parts that show in stock on their website. That should help you avoid really long wait times.

FASS regulator with Fuel Boss
Ok this is what I get for posting when too tired! To clarify... The diaphragm is what I was referring too, and in the past it'd crack due to low fuel pressures. These have been upgraded to a harder plastic or metal type material which eliminates the issues. If by fuel solenoid you mean pintle valves then yes, that can be an issue wrt hit starting troubles. And if that's the case it's having hard starts because the VP is getting too much pressure at start so wiring in a relay or switch would be needed. Hope that clears it up.
